Let go

Let go

Tutoring started on the second day

Through several class tests, Song Huan already knew Lin Xing's academic performance.

His Chinese language scores were extremely poor; he could only score in the 60s on a 150-point test. But what Song Huan envied was that Lin Xing's science scores were almost perfect. Because of this severe imbalance in his subjects, he was often called in for a talk by Teacher Chen.

Lin Xing might spend more than an hour on a simple reading comprehension question.

Song Huan, somewhat helplessly, took out a brand-new notebook and began taking notes for Lin Xing.

Xu Han leaned closer, blinking her big eyes and asking Song Huan with a puzzled look, "Huanhuan, what are you doing?"

“Take notes for Lin Xing.” Song Huan brushed a strand of hair from her earlobe.

"Oh." Xu Han was about to sit back down. "Wait!"

Song Huan stopped writing, puzzled, and looked at her.

Xu Han deliberately moved even closer, her face almost touching Song Huan's body, and whispered, "Are you taking notes for Lin Xing?"

Song Huan blushed: "Mmm."

Xu Han gave a meaningful smile, which made Song Huan feel inexplicably angry. She tapped Xu Han's forehead twice with her finger: "You're being infatuated again. You should learn from your classmates!"

Xu Han quickly agreed, stuck out her tongue at Song Huan, and went to do her homework.

Song Huan shook her head helplessly.

Now it's senior year of high school, the most special year of her life, and her best friend is infatuated with a boy every day, which leaves Song Huan at a loss for what to do.

She and Xu Han had known each other since elementary school and were very close. However, Xu Han's grades were less than satisfactory, causing her parents a lot of worry.

Song Huan decided to help her and Lin Xing with their tutoring.

She wrote in her notebook: Let's have tutoring together.

He pushed the draft paper in front of Xu Han.

Xu Han paused for a few seconds, then wrote after reading: Hmm.

It's noon.

Song Huan had just arrived at school when she saw Lin Xing already sitting in her seat with her things, waiting for her.

Lin Xing greeted him, "A Qiu!"

Song Huan nodded and walked to her seat.

Lin Xing opened her exercise book and handed it to Song Guan: "Let's begin."

Song Huan said, "Let's wait for Xu Han."

"She's coming too!" Lin Xing exclaimed in surprise.

"Um."

Lin Xing didn't say anything more and took out a test paper to do the questions.

At this moment, Song Huan seemed to remember something. She rummaged through the drawer, took out a small notebook, and handed it to Lin Xing: "There are notes I took for you in here. You can take a look at them later."

Lin Xing carefully opened the notebook, looked at the densely filled notes, and felt a pang of heartache. She said, "Doesn't your hand hurt from writing so much?"

"No, as long as you can improve your grades next time." Song Huan took out another notebook from the drawer. "I also need to help Xu Han write one."

“Am I not unique?” Lin Xing blurted out.

Song Huan: ""

Realizing something was off about her statement, Lin Xing quickly explained, "That's not what I meant. I meant, are the notes the same, or different?"

“Same,” Song Huan replied.

“Oh,” Lin Xing seemed somewhat displeased.

After waiting for more than ten minutes, Xu Han finally arrived late. She apologized as she rummaged through her drawer and took out her practice books.

Once everyone was present, Song Huan began her lecture: "Come on, let's start. First, do a test."

The other two said OK, and Song Huan continued to help Xu Han organize her notes.

After they started talking, the three of them fell silent, and the atmosphere became somewhat quiet.

About an hour later, both of them finished a Chinese language exam. Song Huan had almost finished tidying up her paper, so she handed the notebook to Xu Han and took out a red pen to start grading.

The sound of pens slicing across exam papers evoked a sense of tense anticipation for Xu Han and Lin Xing.

More than ten minutes later, Song Huan put down her pen.

Lin Xing was relatively consistent, scoring 67 points. Xu Han scored 107 points, which was neither good nor bad in the grade.

Song Huan returned the test papers to the two students and asked them to carefully examine where they had made mistakes.

"Ah Xing, your foundation isn't solid; you can't even get all the classical poems right. Xu Han, your writing is just not good. Go back and read more writing books..."

The two listened intently, which made Song Huan more and more excited as she spoke. After more than an hour, she had talked until her throat was hoarse.

Lin Xing handed Song Huan a throat lozenge: "Eat this and the pain will go away."

Song Huan thanked him softly, tore open the packaging of the throat lozenges, and put the lozenges in her mouth.

The sugar is refreshing and pleasant.

"That's enough for today." Song Huan packed her things and reminded Lin Xing, "Make me catch up on math this afternoon."

Lin Xing gave an OK sign and then walked out of the classroom.

Song Huan seemed to remember her birthday and quickly tugged at Lin Xing's sleeve: "Xing, it's my 19th birthday this Saturday, shall we celebrate?"

Lin Xing paused for a moment, then turned her head and asked, "Me?"

Song Huan found his reaction a little strange, but didn't say anything, just nodded.

"Thank you," Lin Xing said in a voice only she could hear.

Then he asked, "Where?"

“Apartment 28, 21st Floor, Building 5, Jingyi Residential Area.” Song Huan tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Okay." Lin Xing smiled, waved to Song Huan, and left the classroom.

Song Huan chuckled softly.

He's still so annoying.

Lin Xing couldn't stop smiling as he left the classroom. He excitedly circled the teaching building three times to get to the restroom.

I never knew that being attracted to someone could be so intense.
