Chapter Ninety: The Doomed Couple
Two weeks later, I returned to the office. I simply asked Chu Zhen to arrange a desk for me outside. Work is work; before, it was because of limited resources, but now I had to act like a professional and couldn't be treated specially. Chu Zhen respected my wishes and let me sit at the workstation right next to his office, so we could still see each other when we looked up.
