Chapter 56: Ji Huaishen is stubborn, what should I do?
"Wendo! Be careful!" Jiang Zuiyue's sharp shout suddenly pierced the applause.

Jiang Zuiyue sat by the bed, holding Wen Duo's hand tightly, with a suppressed tremor in his voice:
"You'll be fine."
Outside the ward, Ji Huaishen's tall figure stood in the corridor.
The doctor handed him some ointment, his voice low.
"Mr. Ji, Mrs. Ji has suffered extensive burns to the corneal epithelium of both eyes. Although it's not serious, she just can't see clearly during the recovery period."
Ji Huaishen took the ointment and tightened his bony fingers slightly:
“Will there be any sequelae?”
“Normally not.”
The doctor pushed his glasses up. "But if there is any unusual pain or delayed recovery of vision, you must be re-examined immediately."
Ji Huaishen's eyes darkened and his hands clenched unnaturally.
