Convenience Store on a Rainy Night (Part 4)

Convenience Store on a Rainy Night (Part 4)

He Yinxin met her tear-filled eyes and finally saw her face clearly again.

Jiang Yichun's features remained relaxed, and her eyelashes were long, fluttering like butterflies.

Her lips were rather thick, resembling red cherries.

Her cheeks were puffed out and were trembling slightly.

He Yinxin didn't reply to her, but as if possessed, she pinched her cheeks a few times.

The soft touch reached his fingertips, he swallowed, and continued to gently rub them a few more times.

"He Yinxin! What are you doing?" Jiang Yichun slapped his hand away. "Did you...did you even let me touch you?"

"I'm the client now!"

"By the way, are you planning to sign?"

He Yinxin lowered her eyes, pouted, and immediately withdrew her hand, like a little dog stealing its owner's food: "Of course I signed it."

"So, Xiaochun, as the client, what should I, as the service provider, do?"

Jiang Yichun stroked his chin, his eyes darting around: "Hmm... Let's make a verbal agreement first. The first rule is that you're not allowed to hide anything from me!"

"Article 2. Without Party A's permission, Party B shall not engage in any intimate behavior with Party A that Party A cannot tolerate."

Jiang Yichun angrily took his hand again and gently pressed his palm: "For example, you touched my face without my permission just now."

He Yinxin moved closer to her and looked up at her: "Xiaochun, what should we do if we break the contract?"

"Am I no longer your prospective boyfriend?"

Jiang Yichun met his wet eyes and her mind went blank for a moment.

The "Pre-Lovers Agreement" was just a spur-of-the-moment decision for her; she hadn't thought much about it, let alone how to severely "punish" the fool in front of her if she broke it.

All the strange and bizarre punishments she had imagined vanished in the sight of his tearful eyes.

His tearful eyes always touched the softest part of her heart.

Jiang Yichun retorted, "If you breach the contract... I will punish you accordingly. We'll discuss the specifics later!"

He Yinxin's eyelashes fluttered, and she gently hummed in agreement.

"So I'm going to sign the contract."

How do I draw a lot?

Jiang Yichun lifted his hand, took his thumb and touched it to his own: "Signed."

He Yinxin's hand didn't move. He stared wide-eyed: "It's signed? This is a bit hasty, isn't it?"

"Isn't it safer to have a contract in writing?"

Jiang Yichun snorted lightly, a slight smile playing on his lips: "Human machine, I knew you'd say that."

"Let's sign the contract in black and white at the library tomorrow. The convenience store doesn't offer that option."

Jiang Yichun grabbed his wrist: "It's getting late. I've thought of a way to punish you. Come back to school with me and take me back to my dorm!"

He Yinxin's drooping eyes finally lifted slowly, gleaming with a faint light. He nodded and gently took her hand.

He grinned foolishly and said, "Hehe, yes sir."

By the time the two walked out of the convenience store, the summer downpour was almost over.

Fine, dense raindrops fell slowly in the cool light.

The two did not hold hands, but walked side by side forward, with their backs to the light.

Jiang Yichun gazed at the familiar street before him, and the shadows of the two men fell in front of them.

The two shadows, which were parallel to each other, gradually drew closer together.

Jiang Yichun's thoughts drifted, the phrase "If you step on the heart of the other's shadow, the two of you can be together" echoing in her ears, stirring up her memories.

That night, I walked behind He Yinxin and stepped on the heart of his shadow.

At the time, she thought it was a mistake, but she never expected it to be a prophecy.

Now, she is walking alongside him.

Jiang Yichun slightly raised the corners of her mouth, watching the shadow beside her on the ground gradually approach her, until they finally pressed tightly together.

She felt a soft touch on her skin, and the scent of kapok filled her nostrils.

He Yinxin quietly shortened the distance between them without them noticing, gradually getting closer to her.

"What are you doing?" Jiang Yichun instinctively dodged to the side, raising an eyebrow at him.

He Yinxin pouted: "They detected that my heart rate is too fast. Xiaochun has to hold my hand to relieve it."

"If you're not willing, then forget it."

Jiang Yichun took a few steps toward him, hooking her fingertips around his little finger, biting her lip: "I'm not unwilling, just... just hold hands for a moment."

"I don't want to see you looking so wronged anymore, it's a bit annoying."

