“Not favored, very well.” Jun Lin gently stroked the white jade teacup with his fingers, the corners of his thin lips curving upwards.
"Huh?" Bei Yan didn't react and looked at Jun Lin in confusion.
"Since you're not favored, then stay obediently by my side and keep me company." Silver eyes met Bei Yan's dark eyes.
"Hmm... Ah? No, no... Okay, okay!" Sensing the danger in those silver eyes, Bei Yan cowered again.
"This is my little one, so good." Junlin was satisfied, his silver eyes returning to their usual calm.
Bei Yan forced a fake smile. "Heh, obedient my ass! Your whole family is obedient!"
Her eyes darted around, and she walked over to Junlin, tugged at his sleeve, and said with a smile:
Do I look good like this?
The little guy's eyes were bright and expectant, his face practically screaming, "Praise me! Praise me!"
Her black hair was wildly flowing, her dark eyes, like crescent moons, were bright and captivating, her nose was straight, and her red lips were slightly curved.
Like a demon, like a fairy.
That's breathtaking, nothing short of thrilling.
Junlin felt as if his tranquil heart had been deeply stirred, causing ripples to spread across it.
"It's beautiful." That was the answer, almost instinctively.
Having received the praise he wanted, Bei Yan's smile widened.
He patted Junlin on the shoulder, praising him as if to say, "You have excellent taste, Lord Feng!"
"Reign supreme." A sudden sentence.
Bei Yan was stunned, not understanding at first: "What?"
"Junlin, that's my name." I don't know why, but I don't like the little guy calling me Lord Fengjun like everyone else.
"Oh~ Junlin, that's a nice name." So the nemesis that my older brother hates so much is named Junlin. I'll have to tell my older brother about it when I get home.
"Lord Phoenix, the situation at the front has changed!" A soldier's urgent voice came from the tent, indicating that it was not good news.
Jun Lin suddenly stood up and walked quickly towards the tent exit, but stopped halfway there and turned to Bei Yan, saying:
"Stay here obediently, and don't run away."
It seems he still harbors resentment about Bei Yan's last escape.
Bei Yan nodded obediently, and Jun Lin then turned and quickly left.
Once Junlin's footsteps faded into the distance, Bei Yan narrowed his eyes, a cunning glint in his dark pupils.
How could I possibly stay here obediently? I finally transformed into human form, and it would be a disservice to my legs not to sneak out and have some fun!
Before he could even step out of the tent, he was stopped by two celestial soldiers at the entrance:
“Miss, Lord Fengjun said that you are not allowed to leave this place until he returns.”
Bei Yan's face darkened for a moment, then he blinked and looked pitifully at the two celestial soldiers.
"Hey guys, could you do me a favor?"
Bei Yan's face is incredibly striking; if they didn't know Lord Feng Jun's temper, the two celestial soldiers might have let Bei Yan go.
But remembering Lord Fengjun's temper, the two celestial soldiers quickly lowered their heads and clasped their fists:
"Young lady, please don't make things difficult for us."
Bei Yan pursed his lips, dejectedly returned to his tent, sat down at the table, and began to sigh.
He jabbed his finger viciously at the table, muttering, "Junlin, you stinky man! You stinky man!"
The two celestial soldiers at the gate thought to themselves: By Your Majesty, we didn't hear anything!
Fortunately, a short while later, someone brought over the food, including two delicious-smelling chicken drumsticks.
Bei Yan is alive again. Ah, life, there's nothing that chicken legs can't solve. If there are, then have two more!
