Chapter 130 Extra 2

When the black lamb trotted up the steps and into Lyle Rossetti's house, everyone looked at the scene in a daze, their hearts filled with surprise and helplessness.

"Why did you put it in there? What if there are parasites?"

"I didn't let it in? I thought one of you opened the door!"

The human boys and girls looked at each other, completely confused as to what was going on, while the lamb walked up to Lyle as if no one was around, and looked at him intently with its dark eyes.

Lyle shuddered, feeling that those eyes sent a chill down his spine. No wonder goats were used as a symbol of the devil in some literary works.

But the strange thing was that he didn't even think of driving the lamb out of his house.

Despite feeling uneasy, he and his companions didn't think there was anything wrong with inviting a sheep into their home. After locking the door again, Lyle sat back in front of the surveillance camera as if nothing had happened, his attention once again focused on Yuri's every move.

Yuri, on a business trip to Pinster, had already booked a room and was taking the elevator to the rooftop. The drones were currently ineffective, and Lyle wasn't so powerful as to control a hotel's internal cameras at will. So, after seeing no human figures, he cheered and began contacting the seller, preparing to drop off the selected goods at the appropriate location.

As an underground industry with high-quality one-stop service, sellers not only provide "supplies" but also do not mind providing some thoughtful extra help to their VIP customers - such as adding something small to someone's diet suitable for the next occasion.

It was already evening in the Coliro District's time zone, and Yuri would soon emerge from his room and head for the hotel cafeteria. Lyle imagined the events that would follow, plunging one or more people into a vortex of pain, and drew immense psychological satisfaction from the tragic end of those he'd taken his anger out on. He'd always done this, growing up, and no one would punish him for his "pranks," just as no one would seriously educate an "ignorant Omega child."

Gurgle.

A stomach cramp interrupted his drug-induced high.

No matter how excited you are, you still need to eat.

Lyle frowned. He'd just imagined a series of scenes of Yuri's downfall, all perhaps triggered by a single meal, so frankly, he wasn't feeling particularly hungry right now. But hunger was unpredictable. It could make a human open their eyes in the middle of the night, clutching their aching stomach, tossing and turning, desperately wanting to bite the covers... It could also force a young man who didn't eat on time to order takeout.

Lyle ordered fast food for 5-7 people. Since they had already ordered, they might as well eat together.

The speed of logistics in the developed areas of the capital was astonishingly fast. Three minutes later, he received the huge package dropped by the drone. The meal was even larger than he had imagined, piled on the dining table into a small mountain taller than a person.

“Are all the customers in this store gorillas?”

That being said, the moment the package was opened, the aroma of cream, cheese, protein-rich meat and sparkling drinks spread rapidly throughout the room, and everyone around the table subconsciously swallowed their saliva.

The black goat, still standing in the living room but almost unnoticed, quietly stared at the pile of steaming food.

Only one young man looked back before stuffing his mouth with fried chicken, and met the lamb's gaze. He couldn't help but ask, "Do you want to eat it?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the young man shook his head and laughed at himself for being crazy - actually asking a herbivore whether it wants to eat meat?

He turned around and began to eat the sumptuous meal in front of him.

Strictly speaking, it was not mealtime in this area. Before the takeaway arrived, half of the people did not feel hungry and did not want to eat any unhealthy fried food, but they were more or less willing to try a little for Lyle's sake.

And when this batch of takeout arrived, no one had the energy to think about anything else.

The smell stimulated the nasal cavity and brain, prompting a rapid secretion of gastric acid. The stomach, sensing the impending arrival of food, began to assert its presence without stopping. It was as if someone was standing on the French fries and fizzy drinks, whispering a devilish message to these weak-willed humans: Come and eat, come and eat, come and eat, these things are really delicious…

If they were a little more awake, they would have noticed something was wrong.

At least the temptation of food is not that strong for adults who are not short of food and clothing.

But now, these people looked like they had been starving for three years, and their eyes glowed green when they saw food.

If the total amount was not abundant and it seemed that the food did not decrease no matter how much they ate, they might have already started a bloody and primitive internal struggle due to excessive hunger and lack of resources.

After an unknown amount of time, Lyle was the first person in the group to realize something was wrong.

It has to be said that his persistence in this work that harms others and does not benefit himself has reached the pinnacle. Even when he was unconscious, he was still thinking about his evil illegal and criminal activities and wanted to know how far the plan had progressed.

It was this unexpected insistence that made him suddenly pull his head out of the food pile. He looked around in astonishment and didn't understand what was happening for a while.

I just ordered takeout...it was delicious...so everyone kept eating and eating and eating...

Why am I still eating?

Am I not full yet?

Why can I eat so much?

Lyle belatedly looked down, horrified to discover his belly was bulging, even more swollen than a pregnant woman in her tenth month. Furthermore, he noticed his skin, stretched to the point of appearing bluish bloodshot, was constantly wriggling, as if something alive was writhing beneath, trying to break free and escape.

"Will you bear a child for me?"

An unfamiliar voice whispered in his ear in an unfamiliar language, but he immediately understood what it meant.

"ah--!"

He screamed reflexively. Although he still didn't know how it happened, a semicircular bulge suddenly appeared on his round belly, similar to the fetal movement in movies and TV shows. However, the creature he was carrying was obviously more powerful than a human embryo. The skin on his belly had been stretched to a thin layer, and the shape of the creature's "hoof" inside was almost clearly visible.

