Chapter 1045 Out of Control
Yu Shengsheng has been observing Zhou Suihuai.
She tried to see how he reacted to Bian Zhi, but she couldn't see anything.
Zhou Suihuai was the same as she was a few years ago, a little cold and not very talkative. She was the only one talking throughout the entire lunch.
During this period, she wanted to test the relationship between Zhou Suihuai and Bian Zhi, but he didn't say a word.
Yu Shengsheng felt a little frustrated because although Zhou Suihuai neither admitted nor refuted it, she was a little worried.
The girl was called Bian Zhi. She didn't wear any makeup, but she looked very good. She had always been very confident about her looks, but today, even after just looking at Bian Zhi from a distance, she still felt insecure.
"Sui Huai," Yu Shengsheng leaned forward to pour Zhou Sui Huai a cup of tea, and once again tentatively said, "Before I came to the crew, I heard from a friend that Bian Zhi was pestering you every day on the crew. Just now, I saw that you two didn't get along very well. I know a friend on the crew. How about I ask someone to ask Bian Zhi to leave the crew this afternoon so that he won't disturb your filming?"
Zhou Suihuai buried his head in his food and said, "No need."
Yu Shengsheng was stunned for a moment. "Ah? Aren't you annoyed with her? I asked someone to deal with it. It's for your own good, Sui Huai. You're a celebrity, so some things are hard to handle. I understand that. You're too kind-hearted and easily taken advantage of."
Zhou Suihuai chuckled when he heard this, but there was not much smile in his eyes.
He didn't say anything else, turned the dishes on the table, and said to Yu Shengsheng, "Eat."
Yu Shengsheng was a smart person and didn't say anything else. In her opinion, Zhou Suihuai was a very principled man, a bit chauvinistic, and didn't like others to say too much.
She smiled slightly, lowered her head to eat, and looked well-behaved.
Coming out of the restaurant, Yu Shengsheng said to Zhou Suihuai, "I have an appointment with the director for dinner. Suihuai, you can come too. It's not far, let's meet here." She knew that Zhou Suihuai was the person who was most afraid of trouble, so she tried to please him and didn't make an appointment at a restaurant that was too far away.
Zhou Suihuai returned to the crew. Before entering, he subconsciously glanced at the dog at the door.
Because he was too full, the old dog was now lazily curled up in the corner, squinting his eyes and basking in the sun.
Zhou Suihuai glared at the dog, but it remained indifferent and didn't even wag its tail.
Li Kun came over in a hurry.
In fact, he was not quite sure what Zhou Suihuai was thinking at the moment, but there were some things he still had to say.
"Master, you're back so late!"
Zhou Suihuai glanced at the time and said, "I've only been gone for half an hour."
Half an hour is only enough time for a quick meal.
"Yes, but, hey—" Li Kun was speechless. "You were standing at the door just now. Wasn't that too disrespectful to the young lady?"
Zhou Suihuai looked at Li Kun with a somewhat unhappy expression, but he felt that Li Kun would not say such things for no reason, so he said: "If you have something to say, just say it."
"Aren't you afraid that the young lady will be angry now?" Li Kun didn't actually want to ask this, but he was more tactful. After all, he called Bian Zhi the young lady, and Zhou Suihuai never stopped him. In the past two years, the two of them got along very well, and there were obvious signs of breaking the ice.
Why did the relationship suddenly take a turn for the worse?
Zhou Suihuai said nothing and walked towards his seat on the set with a stern face.
"Yu Shengsheng's matter is likely to cause misunderstanding. Can't you explain it?" Li Kun said again.
Zhou Suihuai sat back in his chair, flipped open the script, and his expression suddenly turned cold. "She has caused quite a few misunderstandings, why hasn't she explained them to me?"
Li Kun didn't know what Zhou Suihuai was talking about. He only knew that if he continued like this, he would die.
"I just heard from Ruan Lingyu that the young mistress is leaving."
Zhou Suihuai's hand, which was flipping through the script, suddenly stopped.
He raised his head grimly and looked at Li Kun, his tone cold and hard, his face tense, "What did you say?"
"I said, Ruan Lingyu said that the young mistress is leaving."
As soon as he finished speaking, Ruan Lingyu happened to come over. Li Kun hurriedly called Ruan Lingyu over and asked a question.
Ruan Lingyu lowered her eyelashes and said, "Yes, why are you staying here if you don't leave? Are you going to look down on me? Bian Zhi is good in every way, why should she be humiliated by you here? Cheng Yuyu, Yu Shengsheng, it's endless. If a woman has money, she won't have to worry about not finding a man. Besides, Bian Zhi is so beautiful herself."
"Bian Zhi is leaving. She said she won't be back. Just follow your Yu Sheng—"
Before he could utter the word "sheng" (sound), Zhou Suihuai had already stood up, and the script on the table was hurriedly swept over by the hem of his clothes and fell to the ground.
Ruan Lingyu looked at Zhou Suihuai's hurried and slightly out-of-control back, crossed her chest and sneered, "You're just being stubborn! You still say you don't care!"
Bian Zhi was packing clothes in the room. She only had two sets of clothes. She folded the last one and bent down to put it into her luggage bag.
Suddenly, someone from the outside kicked the door open with a loud "bang!" The door panel was under too much force and hit the wall behind it and bounced back.
I heard another "bang!" and the door panel cracked.
Bian Zhi stood inside the door, looking at Zhou Suihuai with a pale face in shock, and didn't say a word for a long time.
