Chapter 301: Poor Relatives Want to Be Recognized

Ye Wuyue heard the sound of a car and pulled Pu Jinnan out.

Seeing three people getting out of the car, he was so nervous that his palms were sweating and he called out Pu Jinnan in a low voice.

Her original intention was actually to let Pu Jinnan speak and greet people.

But Pu Jinnan understood that Ye Wuyue was nervous, so he patted her hand and comforted her: "It's okay."

Pu Jinnan nodded to Lu Aihua and the others and said, "Hello."

He can now speak a sentence continuously, but he speaks very slowly, like a child who has just learned to speak but is not very familiar with it.

Lu Aihua was very polite, but Lu Chuanzhu looked disgusted and didn't even try to hide it.

Pu Jinnan was just unable to speak before, he was not stupid. He could see that others were not very happy with him, and he didn't want to curry favor with them.

The reason he was looking for his relatives was not to find his father, but to find out who poisoned his mother.

He looked at Old Lady Lu. The old lady's eyes were kind and excited, and she looked like she was recognizing a relative. Pu Jinnan couldn't be cold to her. He pulled his lip and greeted her: "You are Old Lady Lu, right? Come in and sit down."

Old Mrs. Lu looked at Pu Jinnan's face, which looked 70% similar to Lu Aihua's, and could almost conclude that this was her eldest grandson who had been lost for many years!

She excitedly grabbed Pu Jinnan's hand and held it: "Good boy, good boy, I finally found you."

Old Mrs. Lu remembered what Jiang Lin said, that Pu Jinnan’s muteness had just been cured, and now his speech was different from that of ordinary people.

Now that she heard it with her own ears, she felt even more distressed for her eldest grandson who was lost outside, and her eyes were filled with tears.

She wiped her eyes and said, "I will be able to see the ancestors in the future."

Pu Jinnan was so embarrassed that he didn't know what to do. He had never experienced such a thing before.

Ye Wuyue greeted with a smile: "Hello, Mrs. Lu, it's windy outside, let's go inside, the food is ready, you came all the way here, eat first."

Old Mrs. Lu looked at Ye Wuyue. This woman had drooping eyebrows. She was kind, but also easily soft-hearted.

But she was easy to like, and Old Lady Lu liked her: "Oh, you are Pu, what's your name?"

Pu Jinnan replied at the right moment: "Pu Jinnan."

Old Lady Lu clapped her hands: "Oh, yes, Jinnan, what a nice name. Are you Jinnan's wife?"

Ye Wuyue nodded embarrassedly.

Old Lady Lu stepped forward and held Ye Wuyue's hand, then looked up with a smile: "Not bad, not bad, good height and handsome appearance."

Lu Aihua looked at Pu Jinnan and except for nodding at him at the beginning, he treated him as if he didn't exist and only focused on talking to the old lady. Doesn't he know who his father is?

Hearing Pu Jinnan's last name now, Lu Aihua felt uncomfortable, and it seemed like she had found an outlet for her anger. She said coldly, "Why is your last name Pu?"

Pu Jinnan pursed his lips and was about to refute.

Old Lady Lu glared at Lu Aihua: "You should take the surname of whoever raised you. Aihua, don't just stand there. Take the things out of the car."

Lu Aihua frowned: "I take it?"

Old Lady Lu snorted, "If you don't take it, who will? Come on, my dear grandson and granddaughter-in-law, let's go into the house first."

She held Pu Jinnan in one hand and Ye Wuyue in the other and walked inside on her own.

Ye Wuyue thought that the old lady's hands were quite strong. After looking at Pu Jinnan, she followed Old Lady Lu and went in.

Lu Aihua didn't expect Pu Jinnan to actually go in. Didn't he even know to help get things?

He has already taken it. For the sake of face and my mother's order, he has to take it out.

I was already holding my breath before I even entered the door.

Lu Aihua took some things out of the car, some biscuits, fruits and peach cakes.

He handed some to Lu Chuanzhu: "Zhuzhu, take this."

Lu Chuanzhu seemed to have his tail stepped on, and shrilled: "I won't take it!"

She walked straight in and didn't want to take anything.

Lu Aihua could only take it herself.

Jiang Lin and Pu Yangbo were sitting in the yard.

As soon as Mrs. Lu came in, she saw Jiang Lin and greeted him with a smile: "Xiao Jiang, you are here."

Jiang Lin smiled, but before she could say anything, Mrs. Lu spoke with a moved look on her face: "Thank you so much! If it weren't for you, I would never have seen my eldest grandson in my lifetime!"

Old Mrs. Lu did not miss Uncle Puyang who was standing next to her.

She looked at Pu Yangbo, opened her mouth, pointed at him, turned her head and asked Pu Jinnan: "Is this your adoptive father?"

In Pu Jinnan's heart, Pu Yangbo is his biological father. When he heard the word "adoptive father", he frowned, but still nodded.

Jiang Lin didn't say anything. Old Mrs. Lu was too enthusiastic.

Although Pu Jinnan is most likely the eldest grandson that Old Lady Lu lost, they have not yet been officially recognized. Old Lady Lu keeps calling him her eldest grandson and regards Jiang Lin as her benefactor.

He really didn't know what to say.

Nothing could be seen on Pu Yangbo's face. He just pulled his lower lip while holding his pipe.

Pu Jinnan called out to Uncle Pu Yang, "Dad, Jiang Lin, Old Lady Lu, let's go inside. The food is getting cold."

When Pu Yangbo heard the word "Dad", he sighed and called Jiang Lin to go in together.

Lu Chuanzhu, who had just walked in and looked around, found that the yard was also quite old, and was definitely not as good as the buildings in the city.

She curled her lips and was about to speak when Pu Jinnan and the others went into the house again!

Lu Chuanzhu: “…”

These people are so rude!

Moreover, this old woman keeps talking about her grandson, so where does she put her eldest brother?

Her face turned pale and she felt even more unhappy.

Lv Aihua came in from behind with something and glanced at Lv Chuanzhu: "Where's your grandma?"

"have no idea!"

Lu Chuanzhu said this impatiently and walked towards the room where Pu Jinnan had entered with his hands folded.

Lu Aihua naturally followed in. This little girl had a very willful temper and only listened to her mother. Sometimes Lu Aihua had no way to deal with Lu Chuanzhu.

Seeing that Lu Aihua was carrying so many things, Ye Wuyue felt embarrassed to sit there, so she stood up and planned to lend a hand.

Jiang Lin pulled her back: "Sit down."

Pu Jinnan remembered and was stopped by Old Lady Lu: "What are you doing, grandson? Sit down."

Old Lady Lu seemed to have just noticed that Lu Aihua was taking something out, and she casually pointed to the cabinet: "Aihua, I see there's an empty space there, you can put it there."

Lu Aihua could only let it go.

Seeing that Pu Jinnan and Pu Yangbo were silent, Ye Wuyue could only bite the bullet and say, "Sit down and eat."

She didn't know how to call out, so she simply didn't call out the name.

Lu Aihua nodded and sat down on the empty stool.

Lu Chuanzhu stood in the room and looked around. The room was even simpler. Except for a thermos, everything else was old.

She curled her lips and thought that it was just a poor relative who wanted to go back and recognize his relatives.

Her mother was right!

Fortunately, she came. She must remember all these things and talk to her mother about them when she goes back.

When she came to her senses, Lu Aihua and the others were already seated.

She shouted, "Why didn't you call me?"

Old Mrs. Lu didn't even look at her, and had already picked up the chopsticks to pick up a piece of meat for Ye Wuyue.
