Chapter 6

Lin Qingyi took a deep breath, checked his condition in front of the mirror, and then lined up and followed everyone to the outside of the stage.

Soon, all members were in place.

Everyone had their appearance number taped to their waist. Lin Qingyi looked left and right and soon found Tan Xiaoran who was standing in the crowd looking for her.

Tan Xiaoran's eyes were confused, obviously he hadn't seen her yet.

Lin Qingyi pushed through the crowd and walked over, patting her on the shoulder. Tan Xiaoran turned her head and saw her, and the tension on her face eased a little.

Following the instructions on the radio, everyone took pictures of the waiting line in order.

Soon, Team 1 began to enter the stage.

This audition is different from previous ones. In the past, contestants would usually go in and find a seat by themselves, and the mentors would appear last. But this time, as soon as they entered, they would face the mentors who would accompany them for the next three months.

So the pressure is extremely great.

Tan Xiaoran beside him kept gasping for breath nervously. Lin Qingyi was a little worried about her, so he reached out and held her hand.

It's cold.

Lin Qingyi knew that it was useless to say comforting words at this time. Tan Xiaoran herself might not be that nervous, and it was more of a physical reaction, so he could only squeeze her hand tightly to calm her down.

The number they drew was 23.

It was in the middle, so Lin Qingyi was not that nervous.

What she worries about most is being too far forward or too far back. Being in the middle would put much less pressure.

Although these are all her interview experiences, I don’t know if they are useful here.

Time passed minute by minute, and finally it was the 23rd.

Lin Qingyi felt that Tan Xiaoran beside her was shaking all over. She was worried that Tan Xiaoran would fall down due to nervousness, so she did not let go of her hand, but held it even tighter.

The two of them walked down the aisle hand in hand.

The door at the end of the corridor was their destination.

Lin Qingyi pulled her and walked to the front door. After taking a deep breath, he looked at Tan Xiaoran.

Seeing the other party nodded at him, Lin Qingyi let go of her hand, put both hands on the door, and pushed open the door called hope.

The two of them walked in as calmly as possible. Lin Qingyi usually didn't watch talent shows, so he didn't know who the mentors sitting inside were. He could only quickly pull Tan Xiaoran to bow and say hello to the mentors.

The mentor didn’t seem as scary as I had imagined, of course, compared to the group of lawyers I had interviewed at the law firm before.

They first introduced themselves. She and Tan Xiaoran were from different places and had not signed contracts with any company, so the instructors asked how they knew each other. Tan Xiaoran's voice was a little trembling when she introduced herself, so Lin Qingyi took the initiative to answer, "Xiaoran and I go to the same school."

Lin Qingyi said this because she didn't want to reveal the school she attended, but it was obvious that the instructors wanted to dig deeper. After she finished speaking, they immediately asked what school they were from.

Lin Qingyi hesitated for a moment and then told them their home school.

Since she wanted to study law, she naturally chose the China University of Political Science and Law.

Lin Qingyi's words caused an uproar at the scene.

I didn't expect that such a highly educated student would participate in this kind of talent show.

Lin Qing saw the instructor opposite her open her mouth, as if she wanted to ask something, but after looking at the photography team behind her, she closed her mouth and let them go down and sit down.

There was no one they knew in front of them, so they just picked a seat in the middle and sat down. There was no one around them. The moment Lin Qingyi sat down, she felt much more relaxed.

Not long after the two sat down, the next group came in, but this group of instructors did not ask them many questions and left quickly.

Lin Qingyi was a little confused. They had not signed a contract with the company, but they got a very long shot.

There were some small cakes on the long table where they sat, which could help them fill their stomachs, after all, dinner tonight would not be available so soon.

Tan Xiaoran ate two pieces of cake and felt much better now. She understood Lin Qingyi's puzzled expression, came over mysteriously, and whispered in her ear: "It must be because our 11 is so beautiful."

Lin Qingyi patted her a little embarrassedly, and seeing that she looked normal again and was in the mood to make a joke with her, he felt relieved.

Lin Qingyi scanned the room from front to back and counted silently in his mind: 96 seats.

As time passed, they soon arrived at group 40, and the last seat left was the one next to her.

Lin Qingyi hadn't seen Ning Cong'an yet, and he understood what was going on, with a hint of anticipation on his face.

She was really curious about Ning Cong'an.

Soon, the door was pushed open, and Ning Cong'an walked in alone, but his aura was no less than that of many people.

Lin Qingyi poked Tan Xiaoran and said, "This is the good-looking No. 89 I told you about before."

