Let go
After finishing their meal, everyone returned to school together.
When Song Huan arrived at the classroom, she wrote a few lines on a piece of scrap paper, folded it neatly, and passed it to Lin Xing.
Lin Xing opened the small piece of paper: Why did you order osmanthus cake?
He thought about it for a moment, then wrote it down and sent it to Song Huan.
Song Huan was somewhat stunned after opening it.
It says: Because you love to eat it, just like when you ordered sweet and sour pork.
Sweet and sour pork is Lin Xing's favorite. Osmanthus cake is Song Huan's favorite.
Song Huan smiled, folded the note, and tossed it into a corner.

It never snows in City C in previous years, but it snowed strangely this year.
At the end of November, pure white snowflakes fell from the sky, like butterflies draped in silver, dancing gracefully. They landed as softly as goose feathers on the rooftops and streets, plunging C city into a pristine white expanse.
Song Huan pinched the snowflakes that had fallen between her fingers, and her originally fair face was flushed red.
"Huanhuan, are you going down to play?" Xu Han asked.
Song Huan took Xu Han's hand: "Okay."
The two went downstairs.
The road was covered in snow, and many people were having a snowball fight. A snowman would appear every few meters.
Xu Han made a snowball and threw it at Song Huan.
A burst of white flowers instantly appeared on Song Huan's black down jacket; the force was so strong that some of them clung to her hair.
"Well done, Xu Han, you've launched a sneak attack!" Song Huan laughed and scolded.
Xu Han made a slight noise, then pinched the ball and continued her attack.
Suddenly, Xu Han felt a chill on her neck.
She turned around and saw that it was Lin Xing.
Xu Han seemed to have thought of something, and then laughed: "You, Lin Xing, you're helping Huanhuan, it's not fair for two against one!"
Lin Xing ran to Song Huan's side: "Then go find some help!"
Jiang Siye suddenly appeared out of nowhere: "I'm here to lend you a hand." He made a ball and stood next to Xu Han.
"Then let's have a fair fight." Lin Xing was ready.
"That suits me perfectly."
The four men fought evenly, each displaying their strength.
Song Huan's clothes were covered in snow, even her face.
"How about we build a snowman?" Song Huan suggested.
Everyone agreed wholeheartedly.
"Let's see who can build the prettiest one! The loser will buy everyone presents on Christmas Day!" Xu Han said excitedly.
Everyone split up. Song Huan and Xu Han went to find branches and stones, while Jiang Siye and Lin Xing built the snowman's body.
Xu Han took Song Huan's hand and began searching in the snow.
"Huanhuan, over here!" A few branches were stuck in the snow not far away, their slightly brown color standing out against the white snow.
Song Huan picked up the branch and noticed some pebbles nearby.
"Who is it? So kind." Xu Han felt it couldn't be that coincidental.
"Let's go back first, they're still waiting." Song Huan pulled Xu Han back.
When they got back, Lin Xing and the others had already built the snowman; all that was missing were the eyes and hands.
They even brought a carrot with them to use as the snowman's nose.
Song Huan placed tree branches on both sides of the snowman and pebbles on either side above its nose.
After inserting it, Song Huan looked at it from here and there, and felt very satisfied.
“This snowman looks just like you,” Song Huan said to Lin Xing with a smile, gesturing as she spoke.
Lin Xing didn't refute, and just hummed in agreement.
Song Huan thought of the star lanterns and jokingly said to Lin Xing, "I'll be your bright star, illuminating the night sky for you."
Lin Xing realized something and replied, "I'll be your snowman, giving you something to rely on."
