Chapter 130 "Water Dragon's Chant"

Honeycomb Bar!

After "Breaking the Enemy's Formation," everyone's attention turned to the third piece.

Song: "Water Dragon Chant"

Performed by: Mr. Mask, Wind Whisper Band

Ancient Music Collector: Mr. Mask

(This piece is selected from Guan Dazhou's "Water Dragon Chant"!)

The first sound is the deep, steady melody of the guqin, carrying the marks of time as it unfolds its story.

Like the breath of the earth, vast and profound.

Like an ancient wind, gently blowing across the heart, it allows one to feel an ancient and mysterious atmosphere.

At that moment, the guqin player was like a wise man sitting alone on a high mountain, gently taking out a scroll of history.

The sound of a drop of water at the 50th second.

Like drops falling into a river, it foreshadows the beginning of a grand drama.

This also stirred the thoughts of wise men, who turned the scrolls, and the five thousand years of history and civilization of the Nine Provinces unfolded one by one at this moment.

At 1 minute and 13 seconds, gentle drumbeats came in, not overshadowing the charm of the guqin.

Then, a faint sound of the xiao (a type of vertical bamboo flute) gently transitioned, setting the stage for the subsequent musical instruments.

At 1 minute and 22 seconds, the chivalrous sound of the erhu, like a swordsman weaving through a bamboo forest, conveys the poignant spirit of chivalry and brotherhood in every move.

I thought "Moon Reflected in the Second Spring" was the piece that best showcased the erhu's spirit, but I didn't expect its chivalrous and heroic spirit to be just as strong.

Then, the listener was transported to the vast Mongolian grasslands, as if Genghis Khan's heroic figure was being recreated.

The erhu faded away, and the pipa music immediately followed.

With lowered brows and nimble fingers, Bei Chen continued to play the zither, each movement exuding a unique charm and producing a series of bouncy sounds.

The sounds of the zither, a cacophony of notes, were truly like pearls falling onto a jade plate.

Like a lotus flower blooming in the long river of history, it is beautiful yet heroic.

At that moment, the listener's thoughts were transported from the vast grasslands to the gardens of the south.

That is the Humble Administrator's Garden, with its well-arranged layout and antique charm.

That was the Master of the Nets Garden, with its compact layout and exquisite architecture.

That's the Lingering Garden, with its winding paths leading to secluded spots and breathtaking scenery at every turn...

Every brick and tile carries history and memories, and every corner is filled with fascinating historical legends.

Several highly skilled musicians were sitting in the middle of the garden.

The pipa took the lead, but the erhu, not to be outdone, made a strong comeback once again.

The melodious sound of the flute embellishes the music, like the brilliance of stars, further elevating the piece.

Then, the group of people all smiled.

What's the point of fighting to the death? We might as well compose a beautiful symphony together.

The combined performance of the three elements brought the traditional Chinese style music back to life, pushing the piece to its climax and highlighting the prosperous scene of the Nine Provinces.

During the pre-Qin period, the state of etiquette was established.

Although the rites and music of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods collapsed, the Hundred Schools of Thought flourished, becoming the origin of the culture of the Nine Provinces.

Subsequently, Qin Shi Huang destroyed the six states and unified the Central Plains.

The Han Dynasty not only expanded its territory but also demonstrated the prowess of the Han people.

Famous generals such as Wei Qing, Huo Qubing, and Dou Xian took the initiative to drive out the Tartars and fought thousands of miles into the desert, demonstrating that "if the enemy can go there, so can we."

The Sui Dynasty existed for a very short time, less than 50 years, but it implemented the imperial examination system, which is still in use today.

The Tang Dynasty was open and inclusive, spreading its culture far and wide abroad.

Even today, "Chinatown" remains popular. Tang Dynasty became a symbol of Kyushu, allowing the world to remember it.

Of the four great inventions that had a far-reaching impact, only papermaking matured during the Song Dynasty.

...

The glory and rise and fall of each dynasty flashed rapidly through the listener's mind.

The cultural treasures left behind by Han Fu, Tang poetry, Song Ci, Yuan Qu, Ming and Qing novels are countless.

The four instruments each have their own unique characteristics, and their harmonious combination showcases the grand and sweeping progress of history.

Every dynasty has its own contributions and shortcomings; they are simply each with its own strengths.

The progress and achievements of each dynasty are inseparable from the contributions of the preceding dynasties.

Inheritance and development are both indispensable!

That's how we came to have the vast and beautiful land of China we have today!

The grandeur and magnificence of this prosperous era were fully displayed, leaving the listeners overwhelmed with emotion.

At the peak, everything came to an abrupt end.

The final strike of the chime brought everything back to dust, back to ashes.

It left the listeners with a lingering sense of wonder...

...
