"Ms. Xiao, this is Director Huang from our assessment center. He's here to conduct a psychological evaluation on you."
Several doctors came in, led by an old man in his fifties.
He was holding a document with densely packed test questions on it.
"Hello, Director Huang, it's an honor." Xiao's mother acted very politely.
She stood up, bowed, and stretched out her hands to shake hands with Director Huang.
"I've learned about your situation. You're recovering well." Director Huang nodded and sat down.
"Now we're going to conduct a psychological assessment on you. I'll ask some questions. If you can get an A, it means you've fully recovered."
"Director Huang, I will try my best." Xiao's mother nodded.
"Okay, let's get started." Director Huang pulled out a piece of paper and said, "I'll randomly ask the questions on it."
"Okay." Xiao's mother nodded.
"Director Huang, the reason she's mentally ill is because of me." Xiao Chen on the side spoke.
"So I should be the one asking the questions on your behalf for this test. If she passes all of them, it means she's truly recovered."
"Who are you?" Director Huang looked at Xiao Chen in confusion.
"Director Huang, this is her son. He is right. Ms. Xiao's illness is partly due to Xiao Chen."
"If she can remain calm and composed when facing Xiao Chen, it means she is really recovered." Wang Jiang on the side pulled Director Huang aside to explain.
Director Huang suddenly understood and nodded: "Ms. Xiao, is everything okay?"
"No...problem." Although Xiao's mother gnashed her teeth in hatred, she still forced a smile.
Even though she knew Xiao Chen was going to cause trouble, she had to agree.
"Okay, let's start." Director Huang waved his hand.
“Okay, Ms. Xiao, please fill the bathtub with water. There is a cup and a basin next to you.”
"I want to drain the bathtub. Is it faster to use a cup or a basin?"
"Of course, use a basin." Xiao's mother answered without hesitation.
"Wrong answer." Xiao Chen glanced at her and said, "A normal person would open the bathtub plug and the water would flow out automatically."
