Tamaki Station.
As Gu Fan followed the crowd out of the dark tunnel, he felt a wave of warmth as the sunlight shone on him.
"I'm back."
Gu Fan smiled easily.
The weather in December was already very cold; you could see the mist when you breathed it.
Just as Gu Fan was about to hail a taxi, a surprised voice rang out: "Cousin!"
Gu Fan was taken aback. He looked in the direction of the sound and saw Bai Lingyu waving at him from a distance.
Gu Fan walked over and asked, "Why are you here?"
Bai Lingyu chuckled: "Of course I'm here to pick you up! How about that? Surprised? Unexpected?"
Gu Fan was both amused and exasperated: "How did you know I'd be back at this time today?"
Bai Lingyu chuckled, "Of course my cousin-in-law told me! That's why I came here by myself!"
She handed him the milk tea she had bought in advance: "Here! This is for you."
"Thanks."
After thanking him, Gu Fan took the milk tea and took a sip. The next second, he gasped, "Wait, you bought iced milk tea in the middle of winter?"
Bai Lingyu blinked: "Oh, it tastes better when it's iced, isn't it refreshing to drink this in winter?"

Bai Lingyu then came out and hugged Gu Fan's arm, saying with some confusion, "My dad is really strange. He just had to shave his head. It doesn't look good at all."
Gu Fan smiled upon hearing this.
It seems that Bai Lingyu is unaware of her father's situation, which is quite a good secret.
However, he didn't expose him, but instead laughed and said, "Isn't this pretty good too? Cool."
Bai Lingyu rolled her eyes at him: "Cousin, what kind of taste do you have? Where is he handsome? He looks like a gangster!"

Gu's mother came out of the kitchen and, upon seeing Gu Fan, instinctively looked towards the doorway: "What's wrong? Why isn't Mengmeng here?"
Gu Fan explained, "She's on vacation and going home. She'll come again next time."
Mrs. Gu said with some resentment, "I told you to bring her over more often, but you wouldn't listen! If she doesn't come next time, don't come back either."
Gu Fan's lips twitched: "Mom, am I still your biological son?"
"You brat! What are you saying?"
Old Gu came out and glared at Gu Fan upon hearing this.
Gu Fan was speechless. Well, he realized that his status in this family had already dropped to the bottom.
My second uncle's family came to visit, and Aunt Gu prepared a table full of dishes. The whole family enjoyed a lively meal together.
"I heard Xiao Fan is already engaged?"
My second uncle suddenly asked with a smile.
Gu Fan nodded: "Yes."
Bai Lingyu glanced at the ring in Gu Fan's hand.
She noticed this when she left the station.
My cousin already has a fiancée.
My second uncle said with a smile, "Congratulations! I heard from your mother that you're getting married at the end of the year."
Gu Fan smiled slightly: "Yes, I hope my second uncle can come and have a wedding banquet then."
"Hahaha! Don't worry, your second uncle won't stand on ceremony, I'll definitely come!"
Mother Gu said with a smile, "We'll set up a few tables here too. Lin has already taken care of that."
It has to be said that they were relatively relaxed in-laws, as the wedding arrangements were handled entirely by the in-laws, and they could only do their part.
Gu Fan nodded: "Mom and Dad, you'll have to come to Beijing with me then."
Old Gu and his mother nodded.
After dinner, Bai Lingyu barged into Gu Fan's room.
"Cousin, I've already cleaned it for you. You can move in right away."
Bai Lingyu said, as if seeking credit.
Gu Fan was somewhat surprised: "You didn't actually sleep here, did you?"
He found his room to be quite clean, and there was a lingering fragrance in the air.
Bai Lingyu nodded, her face slightly flushed: "I...I just took a nap, cousin, you won't be angry, will you?"
Gu Fan remained silent.
How should he remind this girl that boys and girls are different?
"Alright, thank you for cleaning, but I'm staying here tonight. If you want to stay overnight, please go to the guest room."
Bai Lingyu pouted: "I can't stay. My dad won't let me stay overnight."
My second uncle really made a brilliant decision!

Nothing was said that night.
When Gu Fan woke up the next day, the sky was overcast.
It was cold outside, but the heating was on inside, and the windowpanes were covered in condensation.
Gu Fan went out for a morning run wearing only a thin jacket.
Even in winter, nothing could deter his determination to exercise.
Okay, actually, he's been producing too much lately, and he's a bit weak.
