The white-skinned man shouted and threw away the gun in his hand. He raised his palm up to the sky and a brilliant flame burst out from his palm.
At first it was just one, but it instantly extended into a whole, like an umbrella covering the white-skinned man and the head of the person he saved, blocking the attack of the zombie bird.
Lin Man's eyes widened suddenly and he almost forgot to breathe.
Supernatural, superpowers!
The ability to emit fire!
This was her first time seeing the legendary superpowers, and they were indeed very cool, much cooler than the superpowers she was still trying to figure out, but which would have no use even if she figured them out.
The white-skinned man ran a few steps along the flame barrier, threw the injured person into a small waterway well, and then returned to cover others.
The black-skinned man also stopped shooting and raised his hand. Lin Man saw his palm gradually glowing, and then a ball of something shot out. No matter how the zombie bird dodged, the ball of something kept chasing it, and finally blew off one of the zombie bird's wings with a bang.
What kind of supernatural power is this?
The dark-skinned man's face suddenly turned two shades paler. While the zombie bird stumbled into a building, he flew into a helicopter. With a clanging sound, the helicopter's blades began to turn faster and faster. He piloted the helicopter and fired at the windows of the building.
After a burst of shooting, everything returned to silence, with only stone chips and dust falling down, and the people below were sent into the sewer one by one.
Just when Lin Man was breathing a sigh of relief for them, a dark shadow rushed out of the building.
Lin Man's heart tightened. He saw clearly that it was still the zombie bird. Its wings that had been blown off had grown back. It seemed to be extremely angry and crashed into the helicopter with a loud roar.
The helicopter was knocked askew, and it chased after it, grabbed the tail of the helicopter with its claws, swung the entire helicopter up, and then threw it far away. The helicopter flew away like a sack.
Lin Man was stunned.
Is this a zombie bird? It looks like a powerful demon that has emerged from the abyss!
She heard the clanging sound of a helicopter hitting something in the distance, and saw the zombie bird still chasing after it as if it was still unsatisfied. Thinking of the dark-skinned man who didn't talk much but looked quite reliable, she didn't hesitate and turned around and ran in the direction where the helicopter was thrown away.
The helicopter was thrown into a two-story house, and the already dilapidated house collapsed instantly. The zombie bird angrily crashed into the ruins, blowing away obstacles such as concrete slabs.
Lin Man smelled an increasingly strong smell of gasoline, mixed with a bloody smell. Seeing no movement in the ruins, she felt something was wrong. She crawled in through the back door of the house, which still retained its door frame shape, and saw the helicopter, which was crushed under many stone slabs and somewhat deformed.
The worst thing is that the fuel tank is leaking!
Lin Man ran over and saw the dark-skinned man with blood all over his face, unconscious in the driver's seat. She pushed open the deformed door and sniffed for breath. He was still alive, so she wanted to get him down.
The hairs on her back suddenly stood up, Lin Man shuddered, and turned around abruptly. The zombie bird was standing in the broken corner of the roof on the second floor, staring at her with two dark gray eyes, which was quite weird.
Then he pounced down.
Lin Man immediately retreated into the helicopter.
The zombie bird came over and pecked wildly, but Lin Man had removed the door on this side. She grabbed the black skin with one hand and struggled to use the deformed space to retreat from the driver's seat into the cabin.
The zombie bird followed in and stared at Lin Man and the other man with a fierce look.
Gasoline was still gurgling, and the space was filled with its unique smell. It could ignite with just a tiny spark, just like the situation at this moment that was on the verge of breaking out.
Lin Man glanced at the exit on the side of the cabin that was blocked by a stone slab, and suddenly thought of a solution.
Then her foot stepped on a pile of supply packages.
She felt a stir in her heart and thought that she was a greedy person, because at such a tense and dangerous moment, she actually thought it would be a pity not to take away these supplies.
She thought so and did so. She then stretched her hand back from her squatting position, touched the package and put it in.
She let the little spiritual energy she had spread, and all the packages that the spiritual energy touched were collected into her space.
The zombie bird also noticed that a bunch of things disappeared inexplicably, and its action of pouncing down paused.
Lin Man was sweating, and gave birth to a zombie bird with emotions and wisdom, hehe...
She suddenly supported the stone slab blocking the hatch with one hand, pulled it back suddenly, and the next moment covered the zombie bird's head with it. She grabbed the black skin and jumped out of the hatch, carrying him and running desperately in the ruins. When she was about to run out of the dilapidated house, the zombie bird that was struggling in the helicopter was about to run out.
Lin Man asked the manager in the space for a small stick that had just been taken out of the fire and was still burning, and threw it towards the helicopter, quietly throwing it on the gasoline that was leaking all over the ground.
Amid the loud explosion, Lin Man also rushed out carrying someone.
"Cough, cough, cough!" The scorching flames exploded, and Lin Man rolled on the ground, feeling as if her skin was being burned. Flying stones and other things hit her madly, and there were also surging debris, smoke and dust...
Lin Man looked back at the burning rubble, fearing that another flaming shadow would run out of it. Fortunately, there was no movement this time.
She breathed a sigh of relief and was about to go look at the black man who fell to the side when her brother, the white man, arrived with hurried footsteps.
"Ajian!" He called out his companion's name and quickly checked him over to make sure he was still alive. The injury on his head didn't look serious, but there was a lot of bleeding.
He finally felt relieved and thanked Lin Man: "Thank you...it's you!"
Lin Man patted the debris off his body and stood up, his whole body covered in dust. He smiled at him and said, "I didn't go far. I came back when I found out about the situation." He explained why he showed up so coincidentally.
"That zombie bird?"
"I don't know, but it should have been in the helicopter when it exploded."
The white-skinned man immediately looked towards the fire with vigilance, then carefully carried his companion on his shoulders. "I'll take care of my companion first. You can go to the sewer with me for a while. I'll come back later to see if the bird is dead."
