Chapter 4 The Cuteness of the Adorable Little Bunny

Gu Fan didn't receive a message from "Mengmeng Little Rabbit", so he went to the school gate to wait for her message.

As Gu Fan approached the school gate, he stopped. The area around him was filled with registration points for new students from various colleges. New students had to register here.

He had texted the other party two hours ago, but had not received a reply, which made him a little worried.

I was worried that the other person might have been delayed by something or stuck in traffic.

Of course, she was also worried that she might have been tricked, that the other person was just joking with her online and didn't want to see her in real life, and that she had already arrived but hadn't notified her.

Gu Fan's mind was in turmoil, filled with all sorts of wild thoughts.

Oh no, my online dating attempt has backfired!

Suddenly, someone patted him on the shoulder.

"Junior Brother Gu Fan?"

Gu Fan's heart skipped a beat, and he quickly turned around, but when he saw the other person's appearance, his excited heart gradually calmed down.

"Senior Sister Zhang?"

Standing in front of him was a girl, about 1.6 meters tall, wearing a white top and blue and white jeans. She had a good figure and a fairly pretty face.

This is a senior from his team named Zhang Cai.

Gu Fan joined the college volleyball team out of interest during his freshman year.

"Why are you here? And you seem a bit distracted. What's wrong?" Zhang Cai asked her junior with a smile.

She certainly knew Gu Fan. This junior was the most handsome guy on their team, very popular, and many girls were interested in him, including her.

What girl can resist a handsome guy?

Gu Fan smiled somewhat embarrassedly, "I'm here to pick up a friend. What about you, Senior Sister Zhang?"

Zhang Cai raised her arm, revealing her volunteer armband.

"Look, I'm here as a volunteer to welcome the new students."

She asked with some curiosity, "Are you picking up a friend? Your friend isn't a freshman girl, is she?"

"Yes."

"Hehe, it really is? Is she your girlfriend?" Zhang Cai teased him.

Oh dear, why do I suddenly feel a pang of sadness?

Gu Fan smiled sheepishly: "We're still just friends."

“That use of ‘still’ is quite profound, tsk tsk, if other girls knew this, they would all be heartbroken,” Zhang Cai sighed.

Gu Fan didn't dare to reply. It wasn't that he was narcissistic; since entering university, many girls had expressed their feelings for him, but Gu Fan had rejected them all.

They have all the teams' information.

"Okay, I'm busy now. By the way, is your friend from our department?" Zhang Cai asked with a smile.

"Yes, she is."

Gu Fan replied.

Zhang Cai patted Gu Fan on the shoulder and said earnestly, "Since that's the case, our team is preparing to recruit new members. You can let your friend join."

Gu Fan nodded: "I'll try my best."

He still hasn't met that online friend.

Zhang Cai left, and just then a male student arrived, so she immediately got busy.

Gu Fan looked away and was about to take out his phone to ask her if she had arrived.

Suddenly, something gently poked my waist.

Gu Fan turned around, but before he could see who it was, a faint floral fragrance wafted over, making him momentarily disoriented.

The girl in front of me was wearing a long dress, with her thick, black hair cascading down her back. Most of her features were covered by a mask, except for a pair of bright, expressive eyes that seemed to speak volumes. When her eyes curved into a smile, it was a sight to behold and put me in a good mood.

Despite being concealed by the long dress, the girl's figure was still clearly defined, and she exuded a special charm just standing there.

"Hello, classmate, is there anything I can help you with?"

Gu Fan asked politely.

Jiang Yumeng pouted under her mask.

This idiot, he's such a stranger to me, yet he was laughing so happily at other girls just now.

She's jealous!

She had noticed Gu Fan standing there earlier, and although she was going to reply to his message, she suddenly wanted to give him a surprise.

The next moment, Gu Fan turned around and started chatting with the girl.

This caught her somewhat off guard.

You bastard! You big jerk!

Thinking this, tears welled up in her eyes, even though she had never suffered any injustice since childhood.

"What's wrong, classmate? Is something wrong?" Seeing the girl's eyes were as red as a rabbit's, Gu Fan panicked.

What he fears most is girls crying.

Moreover, this girl gave him a sense of familiarity.

When he last heard "Cute Little Bunny" cry, he imagined her crying many times.

Strange, I found that feeling in the girl in front of me.

"No...it's okay, the sun is a bit strong," the girl said weakly.

She inwardly berated herself for being so pathetic, actually crying in front of the boy she liked.

Gu Fan smiled and said, "It's normal for summers in Guangcheng to be hot. Just spray some sunscreen when you go out."

"Um... senior, could you help me with my luggage?" Jiang Yumeng looked at Gu Fan with her big eyes.

The girl's eyes were so innocent that Gu Fan didn't dare to meet her gaze. His ears turned slightly red as he looked away, but his tone was still one of surprise: "You called me senior? Are you a freshman?"

Jiang Yumeng smiled and said, "That's right."

Gu Fan paused for a moment; the voice sounded so familiar.

He looked at the girl in front of him and felt an urge to ask her something.

However, I'm still afraid it might be a bit too abrupt.

He then struggled with the decision. He still had to pick up "Little Rabbit," so how could he help other girls? What if she arrived and couldn't find him?
