on Monday.
At 8:30 a.m., students from various dormitories marched out of their rooms in large numbers, carrying all sorts of exam tools.
On their way to the exam hall, some people looked nervous and muttered to themselves, as if they were memorizing something; others were full of confidence and walked briskly, as if this exam was just a small test.
Gu Fan was the top student in the class. He always ranked at the top in every exam and homework. A mere final exam was no challenge for him.
Liu Qian, on the other hand, was trying to cram at the last minute, constantly scrolling through the exam questions on his phone.
This exam is closed-book, and it's in Lao Deng's class, so the difficulty level has increased several notches. If I don't study hard, I'll probably fail.
Liu Qian was a bit lacking in chemistry. If you chatted with him about the origin of life, he could talk about everything from ancient times to his bed, but if you gave him a chemistry exam, it would only test his eyesight.
"Old Liu, stop looking, there's a girl." Lin Jie's voice came from the side.
Liu Qian looked up once, then looked away.
Girls? Women will only slow down his sword-drawing speed!
Can the girl help him avoid failing his exams?
Gu Fan clicked his tongue and said, "Old Liu's student ID number is so different from ours, he can probably only copy the class monitor's."
They sat in order of their student ID numbers during the exam, and the person in front of Liu Qian was the class monitor.
Liu Qian put away his phone, a confident look on his face: "Don't panic, what do I, Liu, have to fear from a mere exam?"
When I arrived at the classroom, the proctor was already sitting on the podium.
To their surprise, the proctor on the podium was a stunningly beautiful woman!
Such a young and beautiful teacher?
The teacher was wearing tight black pants, tall boots, and a short down jacket. This outfit made her look tall and slender with long, well-proportioned legs. She wore a white Harley-Davidson hat and light makeup. Out of a possible 10 points for looks, she would score over 9.
And she's the mature, sophisticated type.
A hint of doubt flashed across Gu Fan's eyes; he had never seen this young teacher before.
Without much thought, the group took their seats.
"Students, please put any items that are not related to the exam on this table."
When most of the people had arrived, the beautiful teacher spoke.
As soon as he finished speaking, the students sprang into action.
"Hey, who is that teacher?" Gu Fan asked Lin Jie, puzzled.
Don't ask him why he asked Lin Jie; this guy has plenty of free time and has already figured out the list of beautiful girls in the school.
Lin Jie whispered, "You don't know her? She's the only teacher on the school beauty list, her name is Liu Qinyan, and she's said to teach Mao Zedong Thought. Her classes are always full."
Gu Fan was somewhat surprised. Such a beautiful female teacher was actually teaching Mao Zedong Thought? It didn't seem like it at all!
Soon, the exam papers were handed out, and the atmosphere in the room immediately became somber.
Gu Fan glanced at the exam paper. He would spend two minutes browsing the entire paper before each exam, and only begin writing after he had thought about what he was doing.
There were two proctors for the exam. The one in the back was a male teacher who wore glasses, had a detached look, and basically didn't pay attention to anything.
The chief proctor was Liu Qinyan, who was also proctoring for the first time. Her small face had a serious expression as she scanned the crowd.
Perhaps it was her nature, but her gaze lingered on Gu Fan for a moment, a hint of surprise in her eyes.
What a handsome guy.
However, she was only surprised for a moment before quickly looking away.
With about forty minutes left in the exam, Gu Fan stood up.
Immediately, everyone looked at him.
Their eyes were filled with envy. A top student is a top student indeed. And that's it?
Gu Fan walked towards the podium and handed the test paper to the teacher.
Liu Qinyan was taken aback, then asked in surprise, "Finished writing?"
Gu Fan nodded.
Liu Qinyan didn't say anything, but glanced at the test paper. She was surprised to find that the test paper was already full, and the handwriting was very beautiful.
She herself teaches Mao Zedong Thought and enjoys calligraphy, so when she saw Gu Fan's handwriting, she immediately knew that this boy also knew calligraphy!
This discovery surprised her.
"You know calligraphy?"
She asked another question.
The gazes of the crowd below immediately turned strange.
Just hand in your paper, why are you chatting?
Seeing this, class monitor Liu Zixuan bit her lip, then lowered her head and continued taking the exam, trying to avoid seeing it.
Lin Jie and Liu Qian looked at Gu Fan with eyes full of admiration.
Is this what being handsome is all about?
Faced with Liu Qinyan's question, Gu Fan was somewhat surprised, but still nodded: "I've learned a little bit."
Liu Qinyan nodded: "Okay, you can leave now."
Gu Fan nodded, and after collecting his belongings, he left the examination room.
Liu Qinyan looked down at the name.
"Gu Fan..."
As Gu Fan handed in his paper, more and more people began to hand it in. Lin Jie had already copied and written it, and soon after Gu Fan left, he handed it in.
Beside him, Liu Qian gritted his teeth and paid as well.
He still has two major questions left to answer, but he should be able to pass the rest of the course.
Outside the examination hall, Gu Fan and Lin Jie were already waiting for Liu Qian.
"How was it?" Lin Jie asked curiously.
Liu Qian breathed a sigh of relief: "Whether it passes or not depends on Lao Deng. I've done my best."
"It's over, let's go, have some rice," Gu Fan called out.
"Hey Gu, you're really something else, you even know a beautiful teacher." Liu Qian nudged Gu Fan with his elbow.
The latter rolled his eyes: "I don't know her, she's the one who asked me the question."
