Honey, let's work harder.

Bei Jing gritted his teeth in anger. How dare this culprit stand by and do nothing?!

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a plate of chive rolls on the table, and a mischievous thought popped into her head. She picked up a chive roll and put it in Junchen's bowl.

"Honey, eat more of this, it's good for your health."

Jun Chen paused for a moment, then a smile crept onto his handsome face. "I understand, wife."

His tall frame leaned slightly towards Beijing, and he said in two barely audible voices, "I will work harder in the future to satisfy my wife."

Bei Jing's face darkened instantly. He looked at Jun Chen and said through gritted teeth, "Get out! There won't be a next time. Sleep on the sofa!"

To others, the couple's appearance made them seem like newlyweds, inseparable and affectionate. Aunt Zhang smiled kindly and said, "It's so good to be young, so good to be young."

It was raining outside, and after dinner, the two of them stayed on the soft sofa, while Junchen typed on his laptop, handling company matters.

Bei Jing leaned casually against Jun Chen, covered with a blanket, watching TV and idly flipping through channels with the remote.

She covered her face with her hand and yawned, her bright black eyes becoming misty with a layer of water, and she leaned closer to Jun Chen, bowing slightly.

Junchen stopped what he was doing, reached out and rubbed the little one's fluffy head, asking with concern, "What's wrong? Are you sleepy?"

"Hmm, a little." Rainy days are perfect for sleeping.

"Go back to your room and get some sleep? Hmm?" The little guy has nice hair.

“I’m not going, I’ll stay here.” Bei Jing nudged Gong with his head.

"Okay, we'll stay here."

Three days later was the day to return to the bride's parents' home. As soon as she entered the north gate of the family home, she saw her mother happily pulling Bai You along.

When Bei Ma saw her daughter and son-in-law return, her smile widened. "Jingjing and your son-in-law are back! Come, come, have a seat."

"Mom, Dad, Brother." As Bei Jing and Jun Chen sat down, Bei's mother took their hands. "Jingjing, I have good news for you. Your sister Bai You is pregnant! You're going to have a sister-in-law!"

Bei Jing glanced at his older brother, Bei Feng smiled and nodded, and only then did Bei Jing look away.

Mother Bei glanced back and forth between the two of them with an ambiguous look, then said meaningfully, "You and Xiao Chen also need to step up your game, don't fall too far behind."

"Don't worry, Mom, we'll do our best." Junchen quickly replied, while Bei Jing smiled.

She secretly pinched Junchen's thigh, and Junchen groaned, then wrapped his hand around his little one's playful hand.

Bei Feng and Bai You's wedding was held soon. Bei Jing felt a little melancholy, as if his older brother had finally gotten married.

Although Bai You didn't leave a good impression on him—after all, Bei Jing was cunning and held grudges a bit—Bai You's attitude upon returning this time was quite good.

Besides, this is her older brother's relationship, and he's no longer the naive young man he used to be. There's really no need for her to get too involved or interfere. She trusts her brother's decision.

One morning, Junchen and Beijing were having breakfast when Beijing suddenly felt nauseous and dry heaved in the bathroom.

Junchen was extremely anxious, gently patting Beijing's back with his large hand, "Wife, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell? I'll get Nie Sinian over right away."

Nie Sinian was still comfortably dreaming in bed when he was woken up by a phone call from Jun Chen. Without brushing his teeth or washing his face, he grabbed his medicine kit and drove over to the Jun family home in a hurry.
