"Let's go back and find Brother Xinghui first. Maybe he has a solution."
After saying that, Qingran pulled her back, afraid that Lingxi would impulsively run off to Dragon Hidden Valley.
Although Li Xi was filled with worry and unease, she knew that now was not the time to act rashly, especially since she was no match for Qing Ran.
So she nodded silently and followed them back to the village.
The little elves in Green Valley, unlike mortals, do not need to rely on grains to fill their rumbling stomachs.
However, they had a special fondness for the sweet nectar and the spiritual fruits containing the essence of heaven and earth, because these delicacies were of great benefit to their cultivation path.
As an ordinary mortal, Li Xi didn't benefit much from these foods brimming with spiritual energy.
For her, it was just like enjoying ordinary fruit on any other day.
However, she accepted and ate all the souls offered by the enthusiastic elves.
"Lingxi, be careful not to overeat. Why do you eat whatever anyone gives you?" Qingran shook her head speechlessly.
With food bulging in her mouth, Li Xi, her cheeks puffed out like a little hamster, mumbled, "Of course I'm going to enjoy this welcome feast that everyone's throwing for me! And all this food looks delicious!"
As she spoke, she picked up another spirit fruit and popped it into her mouth, squinting her eyes in satisfaction.
Qingran sighed helplessly.
"Lingxi, I have something to tell you. Come here for a moment," Xinghui said quietly as she walked to her side.
The two walked to the stone pillar, and Xinghui looked at Li Xi with a solemn expression.
He gently patted the stone bench beside him, gesturing for Li Xi to sit down, and then sat down himself. "Lingxi, I heard from Qingran that you're going to Dragon Hidden Valley?"
Upon hearing this, Li Xi paused slightly.
After swallowing the spiritual fruit in her mouth, she nodded. "Yes, I heard that there is a way back to the mortal world from there. I don't know how I got here, but there are still things I haven't finished doing in the mortal world."
Xinghui looked at her, momentarily stunned, then said in a deep voice, "Dragon Hidden Valley is a dangerous place. Although the dragons there are not inherently evil, there are all sorts of ferocious monsters in the valley. Moreover, the terrain is complex and the environment is harsh, making it difficult for ordinary people to enter. Even if you can find the way back to the mortal realm, you may not be able to pass through safely."
Li Xi frowned, feeling somewhat worried, but still said firmly, "I know this journey will be difficult, but I have made up my mind that no matter what difficulties I encounter, I will not back down."
Xinghui was silent for a moment, then sighed and said, "Since that's the case, then I won't try to persuade you anymore. I just hope that you make full preparations before going to Dragon Hidden Valley, and try to improve your strength and coping abilities. If you need any help, you can come to me at any time."
Li Xi nodded gratefully, a hint of emotion flashing in her eyes, and said softly, "Thank you, Xing Hui. Perhaps it really was fate that brought me to this place. Although I know all of this happened in a dream, I am truly happy to meet you all here."
A dream? Upon hearing this, Xinghui gave a bitter smile but said nothing more.
He knew in his heart that he absolutely could not reveal a single thing about her past before she awakened to the truth, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable.
He could only watch her silently, his eyes revealing deep helplessness and worry.
However, she seemed oblivious to his odd behavior, still lost in her own thoughts.
"Wait!" Just as she was about to turn and leave, Xinghui suddenly called out to her.
She turned to look at him in confusion, only to see Xing Hui rapidly forming hand seals and chanting incantations. A mysterious light shot out from his hands, instantly enveloping her.
After doing all this, Xinghui breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I hope this spell can help you get through this ordeal."
After saying that, he fell silent, simply standing there quietly, watching her receding figure.
After discussing it, Li Xi and Qing Ran decided to first go to the edge of the Dragon Clan's territory to scout out any possible clues.
Everyone knows that directly invading the dragon's territory would be suicidal, so a clever strategy is necessary.
Night falls, and the moonlight shines like water.
Under the cover of night, they quietly set off for Dragon Hidden Valley.
Along the way, they carefully avoided the monsters that came out to hunt for food.
With her keen senses and familiarity with the surrounding environment, Qingran led Li Xi through a maze of turns, finally managing to get close to the dragon's border.
"Qingran, this is enough. You can go back now. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance." Li Xi didn't want Qingran to go on an adventure with her.
After all, she was just a mortal, and the dragons probably wouldn't make things difficult for her.
However, if the elves trespass into Dragon Hidden Valley, they will stir up a hornet's nest and cause a huge uproar.
“But…” Qingran was about to retort when Li Xi interrupted her.
“This is my mission, and my destiny. Thank you for helping me find this place, but I don’t want to drag you down with me.” Li Xi gently patted Qing Ran’s shoulder.
A hint of reluctance and worry flashed in Qingran's eyes, but she finally nodded.
Knowing that Li Xi's decision was unlikely to change, she took a string of beads that shimmered faintly from her wrist and placed it in Li Xi's hand: "This string of 'Hidden Spirit Beads' can temporarily conceal your aura. Although its effect on the dragon race is limited, it may buy you a chance to survive in critical moments. Remember, no matter what, you must protect yourself."
Li Xi gripped the beaded necklace tightly, a warm feeling welling up inside her.
She looked at Qingran, her eyes slightly red, but she forced a smile: "Thank you, Qingran."
Qingran looked at her, her heart filled with reluctance and worry. The two gazed at each other in silence, a thousand words unspoken. Finally, Li Xi turned and stepped onto the path leading deeper into Dragon Hidden Valley, her figure gradually disappearing into the lush forest.
Qingran stood there, watching Li Xi leave until he was completely out of sight, before slowly turning around.
Meanwhile, as Li Xi stepped into Dragon Hidden Valley, the surrounding air seemed to become heavy.
She moved forward cautiously, each step filled with vigilance. The Hidden Spirit Pearl did indeed conceal her aura to some extent, but the oppressive aura emanating from the dragon clan still made her feel breathless.
As they ventured deeper, the faint roar of dragons could be heard, an ancient and powerful creature proclaiming its territory.
However, just as she was about to go further, a deep dragon roar suddenly rang out, making her eardrums ache.
Immediately afterwards, a huge azure dragon soared out of the darkness and blocked her path.