He Yinxin's hand trembled, and he immediately inserted his fingers into the gap between her fingertips, interlocking their fingers.

The two figures finally met and slowly walked towards the school.

Shadows overlapped, raindrops drifted down, and finally we arrived at the dormitory building.

"Xiaochun, can I hug you? Hugging my prospective partner will make me release dopamine..."

He Yinxin's heart pounded like a drum, and her Adam's apple bobbed.

He took a deep breath and tentatively asked, "A prospective couple... can we hug?"

As he said this, his hand followed the umbrella handle and gently grasped the back of her hand.

Jiang Yichun's cheeks flushed red. She intertwined her fingers with his and softly murmured "Mmm."

The sound of her heartbeat completely swallowed up the last trace of fear in her heart.

He Yinxin's Adam's apple bobbed a few times, and he took a few small steps forward, whispering in her ear, "Let's go over there. It's too bright here, so it's not appropriate to hug."

"I don't want us to be posted on the confession wall tomorrow morning; it's bad for our privacy."

He placed his hand on her waist, pulling her into his arms, and the two walked side by side into the shadows of the light.

Jiang Yichun rested his head on his shoulder, intertwined his fingers with his with one hand, and loosely wrapped his arm around his waist with the other.

He nodded slightly, inhaling the scent of shampoo from the top of her hair, his hands gradually tightening until he completely enveloped her in his embrace.

The two shadows intertwined under the lamplight.

"Xiaochun, may I call you baby?"

"Hmm... Baby?" Jiang Yichun raised his head, called him softly, and had a teasing smile on his lips.

He Yinxin's heart almost stopped. He hugged Jiang Yichun even tighter: "Xiaochun, why are you calling me baby?"

Jiang Yichun looked away, pinching his back with her fingertips, her breath hot against his ear: "I just missed you, because you look so well-behaved right now, like my little puppy."

"Baby, I want to touch your head."

He Yinxin blushed even more, his hands rubbing up and down Jiang Yichun's waist, unsure of where to place them.

He could only lower his head stupidly, gently rub his head against her shoulder a few times, raise his almond-shaped eyes, and say with a trembling mouth, "Mmm, you can touch it."

Jiang Yichun raised his hand and rubbed his half-dry black hair a few times. His hair was soft and felt like a ball of goose down.

Her heart pounded faster and faster, and she murmured softly, "Baby...be good."

He Yinxin seemed to be under her spell, muttering and humming softly, her hands restlessly stroking her back, and her body pressing closer to her.

He continued to rub his head against her palm without saying a word.

Jiang Yichun pictured her own little mongrel dog, Potato, in front of her eyes. When Potato was petted on the head, it would rub against her palm, its tail wagging like a propeller.

If He Yinxin had a tail, it would probably wag faster than a potato.

She took a deep breath and finally uttered the two words hidden in her heart: "Doggy?"

"Xiaochun, don't call me that." He Yinxin snorted and buried her face in her shoulder. "It's too... too strange."

"I don't really want to bark like a dog."

His voice came through the fabric, muffled.

Jiang Yichun's hand slid from his head to the back of his neck, touching the red mark he had bitten, and laughed: "I didn't ask you to bark like a dog. Anyway, you're already my dog, uh, boyfriend, or soon-to-be boyfriend."

"Look, this is the seal."

Her fingertip poked at the small red mark, her voice rising at the end: "Did I bite you that day and hurt you?"

"Should I..."

"hiss……"

Before Jiang Yichun could lower his head to kiss that spot, a kiss landed on her neck.

He Yinxin's kiss felt like a feather brushing against her neck, yet it stirred up waves of agitation and ticklish sensations.

"Ugh, it tickles!" Jiang Yichun's skin instantly broke out in goosebumps, and she hugged him even tighter. "He Yinxin, why did you steal a kiss from me?"

He Yinxin released her, her eyes glazed over, as if she had already been immersed in her soft embrace and could not escape her gentle embrace.

"Xiaochun, I want to kiss you... We didn't have a formal relationship before, but now we do."

"Don't you like it? If you don't like it, I won't kiss you next time."

"I've crossed the line, should I be punished?"

Jiang Yichun continued to ruffle his stray hairs, his fingertips touching the small mole on the back of his neck.

He touched the softest part of her heart once again.

"This time, let it go this time."

"I didn't say I didn't like it. We can try again later..."

