She walked over to Gu Fan and sat down, placing the things she was holding on the table.
Gu Fan then realized that she had brought lunch.
"Why did you bring food with you?"
Jiang Yumeng said proudly, "Of course I brought you food. Aren't you on an IV drip? You definitely can't eat for a while, so I packed it up and brought it over."
Hearing this, Gu Fan was somewhat touched; the girl had even thought of this.
"Your stomach isn't feeling well, so I made you some lean meat porridge."
"Here, there's some hot soup. Have some to warm your stomach."
Jiang Yumeng arranged the lunch and handed a bowl of soup to Gu Fan.
The latter accepted it and said thank you.
Just then, the school doctor came over to check the IV drip and, at the end, remarked meaningfully, "Young man, your girlfriend is not only beautiful but also so considerate. You should cherish her!"
"Cough cough cough!"
Gu Fan had just swallowed a mouthful of hot porridge when he heard this and choked.
Jiang Yumeng's pretty face immediately turned red with embarrassment, and she lowered her head.
My heart was pounding, yet a sweet feeling melted within me.
The school doctor smiled slightly at the two shy people and walked away.
Gu Fan felt a little embarrassed. He hesitated for a moment and said to Jiang Yumeng, "Well, the doctor was just joking. Don't take it to heart."
Jiang Yumeng nodded shyly without answering.
Hmph, you idiot senior!
Just as the atmosphere between the two was becoming increasingly intimate, a hearty voice rang out: "Old Gu, dinner's ready!"
Liu Qian strode in carrying food, followed by Lin Jie.
Unfortunately, the two were stunned when they saw what was inside.
