Let go

Let go

The New Year's Day holiday officially begins.

Lin Xing got Song Huan's contact information the day before the holiday.

Song Huan didn't want to give it, but seeing Lin Xing's pitiful eyes, she gave it to him anyway.

Song Huan thought that the handwriting on that piece of paper must have been left by someone else. He was so carefree, he definitely didn't have anyone he liked.

She hopes that's the truth.

But she really wanted him to fall in love with her soon.

Lin Xing's given name is very simple: Xin.

Song Huan's given name is Huan, pronounced Huan.

"The letter is returned," "I am happy," not bad.

Song Huan had to take her final exams as soon as she returned from New Year's Day, so she spent the entire day studying in her room.

As night fell and a bright moon rose in the sky, colorful neon lights illuminated the night sky, and the barking of dogs outside the window reached Song Huan's ears.

Song Huan scratched her head in frustration. A math problem had been bothering her for a long time, and now she had absolutely no clue how to solve it.

"Ding." Just then, my phone beeped.

Song Huan glanced at the message and saw that it was from Lin Xing.

Want to hang out?

Song Huan stared at the screen, somewhat speechless. Even at a time like this, he was still thinking about playing games.

She replied: [If you can solve this problem for me, I'll leave.]

The other end replied after a while: [Let me see.]

Song Huan sent a picture, and in less than ten minutes, Lin Xing solved the math problem that she had been pondering for a long time.

Song Huan sent an admiring emoji.

Lin Xing: [Shall we come out?]

Song Huan: [Wait for me.]

She quickly put on her shoes, said a few words to her parents, and hurriedly left.

After waiting downstairs for a while, Song Huan saw the boy in the black coat.

It's Lin Xing.

Lin Xingyi gave her a hand warmer as soon as she came over and asked her if she was cold.

Even though he was wearing even less, his first question was whether he was cold.

Song Huan was already quite hot, wearing a thick sweater and a down jacket. Now, Lin Xing handed her a hand warmer, and she felt like lava was flowing inside her.

But in order not to spoil Lin Xing's fun, Song Huan still put the hand warmer in her pocket.

Song Huan asked Lin Xing, "Where shall we go?"

"Let's go shopping," Lin Xing said.

Song Huan didn't understand why a man like him liked shopping, but she didn't say anything more.

They went to the "Weiwan" online mall.

The song "Starry Night" was playing in the mall, and crowds of people were moving between the various shops.

Song Huan and Lin Xing passed by a doll shop.

The shop was filled with machines, illuminated by dazzling lights. The sounds of coins being inserted mingled with cheers and complaints, reaching Song Huan's ears.

Seeing that Song Huan kept staring at the doll shop, Lin Xing pulled her into the doll shop.

After exchanging currency with the staff, Lin Xing let go of Song Huan and went to a machine.

Song Huan's wrist turned from white to red as Lin Xing pulled it. She stroked it as she walked to Lin Xing's side.

Lin Xing acted decisively. With a twist of the joystick, the machine moved above a pink rabbit. After stopping the joystick, Lin Xing pressed the button again, and the machine slowly grabbed the pink rabbit. It lifted it up, moved it, and the pink rabbit appeared as expected.

Lin Xing took out the pink rabbit and handed it to Song Huan.

"The falling stars and moon bring ruin to the world, causing flowers to wither and hearts to break; how can one forget such a fleeting glimpse of beauty..."

The song was still playing, reminding Song Huan of her confession.

Yes, she was so persistent in pursuing Jinghong, how could she forget him?

"Ah Qiu?"

Song Huan responded, smiling as she took the doll: "Thank you."

After leaving the doll shop, Lin Xing asked Song Huan what she wanted to eat.

Song Huan thought for a moment and replied, "I want to eat candy."

Lin Xing smiled indulgently and took her to the candy store.

Song Huan took a bag and began to carefully select items.

Finally, she chose milk candy.

After paying, Song Huan tore open a package and put the candy in her mouth.

Sweet and soft, with a milky flavor that fills your taste buds.

She gave another one to Lin Xing.

Lin Xing paused for a few seconds, then took the package, tore it open, and started eating.

Song Huan asked, "Is it sweet?"

Lin Xing said softly, "Sweet, very sweet."

"Look!" Song Huan suddenly pointed to the sky.

Lin Xing looked in the direction she was looking.

Fireworks twinkled in the distance, one after another, like fairies descending to earth.

The moon shone even brighter, emitting a faint glow, and its light enveloped the entire city of C.

"The moon is so round and beautiful, and the fireworks are gorgeous too," Song Huan said with a smile.

"Um."

Happy New Year, Ah Xing.

Happy New Year, Ah Qiu.

What keeps me going in City C is you.

No matter how beautiful the fireworks are, or how full the moon is, only you can catch my eye.
