On Saturday morning, Gu Fan was woken up by an alarm clock.
He rolled over and casually turned off the alarm clock, then lay motionless like a corpse.
A few minutes later, he raised his head blankly, his eyes too sleepy to open, his hair a mess like a bird's nest.
"Huh? Did the alarm clock go off just now? No, I didn't. Let me go back to sleep."
Less than ten seconds later, Gu Fan fell asleep again.
About ten minutes later, the alarm clock rang for the second time.

Just then, a phone call came in.
Gu Fan glanced at it; it was a QQ voice message, and the caller ID showed it was the class monitor.
"Hello."
"Uh, judging from your tone, are you still half asleep?"
On the other end of the phone, Liu Zixuan was both amused and exasperated.
After turning on the phone, Gu Fan seemed to perk up a bit, as if he remembered something, and asked, "Squad leader, you've all arrived?"
Today is the day their dormitories agreed to rehearse their skit.
Liu Zixuan nodded and said, "We're on our way. You should hurry up and finish washing up and having breakfast before coming over."
"OK."
After hanging up the phone, Gu Fan glanced at the dormitory. His senior had already left for work as usual, while Lin Jie and Liu Qian were still fast asleep.
He shouted.
The two finally woke up slowly.
After his sleepiness disappeared, Liu Qian said somewhat dejectedly, "Do we really have to go through all this trouble to make a skit? Wouldn't it be better to just sing a song and be done with it?"
"Old Liu, you didn't say that last night. When you heard you could work with a girl, you were the first to agree! We couldn't stop you!" Lin Jie gave him a disdainful look.
Liu Qian's face fell: "I regret it."
"Alright, hurry up and wash up. It starts tomorrow night, so please bear with us today." Gu Fan got out of bed and dressed, urging him on.
After washing up, the three of them went to the cafeteria and got two bread rolls to go, eating them as they walked.
Liu Zixuan and the others were already at the meeting point. There were four of them: Liu Zixuan, her three roommates, Wu Xin, Cai Ning, and Wang Fang.
Wu Xin is the tallest of the four girls, nearly 1.7 meters tall, almost as tall as Liu Qian, but her appearance is only average. Cai Ning is a little chubby and has sparse pimples on her face. She seems a bit introverted. Wang Fang's skin is not as fair as the others, but she is a cheerful and pragmatic girl.
"Now that everyone is here, let's familiarize ourselves with the program's flow."
Liu Zixuan handed out a printed copy of the script to everyone.
"Damn it! Why are my lines so short?"
Fu Beichen pinched Su Ruanruan's chin and said, "Woman, are you playing with fire?"
Liu Qian's lips twitched violently: "Damn, what the hell is this? Is it trying to play a domineering CEO?"
Lin Jie and the others laughed. They had to admit that the script was quite interesting, and if it were performed, it would be a comedy.
Everyone has their own role, and some of them are supporting characters who just need to sit there and watch the show, occasionally lending a hand.
Lin Jie has a few lines, but he improvised most of them, and he is quite satisfied with that.
Gu Fan and Liu Zixuan are the main characters in the skit.
Looking at his lines, his lips twitched. Why did he feel like he was being targeted?
Liu Zixuan looked at him: "How is it? Do you find it difficult? I can cut a few lines."
Gu Fan shook his head: "No need, let's leave it like this."
Liu Zixuan nodded and then said, "Then let's go through the script once first, and find problems as we go through it."
The group practiced until noon, and overall it went quite smoothly, except that their relationship still needed improvement.
Of course, this is just a short skit, so there's no need to take it too seriously.
Lin Jie also ordered milk tea during his break, which undoubtedly increased the girls' goodwill towards him.
"That's about it. Everyone, you've worked hard. Let's go eat. It's too hot this afternoon, so everyone should get some rest. We'll use another hour to consolidate our progress tonight."
Liu Zixuan smiled and said to the group.
Her script was almost covered in scribbles from her pen, which showed just how serious she was.
"I'll treat everyone to dinner!" Lin Jie finally had a chance to show off, and he waved his hand generously.

After the group entered the cafeteria and got their food, Liu Zixuan actually sat down next to Gu Fan.
The others exchanged knowing smiles.
Liu Zixuan's roommates all knew that Liu Zixuan liked Gu Fan. Of course, Gu Fan was so handsome that they liked him too, but they knew that he would never be interested in them. They were self-aware enough to know that.
Lin Jie and Liu Qian also wore expressions of wicked amusement.
Liu Zixuan said to Gu Fan, "Gu Fan, I think there are some aspects of your role that need improvement."
Gu Fan listened to her while eating, but neither of them did anything out of line. If Liu Zixuan had gotten any closer, Gu Fan would definitely have been unhappy, but since she was talking to him about serious matters, he didn't think much of it.
Of course, perhaps it was a cruel twist of fate, but Du Keke happened to witness this scene as she entered the cafeteria.
She glanced subconsciously in the direction of Gu Fan and the others, then looked away. Suddenly realizing something was wrong, she looked again abruptly.
