Chapter 219 I Didn’t Embarrass Him Intentionally

After sending Ji Shanfang downstairs, Su Yuhe returned to the ward and glanced at the family when she entered.

The old lady was lying on the bed, and the rest of the people were missing, and no one knew where they had gone.

Su Yuhe was caught off guard by the old man's cloudy gaze, feeling a little embarrassed. She quickly looked away and sat down beside Jiang Lin's bed.

I couldn't help but yawn.

Jiang Lin let her sleep for a while out of concern.

Su Yuhe forced herself to shake her head and said, "I'll wait until I'm done showing it to you."

Jiang Lin nodded his chin to the right side of the bed: "You sleep here on your stomach, I'll watch it myself, and I'll wake you up when it's almost time."

Su Yuhe felt like she was about to close her eyes. She pursed her lips, thinking about squinting for a while: "Then remember to wake me up."

"Okay, go to sleep." Jiang Lin urged.

Su Yuhe slept in a daze for an unknown period of time, during which time she could hear voices coming from far and near.

But just as she was about to wake up, a big, broad hand patted her back and she fell asleep again.

The sleeping position lying on the hospital bed was not comfortable. Su Yuhe moved, and her arms and shoulders felt numb for a while, and she woke up in a daze.

She rubbed her eyes and looked up to meet Jiang Lin's gentle gaze.

Su Yuhe suddenly woke up. She was about to give Jiang Lin an IV, but she looked up hurriedly and saw that the rod where the bottle was hanging was empty.

She frowned: "Did you finish hanging up? Why didn't you wake me up?"

Jiang Lin curled his lips: "It's okay, the nurse just sent someone in and changed it for me."

Su Yuhe looked back and saw that there was indeed another patient coming in.

There was also an old lady on the bed, with gray hair, and I didn't know how old she was.

I didn't see anyone accompanying him in bed.

The old lady met Su Yuhe's gaze and said with a smile, "Your partner knows how much he cares for you. He told the nurse when she came in. You've found a good man."

The old lady had a kind face and looked like a peaceful person. Su Yuhe couldn't help but smile: "Well, he is very good, and you are fine too, old lady."

Su Yuhe stood up and stretched her muscles. She was stiff all over from the sleep, but she felt much better.

She yawned loudly and looked at her watch: "It's already eleven o'clock."

Jiang Lin: "I'm going to the bathroom first, you go buy food later."

"Oh, yes, the nurse also said that she would let you walk around to prevent intestinal adhesions." Su Yuhe helped Jiang Lin get out of bed. "Be careful. If the wound hurts, you must tell me."

"Yeah." Jiang Lin responded. When he just got out of bed, his body swayed a little, probably because he had been lying there for too long.

Su Yuhe's heart tightened: "What's wrong?"

Jiang Lin paused, then walked slowly: "It's okay, it will be fine after a while. Don't make a fuss, my leg is not injured."

Su Yuhe pursed her lips and helped Jiang Lin out.

I couldn't help but see the old lady who came in this morning. She was lying down, and a middle-aged man was sitting next to her reading a newspaper.

The toilet is at the end of the corridor.

Jiang Lin stopped at the door and looked at Su Yuhe helplessly: "Do you still want to go in?"

Just then a man came out from inside. This was the men's restroom.

Su Yuhe reacted and felt a little embarrassed: "Can you do it yourself? How can you unbutton your pants with one hand?"

Jiang Lin leaned over to Su Yuhe's ear and whispered something. The little woman's face suddenly flushed red, and she glared at Jiang Lin in embarrassment and anger: "Hurry up and get in!"

Jiang Lin walked in with a laugh.

Su Yuhe took a few steps to the side, not wanting to get close to the men's restroom.

The two returned to the ward and helped Jiang Lin sit up. Su Yuhe went to get Jiang Lin a cup of hot water and then tugged at her clothes: "Then I'll go downstairs to eat, you stay here."

"Wait a minute." Jiang Lin called Su Yuhe.

Su Yuhe turned around and looked at him: "What's wrong?"

Before Jiang Lin could answer, Qu Cheng came over: "Ms. Su."

Su Yuhe looked over and Qu Cheng smiled: "Let me treat you to a meal. Thank you for your help before."

Qu Cheng came to find Su Yuhe because he was determined to get her because he knew Jiang Lin couldn't eat yet, but Su Yuhe had to eat.

The two of them can spend a short time together.

Jiang Lin's mouth drooped. Will this man named Qu ever stop?

He thought quickly and cried out "ouch" and gasped for breath, calling out "wife".

Su Yuhe was indeed anxious: "Brother Lin, what's wrong?"

"I feel a little uncomfortable, but I can't tell where it is."

Qu Cheng came over and said, "Miss Su, let me take a look at him."

Jiang Lin paused and said, "My wife can see it, so I won't bother Dr. Qu."

Qu Cheng's expression faded, he shrugged, and stepped aside: "I forgot, Miss Su also knows medicine."

Su Yuhe took Jiang Lin's pulse and found nothing wrong.

She suddenly realized that Jiang Lin did it on purpose and didn't want her to go to dinner with Qu Cheng.

In fact, even if he didn't do this, Su Yuhe would not agree to let Qu Cheng go out to dinner with him.

She could feel that Qu Cheng had ulterior motives towards her, but she didn't need the money for the meal, nor did she have any need to have a good relationship with Qu Cheng, so of course she wouldn't go.

She turned her head and looked at Qu Cheng: "Doctor Qu, I have something to tell you."

She walked out and motioned Qu Cheng to come with her.

Jiang Lin shouted anxiously: "Wife."

Su Yuhe looked at Jiang Lin and said unhappily, "I'll be back soon."

Jiang Lin was embarrassed, no longer in a hurry, and sat back.

I walked to the water room at the end of the corridor, but there was no one there.

Su Yuhe said to Qu Cheng straight to the point, "Doctor Qu, you don't have to thank me specifically for saving a life we just met by chance. This is what a doctor should do. I asked you out because I have something else to tell you."
