With the new students enrolled, the school resumed normal operations.
September weather is still in the high-temperature zone. Under such weather conditions, students are reluctant to go to class because of the air conditioning in their dormitories.

Lin Jie walked out of the cafeteria and went straight up the stairs.

Chu Lian'er looked at him: "Is there anything else?"
Lin Jie laughed and said, "You should eat with me, I can't finish it all by myself."
Chu Lian'er immediately looked troubled: "I still have work to do, stop messing around!"
She glanced at the fried chicken. Although she really wanted to eat it, she knew she was still working part-time. If she tried to cheat, the manager might fire her!
She was already very grateful to have found this part-time job.
Ignoring her refusal, Lin Jie beckoned the store manager over.

The store manager said in a serious tone, "I'll give you an extra fifty yuan!"
He could tell that the boy liked his employee, and he didn't mind helping him find love.
When money was mentioned, Chu Lian'er became somewhat tempted.
For her, fifty yuan was enough to cover her food expenses for three days!
After the store manager left, Chu Lian'er sat down opposite Lin Jie with a helpless expression, glaring at him angrily.