He Yinxin didn't answer her, but continued kissing the back of her neck, and finally gently bit her earlobe.

"He Yinxin! Are you a dog?"

He Yinxin looked up at her, gently leaned on her shoulder, and hummed in agreement.

He continued to gently nuzzle her shoulder, muttering softly, "There's nothing wrong with being your girlfriend's dog. Dogs can provide a lot of emotional value to girlfriends, making them release oxytocin and keeping them in a good mood at all times."

His series of academic remarks left Jiang Yichun both amused and exasperated.

She could only pat his back lightly: "You stinky robot, from now on I'll call you Robot Dog."

"Anyway, robot dogs won't bark like dogs."

He Yinxin sighed helplessly and hugged her even tighter: "You're the most talkative one. You always come out with weird and strange things."

"You're not exactly a girl either, yet you pretended to be a girl to get close to me, what a weirdo."

“Your statement is true, but the label of ‘weirdo’ is unfounded, and I refuse to accept it.”

"He Yinxin, you've got some nerve! I'm your client now!"

"Your provisional contract does not state that Party B cannot refute Party A."

The two hugged and bickered, but they held each other even tighter, and the distance between their lips gradually shortened.

He Yinxin's heart beat faster and faster. His nose was filled with the fragrance of the girl's hair in front of him, mixed with the dampness of the rain.

In his hazy vision, all he could see were her lips, which were constantly opening and closing.

He lowered his head and wiped his lips.

It's like savoring the sweetness on the surface of a cherry.

Jiang Yichun's face instantly turned red, and she immediately buried her head in his chest.

She could hear his heart pounding like raindrops.

"Can Party B kiss Party A's lips?" she asked in a muffled voice.

He Yinxin chuckled softly: "The contract doesn't stipulate it, so it should be possible."

"Moreover, from my observation, Party A is not opposed to Party B's new proposals."

"Besides, the second party didn't actually get intimate; they just brushed past each other."

"You're just a cunning liar who knows how to exploit loopholes in the rules." Jiang Yichun lightly punched his chest, but quickly leaned into his arms again.

He Yinxin quietly held her in his arms. Her body was not thin, but rather well-proportioned, with soft fat distributed throughout, making her feel like a soft blanket when held in his arms.

His ears grew increasingly hot, and the blood in his body gradually rushed to one place.

His body remained firmly clung to hers.

Jiang Yichun stiffened, his hand stroking the man's lower abdomen: "...Old He, why is your belt so stiff today?"

"What? I'm not wearing a belted top... Ah!"

"……you!"

"It's quite big, what kind of belt is it?"

"Jiang Yichun!"

He Yinxin exclaimed in surprise, took a few steps back, and her hand was still on her waist:

"Xiaochun, this is wrong, it goes against public order and good morals!"

Jiang Yichun's fingertips were burning hot. She turned her head to the side and stretched out her five fingers: "But I didn't touch anything. I only touched your abs."

"It's clearly you... who's too sensitive."

He Yinxin shook her head helplessly and pulled Jiang Yichun into her arms again: "Alright, stop fooling around, Xiaochun, it's getting late, let's go back and rest?"

Jiang Yichun rubbed the hem of his clothes with his fingertips, nodded slightly, stood on tiptoe, and whispered in his ear, "Goodnight, Lao He."

Her light, airy words ignited a spark in his ear. He Yinxin bent down and hugged her again: "Mmm, goodnight and sweet dreams, Xiaochun."

"I'll wait for you at the library tomorrow."

"Okay, sure."

He Yinxin stood in the shade of the tree, silently watching her flowing hair disappear through the dormitory door.

He slung his bag over his shoulder, turned around, and went back to his dormitory.

He sat in the chair, stroking the glass jar he had found again, its vibrant colors shimmering in his eyes.

Although the rabbit was poorly made, he thought it was cuter than anything else.

Because it was her, she drew it herself.

The fragments that were once scattered in his hands are now held whole in his grasp.

"Xiaochun, thank you for being willing to accept me again."

He took out his phone, opened the notes app, and looked at the section on "[Minor Matters Related to Jiang Yichun]".

He raised the corners of his mouth and changed the title to: [Preparatory Boyfriend Guide].

He also added a little red heart after the title of that memo.

Finally, he added a point to the guide:

[On July 20th, we became a couple, and she liked me too.]

I am her robot dog.
