A sincere statement of gratitude for the launch

I just got off work. I wrote more than a thousand words during my free time at work during the day. I revised and supplemented it on the bus and posted the previous chapter.

As a social animal, this is probably my daily coding state.

I'm not trying to be pitiful.

Because life is not easy for everyone.

The editor said last week that it will be on the shelves this Friday, which is tomorrow. I don’t know if it will be at midnight or noon.

To be honest, I was panicked.

It seems that Qidian has something called "shelf syndrome?"

Maybe.

This is the first time I write a thank you note for a product being put on the shelves, and I feel a little excited for some reason.

As a new book by a new author, it has been recommended by the website all the way, and has been listed on Sanjiang and strongly recommended. It currently has 24,000 collections. I feel very satisfied with such achievements.

Set another goal, I want to get the boutique badge.

I dream about it.

I'm really not getting too cocky, I just feel that the plot is getting better and better, and it will get smoother as it goes on.

Of course, it still depends on updates and word count.

If 500,000 words isn’t enough, then try 1,000,000 words. If 1,000,000 words isn’t enough, then try 2,000,000 words.

Hopefully it can be achieved before the book is finished.

If a person has no dreams, what is the difference between living and being a salted fish?

Then, returning to the book itself, I would like to explain a few points.

First.

Extra.

Many readers have complained about the "ten years of being a supporting role".

You can search an encyclopedia and find the keyword "跑龙套" (running role), which is defined to include extras and special actors.

Many words, in the context of common usage, have formed some ambiguity in the common usage, which is where I had not considered carefully.

I would like to explain it again in detail and hope that readers can understand.

second.

Self-entertainment.

Some people commented that the author was just entertaining himself.

I feel that if I can’t get excited myself, whether it’s a book or a chapter or a paragraph, then it’s even less likely that the readers will get excited.

Please allow me to be shameless and take these two words as a compliment.

Writing a book is really a test of my mentality. Fortunately, I am naturally optimistic and strong, otherwise I would have become autistic long ago.

third.

About the original plot.

Some people say it’s great, some say it’s awkward, and some say it’s not engaging…

As I said, being misunderstood is the fate of the expresser. Writing stories for mass entertainment is inherently difficult to satisfy everyone. No one is worth a penny and it is impossible to please everyone.

I can only try to strike a balance.

To be honest, writing original work is much more difficult than plagiarizing, but I don’t think it is a thankless task.

Write with your heart and readers will see it.

Exchange sincerity for sincerity.

I won’t explain the above three points in the future, and then let’s talk about...update?

You can also see that many updates are at one or two in the morning, or even three or four in the morning.

Nothing else.

One is working 996 during the day and occasionally 007.

Second, it is midnight when inspiration is most abundant, the mind is calmest, and the words written are most appropriate.

However, once it is on the shelves, updates are bound to burst out.

I thought about it carefully. Apart from working hours, I can get up an hour earlier in the morning, skip the lunch break at noon, and go to bed later at night.

I can probably spare four more hours every day, so it’s no problem to write two more chapters.

Therefore, the update rhythm after the release should be guaranteed to be 6,000 words a day, and if everything goes smoothly, 10,000 words is possible.

As a collector, every time I see that label [Continuous updates for 30 days, 45 days, 60 days...], I feel secretly happy. My goal is [Continuous updates for 365 days]...

Moreover, I must get the badge for [updating 10,000 words a day for ten consecutive days].

So the update is here...

Tomorrow is Friday.

Then the weekend.

In three days, I solemnly promise that even if I have to take leave, I will write at least twenty chapters. If I can't do it, you can do whatever you want with me.

I'm going to sit down in front of the computer and never get up again!

I want to connect with the keyboard and become a keyboard man!

I'm going to update this chapter immediately!

I want to subscribe!

I want a monthly ticket!

I would like to recommend!

If I want it, give it to me... (Please use your imagination here... Hmm.)