Lyle looked at the black goat that paced towards him with fear and disgust.

"I thought you would like it, my friend."

The whispering sound rang out again.

"Look, haven't you facilitated many such things before?"

No, that’s not the case!

Lyle was so nervous that he couldn't pronounce a single word, and could only roar in his heart:

Those Omegas he'd sent to bed with others, who might have ended up with unwanted pregnancies! It was completely different from what he was going through now! And the perpetrators were the black industry of human trafficking! It was the Alphas who had uncontrollably slept with those Omegas! What did that have to do with me?!

"Really? But I don't think it makes any difference."

After saying this, the lamb lowered its head slightly and stared at Lyle's abdomen carefully.

Lyle didn't know if he saw any 'kindness' in the eyes of this inhuman creature, but he was certain that its cognition was completely different from that of a human. Furthermore, that emotion wasn't directed at him, but at the fetus that would emerge from his belly in some unknown way!

Unbearable fear finally broke the young man, who had little willpower to begin with. Strength quickly drained from his limbs, and cold sweat covered his forehead and back, as if he were seriously ill. Even his body temperature began to drop abnormally... He took one last look at the black goat, its enormous mouth ripping through its fur, its dark, slippery tentacles jutting from its abdomen, its neck covered in tumors. It looked like it had given up on hiding its true nature, and his consciousness gradually faded.

Lyle closed his eyes and passed out cleanly and even with a hint of ecstasy.

When Yuri picked up the Omega who kept rubbing against him and threw her into the ambulance, he was surrounded by the media and the police who arrived a step late.

"What on earth just happened?!"

Even in the face of such a chaotic scene, the young man still looked depressed and replied, "Someone drugged me. This Omega is probably also a victim."

"What did you say? Who did it?"

Before more questions could be hurled, Yuri pointed backward, gesturing to the criminal who had been tied up and beaten so badly that his mother couldn't even recognize him. "The murderer is over there. I know nothing. If you have any questions, please ask him."

Having said that, he still had to stay in the police station for nearly a day and a night before he was able to return to his residence. Considering that the police had uncovered valuable clues from the confession and suspected of discovering an extremely large black industry chain, Yuri would probably not have peace in the next few days. He would constantly receive summons and protection from the police, as well as revenge from criminals.

He looked up at the bright moonlight, unable to bear the ups and downs of life, and yawned again.

I hope that next time whoever comes won’t come at night.

Extremely unfriendly to insomniacs.

"There's nothing medically wrong with your son."

The doctor's assessment after the examination was very brief: "He must have been subjected to strong mental stimulation."

Adams Rossetti couldn't understand why his usually sweet and adorable little son suddenly went berserk after getting home from work, convinced there was a monster growing in his womb. He consulted several doctors, all of whom concluded that Lyle hadn't been physically assaulted.

He then went to ask the young people who were with his son that day and learned that they were also more or less frightened, lost their memory for a period of time, and showed symptoms of mental weakness, but none of them were as serious as Lyle.

The house had tight security measures, with surveillance cameras covering every corner, but no matter how hard Adams checked, he didn't find any unexpected incidents. If there was anything unusual, it was that Lyle Rossetti suddenly ordered a takeout meal shortly after lunch and shared it with the children.

Adams suspected that a large amount of hallucinogen-like ingredients were added to the meal, but before he could investigate and report the fast food restaurant, he visited the police station as a suspect for the first time in his life.

He was suspected of having links to a vast criminal organization and of being at least one of their buyers.

The Rossetti family was completely bewildered. Initially, he argued with a clear conscience, but the police's evidence was irrefutable, and the fake addresses were ultimately confirmed to be his own. During his time in custody before his trial, Adams repeatedly replayed the events, trying to understand who he had offended or what force was targeting him, but he came to no conclusion.

As a small nobleman who is incompetent and always bullies the weak and fears the strong, Adams did offend many people, but those people should never have the ability to retaliate against him. And how could he dare to offend those who are truly powerful?

The person who broke this paradox was also the only one who visited him.

Langman Griffin came to him on a rainy afternoon, and the two looked at each other through a bulletproof glass.

"Are you still confused and don't know why you ended up in this situation?"

The blond nobleman leisurely looked at the unfortunate fellow who was about to become his cellmate and asked with interest.

Adams was startled, but he managed to maintain his composure and asked in a deep voice, "I wonder how I have offended you?"

"Hey." Lang Man waved his hand, "It's not me you offended."

"It's better to say that we have offended the same important person."

Thinking of his past experiences, he rarely felt sad or angry.

"...Who is it? Please help me understand."

Langman said only one sentence: "Do you know whose follower Ulysses Valen is?"

Adams was stunned for a moment, and when he came to his senses, his face lost all color and he looked almost dead.

He remembered a legend.

A... a rumor that has been circulating in the Federation for several years.

Those people say, 'The gods walk the earth.'

Those people also say, 'He is the Supreme Lord who guides us.'

After a long while, the man asked his last question with trembling lips: "My little son, what did Lyle do wrong again?"

"Who do you think wrote those transaction records?"

The former Griffin family head knocked on the glass between them with a smile. "I heard that because he's an Omega and the youngest son, you've kept him away from the family's core business. Apparently, if a kid gets into trouble while idle, it can make big news."

Adams Rossetti had nothing to say.
