After putting down the hood, Yi Nanhua said to Yuan Yi.
"No need," Yuan Yi refused outright.
He had already refused Hou Shengbing, so how could he possibly let Yi Nanhua escort him?
"Alright then, I've notified the brigade commander of the special operations brigade."
Although it's called a special operations brigade, it's actually now a brigade-level unit.
He'll be here in a bit!
Half an hour later, a man shouted loudly at the door.
"Report."
Yi Nanhua glanced at Yuan Yi and said with a smile, "You're here."
"Come in."
The office door opened, and a man dressed in special operations uniform walked in.
He had a resolute expression and walked with great strides.
He was tall and imposing, and held the rank of senior colonel.
"Reporting, Special Operations Brigade Commander Chen Qiuhua reporting to the Commander."
The man walked in and shouted loudly at Inanhua.
Yinanhua waved her hand and spoke directly to the man.
"Qiuhua, this is Lu Long."
"He will be transferred to your special forces brigade as deputy brigade commander and training instructor."
Upon hearing Yi Nanhua's words, Chen Qiuhua's already serious face became even more serious.
His brows furrowed even more, and he turned to look at Yuan Yi, scrutinizing him from head to toe.
"Yes, Commander."
Yuan Yi glanced at Chen Qiuhua with surprise, thinking that he would also be targeted by this brigade commander.
Commander Yi Nanhua glanced smugly at Yuan Yi, then turned to Chen Qiuhua and said.
"Do you remember when I told you about the battle with Borneo on the border a couple of years ago?"
"Did one person take down two command posts in Borneo and blow up their overall headquarters to the sky?"
"This is Lu Long, who accomplished this feat all by himself!"
Upon hearing Commander Yi Nanhua's words, Chen Qiuhua turned to look at Yuan Yi.
A hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.
"Yes, Commander, I understand!"
Yi Nanhua looked at Yuan Yi and said to him, "Special Operations Brigade Commander, Chen Qiuhua."
"Lu Long".
Yuan Yi saluted Chen Qiuhua and then extended his hand.
Chen Qiuhua returned the greeting: "Chen Qiuhua."
"Alright, then you two can go back and get to know each other on your own!"
Yuan Yi turned directly to Yi Nanhua and said, "Thank you, Commander. I'll be going with Brigade Commander Chen now!"
Yi Nanhua smiled and waved to Yuan Yi.
Chen Qiuhua immediately helped Yuan Yi lift his luggage, and the two walked downstairs.
Chen Qiuhua kept a cold face the whole way.
Yuan Yi assumed he was two-faced, saying one thing to the commander and another behind his back, so he ignored him.
I'm not here to fawn over you.
The two of them got into the car without acknowledging each other.
"The special operations brigade currently has three thousand personnel."
"They were divided into three brigades, each with a thousand men."
"It's about the same size and configuration as a regiment."
Yuan Yi hadn't expected that after they got into the car, the icy-faced man would start explaining things to him.
"Since the commander said you came as the deputy battalion commander and training instructor."
"Since the recruitment process has just begun this year, you'll be in charge of the recruitment plan!"
Yuan Yi was taken aback; he had heard that recruitment had already been completed.
But it doesn't matter, it's just a selection competition anyway.

Their base was located in a special operations base outside the capital city.
The vehicle arrived at the base after driving for more than an hour.
Chen Qiuhua directly summoned the three brigade leaders.
"First Battalion Commander: Zhou Zhikun, Second Battalion Commander: Wu Tian, Third Battalion Commander: Zheng Huaming."
In the brigade commander's office, Chen Qiuhua introduced the commanders of the three battalions.
All three men held the rank of colonel.
"Zhou Zhikun, isn't your brigade short of a deputy brigade commander?"
"He's been assigned to your first brigade."
"Furthermore, Lu Long will be fully responsible for this recruitment plan!"
Upon hearing this, all three of them were stunned.
Zhou Zhikun, the captain of the first brigade, was about to speak immediately.
Brigade Commander Chen Qiuhua stopped them immediately.
"Go and call Wang Tianlong over here."
A dozen minutes later, a lieutenant colonel ran in.
"Brigade Commander, you were looking for me!"
The person who came spoke directly to Chen Qiuhua.
"This is the newly arrived deputy battalion commander and chief training instructor of the First Battalion."
"Arrange accommodation for him according to his rank as deputy regimental commander."
The newcomer glanced at Yuan Yi, and his eyes lit up when he saw Yuan Yi's young face and the rank of lieutenant colonel.
"Yes, Captain."
Chen Qiuhua turned to Yuan Yi and said, "This is the director of our logistics department."
"Let Director Wang help you with the arrangements first."
After saluting, Yuan Yi picked up his luggage and followed Wang Tianlong out.
After the two left, Zhou Zhikun, the captain of the first brigade, couldn't hold back any longer.
"Brigade Commander, what's going on?"
"We're a special operations force, how can we let some 'gilded young master' into the team?"
After hearing Zhou Zhikun's words, Chen Qiuhua gave him a cold look.
"Young Master, who told you it belonged to you?"
"When are you going to correct this habit of yours?"
"As a captain, you must treat everyone equally!"
"With your prejudiced viewpoint, do you even know how strong others are?"
With a stern expression, Chen Qiuhua launched into a tirade against the brigade leader.
