Chapter 24 Mother said these are all bad guys!
In the carriage, Old Marquis Gu held An An in his arms, thinking to himself: I have to beg the emperor later.
Then, the old marquis touched his body, his face changed, and he asked the carriage to stop aside.
"Um, An An." Old Lord Gu looked a little guilty and put An An down.
"What's wrong, Grandpa?" An An was wondering why the carriage suddenly stopped, and then he met the slightly embarrassed gaze of the old marquis.
"An An, can you wait here for Grandpa for a while? Grandpa has something left and needs to go back to get it."
"Okay~ Then An An will wait for grandpa here!" The little dumpling sat down obediently.
"An An is so well behaved!" After instructing the servants to take good care of An An, Lord Gu rode back to the Gu Mansion at full speed.
An An, sitting in the carriage, looked left and right, shaking her little feet and waiting obediently for Master Gu.
"Oh no! Call a doctor quickly!" A cry for help came from the front.
When An An heard this, she immediately lifted the curtain, got off the carriage, and rushed towards the source of the sound.
"Hey, hey, Miss An An, please slow down!" The servant outside the carriage immediately followed.
Jin Li looked at the little dumpling rushing forward and immediately chased after him.
An An ran over immediately, the little kid couldn't even squeeze through the crowd.
"Whose child is this? Go away, go home, why are you joining in the fun here!"
"Hey, whose kid is this? He's so unruly. Why is he pushing so hard?!"
Seeing that the little girl was having a hard time squeezing through the crowd, Jin Li immediately stepped forward to pick her up, then cast some magic to make the crowd automatically separate.
An An felt that she was suddenly picked up by someone. She looked up and saw a familiar face: "Hey, little Koi, why are you here!"
"You little bitch, what are you talking about? It was obviously you who bumped into me by accident!"
Before Jin Li could speak, the two of them were led over by a voice.
I saw an old lady lying on the ground, her face was pale and she seemed to have fainted.
Jin Li picked up An An and pushed the crowd away. An elderly lady was lying on the ground, and she seemed to have fainted.
The old lady's maid was lying beside her, arguing with a gorgeously dressed woman with red eyes: "How can you be like this? It was obviously your own carriage that scared our old lady!"
The gorgeously dressed woman was very impatient: "Isn't it enough for me to pay you? It's not a big deal, is it worth making such a fuss?"
"You!" The maid was almost crying with anger. Today the old lady finally felt better and wanted to go out for a walk. She didn't expect the horse to be frightened and almost hit her. The old lady was old and she fainted immediately.
An An tugged at the corner of Jin Li's clothes, signaling him to put her down.
Jin Li carefully placed the little ball on the ground. An An immediately ran to the old lady, stuffed a small pill into her mouth, and took out a small medicine bag and sniffed it under the old lady's nose. The old lady slowly woke up.
"Madam, you are finally awake! Otherwise I really don't know what to do!" The maid happily helped the old lady up immediately.
"Thank you, young lady." The maid respectfully bowed to An An.
The little dumpling scratched his head with an embarrassed look on his face: "Hey, hey, you're welcome."
The old lady who woke up touched An An's head lovingly and said, "Whose child are you from? You saved my life. Come on, follow me to the Treasure Pavilion in front and pick out something you like. I'll give it to you as a thank you gift."
The old lady looked very friendly, and An An smiled and shook her head.
"Oh, you woke up so quickly, isn't there anything wrong? You're so despicable making a fuss about ghosts howling all day long." The woman said sarcastically.
"Hey, this is a reward for you. You're just clamoring for money, right? I'll give it to you!"
The woman motioned to the maid beside her, who nodded and threw a gold ingot from her purse.
"This is a reward from our young lady, why don't you pick it up?" the maid said bluntly.
"You!" The maid beside the old lady was about to speak when she was stopped by the old lady.
"Girl, my old bones can't stand your shock. I don't want this gold. Just apologize to me."
"You old fool, how dare you ask me to apologize to you?" The woman was very arrogant.
"That's right, our young lady is from the Jiangning Weaving House, you old man can't afford to offend her!"
An An put her hands on her hips and said, "You bumped into someone and didn't even apologize. Mother said that you are a bad person! A bad guy!"
"You big bad guy!" the little dumpling cursed.
"You little bastard, do you have the right to speak when our young lady is speaking?" the little maidservant cursed immediately.
Jin Li's face turned cold.
"Pa!" The maid suddenly covered her face and said aggrievedly, "Miss, why did you hit me?"
The elegant woman looked puzzled: "Why should I hit you?"
"Pa pa!" Two more slaps.
“Ah! Who! Who is it! Get out here!” The woman covered her face. “Who dares to hit me? Are you tired of living?!”
"Pah!" This time it was the mouth.
"Miss, Miss, why don't we go back?" The maid was about to cry. It was broad daylight, could there really be a ghost?
The woman looked around, feeling a little scared, and cursed: "You are lucky, but if you are caught by me, I will make you pay!"
Seeing the two men walking away dejectedly, Jin Li sneered in his heart: Humph, they actually dared to scold his little grass, they must be tired of living.
Here, An An took the old lady's hand and stuffed a small medicine bag into her hand.
"Grandma, take this, you can sleep better at night."
After the old lady took it, she touched the little boy’s head.
"Grandma, take care of yourself. Goodbye!" Little Tuanzi waved to the old lady and followed Jin Li back to the carriage.
The old lady winked at the maid, who immediately understood: "I will send someone to follow you right away."
Here, An An took Jin Li back into the carriage and waited obediently for the old marquis to come.
"By the way, little koi, why did you follow me?" Little Dumpling looked at Jin Li, a little angry, "You are not obedient, little koi."
Jin Li was somewhat helpless: "Xiao Cao, I..."
Just as he was about to explain, the carriage curtain moved, and Mr. Gu fell silent as he looked at Jin Li who suddenly appeared.
"You kid!" Old Master Gu patted Jin Li's shoulder with his big hand, causing Jin Li to stare at him.
"Forget it, just follow us. It's not safe for you to be alone." Old Master Gu picked up An An again and said to Jin Li.
Jin Li remained silent and returned to his cold and sarcastic attitude.
The carriage slowly drove towards the palace, and An An fell asleep with his little head shaking.
After an unknown amount of time, An An was woken up by Mr. Gu.
"Xiao An'an, we're here."
An An was taken away with a confused look on his face.
After being put down, Lord Gu took An An into the palace, and Jin Li continued to follow behind silently.