After hearing what she said, Tan Xiaoran quickly put down the cake and looked up.

But soon, she withdrew her gaze with some confusion, and then looked at Lin Qingyi.

It looks good, but...

Tan Xiaoran looked at Lin Qingyi with admiration and felt a little puzzled. To her, Lin Qingyi was obviously more handsome.

But Lin Qingyi himself never realized it.

The instructors simply asked her a few questions, but what they didn't expect was that Ning Cong'an had actually been in the same school as Lin Qingyi and the others.

Tan Xiaoran was also a little surprised when she heard this. She came over and whispered, "It's actually my senior sister. This shouldn't be the case. She's so pretty, how could there be no news at all?"

Tan Xiaoran’s favorite thing to do is to browse campus posts. She knows all the good-looking ones, even those who are several years older than her. How could she not have an impression of Ning Cong'an?

She was a little bit incredulous and wanted to pick up her phone to start investigating right away, but unfortunately, her phone had been taken away before she entered.

It must be time, so the instructors didn't ask any more questions and let Ning Cong'an come down and take a seat.

She glanced around and soon met a pair of sparkling eyes. Next to her was the last empty seat.

Ning Cong'an remembered her.

Lin Qingyi felt a little embarrassed when she saw the other person staring at her, but as the other person sat down next to her, Lin Qingyi quickly realized that the other person might not be looking at her, but at the seat next to her.

She only felt her face getting hotter, but this time it was not because of shyness, but because she was too narcissistic.

After Ning Cong'an sat down, the broadcast started.

"All 96 trainees have officially arrived."

The cold voice stopped after saying this.

Suddenly, there were noises coming from both sides, and soon, the surrounding walls collapsed like cardboard boxes.

The speed was so fast that some members screamed in fear from the sudden collapse sound. Wall dust filled the surroundings, making it impossible to see the scenery outside.

But before long, a cluster of red light shot straight through from outside, followed by more light. Dust danced in the light, creating a sense of mystery. Lin Qingyi's belated excitement followed the light.

Then, Lin Qingyi heard the sound of the fan.

A strong wind blew, sweeping away all the dust around.

Looking out along the rays of light, a huge screen appeared.

They are now actually in the center of the stage, and the so-called outer areas of the stage are all built.

Tan Xiaoran beside him exclaimed "Wow", while Lin Qingyi was a little stunned.

The members looked around excitedly. Apart from the screen, the rest was filled with seats.

Starting from number 96, they are stacked up layer by layer, and the highest center position is number 1.

Position No. 1 is decorated with all kinds of luxurious things. At first glance, you might think it is the emperor's chair.

The six seats surrounding it are decorated a level higher than other places.

All this shows that this show only has 7 debut spots, and the members only found out today.

After seeing the No. 1 position, the members all stared at that position intently, and Lin Qingyi was no exception.

Everyone comes here just for those seven positions.

Then, the instructor in front picked up the microphone and clapped it.

All the members turned their gazes from their seats to the instructor.

At some point, the six mentors had all stood up.

The first person to speak was the instructor standing on the far left. Lin Qingyi didn't know them and just hoped that there would be a moment for the instructors to introduce themselves.

As expected, the instructor smiled and said, "To prevent any members from not recognizing us, let's introduce ourselves first."

The active member sitting in the front row exclaimed, "How could anyone not know the mentors? How modest!"

The instructors also laughed, but Lin Qingyi touched her face awkwardly. She didn't notice that Ning Cong'an, who was sitting behind her, also touched his face at the same time.

The instructor on the far left smiled and said, "Okay, let me start with the self-introductions."

"My name is Ke Jiyao, you can just call me Yaoyao. I will be in charge of your dance from now on."

When Lin Qingyi heard the dance, his eyes lit up.

Then the microphone was passed to the next instructor: "My name is Fang Yingrong, and I'm also your dance teacher."

Fang Yingrong looked a little older and didn't seem easy to get along with, but Lin Qing had long been accustomed to this kind of advisor. Her previous graduation thesis advisor was also like this.

The microphone was passed around continuously. The next two speakers were Tao Ruiyun and Zhong Conglu, vocal instructors. Lin Qingyi felt a faint sense of guilt when he saw these two instructors.

I hope she doesn’t get beaten to death when she hears her singing next time.

The last two are naturally rap teachers, one is Zhou Binglu and the other is Jin Yan.

It was obvious that when these two introduced themselves, Tan Xiaoran next to them was much more excited than before.

After the self-introductions, it was time for dinner.

Dinner doesn’t last long, the main event is coming next.

Because the next step is to choose seats and prepare for the first performance.
