Chapter Thirty: Public Confession
"Lin Dang, after all this time, can't you tell I like you?" Chu Zhen suddenly said. For a moment, I was stunned. So that's why he said I was blind.
“We first met here on June 10th last year, and today marks exactly one year,” Chu Zhen said. I had absolutely no recollection of the date when Chu Zhen and I first met.
"My door lock code is 0610, my phone code is 0610, didn't you ever think about what that meant?"
I was stunned. I thought it was Chu Zhen's birthday, but I later found out it wasn't. I thought it must be a meaningful day, but it didn't seem to be related to me.

"Um, did I agree to be your girlfriend?" I asked hesitantly.

"I don't seem to remember agreeing to that!" I said fearlessly.
"Mmm~" Chu Zhen kissed my lips, a light touch, but my heart was already pounding and my face turned red to the roots of my ears.
"Since you didn't push me away, I'll take that as a yes. Hurry up and eat, girlfriend, don't keep everyone waiting too long!" Chu Zhen said, then grabbed her notebook and went to the conference room, leaving me completely bewildered. What happened? My first kiss, which I'd kept for twenty-four years, was gone just like that?

The child does exist, but we adopted him together. We don't have the adoption rights yet; he's in a children's welfare home. We only visit him during our breaks. If you have time, you can visit the children at the welfare home." The entire conference room fell silent as Chu Zhen said this.
"Okay, let's begin the meeting!"
The meeting was brief and unstructured. I understood that Chu Zhen's main reason for calling the meeting was to address the rumors from yesterday, and I was sure there would be new developments today! But suddenly, I didn't care what others thought or said. I only cared that Chu Zhen declared in front of everyone that I was his girlfriend—a public declaration.
Huang Yanyan said that a man who publicly confesses his love in a meeting is practically a national treasure, let alone a man who is so talented and handsome.
Chu Zhen's meeting was a great success. People stopped gossiping about me and even started asking me how I got together with Chu Zhen. Chu Zhen was no longer called the "Demon King." Just like Huang Yanyan said, it's rare to find a man who can openly confess his feelings, and the fact that he adopted a child from an orphanage shows that he has a lot of love in him.

However, Chu Zhen said that being able to become my boyfriend was a blessing from his good deeds in his past life!
