Chapter 95 Lunar New Year's Eve

Hearing Gu Fan's words, Sister Tang nodded: "Yes, she sent me photos a few days ago. Look."

As she spoke, Sister Tang handed her phone to Gu Fan.

Gu Fan took the photo and immediately spotted Li Qiuxiang in it.

She stood on a large bridge with a lake behind her. A gentle breeze ruffled her hair, and a few strands of hair covered her cheeks, but could not hide the girl's radiant smile.

She's still the same Qiu Xiang, though she looks a little thinner, but she's much happier than before.

Upon seeing this, Gu Fan also revealed a smile.

He knew that she was telling them in this way that she was happy.

Gu Fan handed the phone to Sister Tang and said with a smile, "She's much happier than before."

Sister Tang smiled and nodded: "At least there are no constraints from various factors around me."

Gu Fan stood up and stretched: "Then we can't let her down. This flower shop will definitely be there for her when she comes back."

After chatting with Sister Tang for a while, Gu Fan got busy.

Since there were two people in the shop, Sister Tang took charge of the front desk, while Gu Fan carefully observed each bouquet of flowers, just like when Li Qiuxiang was there.

There are specific requirements for opening a flower shop; you need to maintain the flowers at all times.

Gu Fan carefully trimmed the flower branches, his eyes focused, each cut as if he were sculpting a work of art.

At that moment, a young woman walked into the store.

Her gaze fell on the beautiful flowers, but after browsing around, she still couldn't decide what to buy.

Sister Tang warmly greeted the customer and asked her what kind of bouquet she needed.

The woman thought for a moment and said, "I want to give this to my best friend. She has just been through some difficult times, and I hope this bouquet can bring her some warmth and strength."

Upon hearing this, Gu Fan's heart stirred.

The woman's words reminded him of Li Qiuxiang.

So he walked up to the woman and suggested, "Why not choose sunflowers? They represent sunshine and resilience, which perfectly expresses your blessings to your friend."

Upon hearing this, the woman's eyes lit up, and she readily agreed, expressing her gratitude for Gu Fan's recommendation.

Gu Fan carefully selected several of the most vibrant sunflowers, paired them with some green leaves and small flowers, and arranged them into a beautiful bouquet.

After seeing the customer off, Sister Tang praised him in surprise, "You're doing great, you're becoming more and more like a boss."

Gu Fan smiled modestly.

Around noon, the two ordered takeout and ate it inside the flower shop.

After finishing his meal, Gu Fan received a call from his mother.

When the call connected, Gu's mother had a smiling face: "Son, have you had lunch yet?"

Gu Fan nodded: "We just finished eating. Mom, have you eaten yet?"

"Of course, your dad's not here, so I'll just make do with whatever I have."

Gu Fan nodded.

"By the way, you should be on holiday by now, right?" Mrs. Gu suddenly asked.

Gu Fan nodded: "Yes, I just released it, so I won't be coming back for now. I still have things to do here."

"Oh, what about Mengmeng?" Mrs. Gu asked.

"She went home."

Gu Fan replied.

"What?" Mrs. Gu's smile visibly vanished. "She's home? No, you're not bringing her back?"

Gu Fan smiled helplessly: "How can I take her? Her family wants her to go home, and I can't get away from her either."

"Tsk, what a waste of your expression. I thought you'd bring my daughter-in-law home during your vacation." Gu's mother looked at her son with disdain.

Gu Fan's lips twitched. Well, so his mother called just to talk about her future daughter-in-law.

Why do I feel like my status has suddenly dropped so much?

Then, Mrs. Gu said with a serious expression, "Just take good care of yourself while you're away. Oh, and you absolutely must bring my daughter-in-law back for the New Year!"

Gu Fan smiled wryly: "Okay, okay, I'll try my best, alright?"

"That's more like it." Mrs. Gu hung up the phone with satisfaction.

Gu Fan sighed, thinking: This is really difficult.

After resting at the flower shop for a while, Gu Fan got up and went to work.

Nothing unexpected happened that day, until evening when Jiang Yumeng sent her a message to let her know that she had arrived home.

After taking a shower, Gu Fan lay on the bed. In the video, Jiang Yumeng, with her long hair flowing down her shoulders, sat in front of the dressing table.

There were still a few drops of water on the girl's face, as if she had just washed her face.

"How's business today, senior?" Jiang Yumeng asked with a smile, resting her chin on her hands.

Gu Fan nodded: "It's alright, you've finished showering?"

Jiang Yumeng shook her head and said, "No, I just finished eating."

As she spoke, she suddenly stood up and twirled in front of Gu Fan: "Does it look good?"

She was wearing a sheer nightgown, through which you could see her white undergarments. Her snow-white skin was faintly visible beneath the sheer fabric, making her exceptionally alluring.

Gu Fan said in a serious tone, "Junior Sister Jiang, are you trying to seduce me late at night?"

Jiang Yumeng giggled and said, "Hehe, I'm just tempting you, but what if I'm not by your side, senior?"

Her eyes were full of cunning.

Gu Fan pretended to be fierce and said, "It's okay. I have a very good memory. I'll pay you back with interest next time we meet."

Upon hearing this, a look of panic flashed across Jiang Yumeng's face. She quickly sat up straight, even more upright than a primary school student.

"Senior, I was wrong."

Gu Fan smiled and said, "No, you are not wrong, you are right."

The girl's delicate collarbone was exposed to Gu Fan's view, and Gu Fan immediately felt his mouth go dry.
