Chapter 437 Tan Hongyi Gets Married

Su Yuhe was thinking about something.

Zeng Xianjiu called both her and Zhao Xiyuan and told them about the exchange program abroad, but he didn't actually say that it had to be just the two of them.

So the outcome of this matter has not been finalized yet.

The most important thing for her now is to do a good job of reception.

Since she didn't have to study oral English, Su Yuhe had more time. She was not idle either. She familiarized herself with the reception process and went to the library to find some English medical literature to read.

Tan Hongyi’s wedding was held in his old house in Shijingshan.

There was a high stool outside the gate, supporting a round winnowing basket with red dates, peanuts, melon seeds and crispy candies on it. Passersby could take some to share in the good luck.

There were some red silks hung in the yard, with red wedding characters pasted on them, making it very lively.

The old couple of the Tan family both wore red flowers on their chests. Mr. Tan took out a formal Zhongshan suit, and the old lady also wore a new style of clothes.

Playing with Baosheng and Tiedan in the house.

My second aunt Zhao Yingshan never sat down for a moment. She was busy with things and had a big red flower hanging on her chest.

Su Yuhe had been waiting at the Tan family, and Jiang Lin was taken by Tan Hongyi to pick up the bride.

Su Yuhe and Chen Ya sat together and whispered, "I'll be meeting my second cousin's wife for the first time soon, and I don't know what her personality is like."

Chen Ya thought for a moment and said, "Didn't I tell you before that she's fine? Today is her wedding day, and we might not be able to talk to her much. Let's just wait to see the bride."

About an hour later, the bride was brought back.

A group of people came into the bridal chamber. Su Yuhe just made eye contact with Jiang Lin in the crowd, and was then pulled over by Chen Ya.

Jiang Lin and the other people who came to pick up the bride walked away to do other things.

When Baosheng saw Su Yuhe walking away, he stretched out his hand and trotted in the direction Su Yuhe was walking away, calling "Mom" softly.

It was a lively day and everyone's attention was on the newlyweds, so they didn't notice the little man on the ground.

Baosheng rushed forward like this and was tripped by someone without paying attention.

The little guy sat down on the ground with his mouth flattened, and then he found that no one was looking at him. He didn't cry, but supported himself on the floor to sit up, twisted his little butt and followed again.

After entering the new house, he looked up and saw people's legs and buttocks everywhere. He squeezed in.

Suddenly someone called out, "Whose baby is this? It's so pretty. There's no one to look after it, and there are so many people around. What if it falls down?"

In other words, Baosheng can't speak, otherwise he would definitely say in a wronged tone that he was knocked down just now.

Because that person was talking, Baosheng was immediately noticed.

Everyone looked at the little guy and felt very happy.

Who raised this little kid to be so pretty?

Baosheng was surrounded by a group of people. He pursed his lips, pinched the corner of his clothes with his chubby hands, looked around but couldn't see his mother. He only saw a beautiful aunt sitting not far away in a red dress with a red flower.

That aunt looks very beautiful when she smiles.

Baosheng lifted his leg and walked over.

Because there were people blocking the way just now and Su Yuhe was in another direction, she didn't notice that Baosheng came in. Now Baosheng squeezed to the bride's side.

Su Yuhe only then realized that Baosheng had come over without her noticing.

Everyone was asking who the little baby belonged to. It was so cute that it instantly attracted the attention of those who were supposed to be looking at the bride.

Su Yuhe's eyebrows jumped. She was about to go out and bring Baosheng back, fearing that Baosheng would upset her second cousin-in-law whom she was meeting for the first time.

After all, most brides don't want to be overshadowed on their wedding day.

Even though Baosheng is just a little baby.

Before she could move, Baosheng looked up at Chen Xiaofang and called her "Auntie" softly.

Chen Xiaofang sighed, grabbed a handful of candy and gave it to the little kid, then asked him, "Where's your mom?"

Baosheng took the candy and said thank you in a soft voice.

Tan Hongyi smiled: "This is my little nephew, Baosheng."

Chen Xiaofang seemed to know who Baosheng was. He smiled even more broadly when he heard it. "This is Baosheng. He's so lovable."

A woman nearby said, "Let this little baby roll in the bed. I hope she'll give birth to a lucky baby like him next year."

Baosheng would say thank you after taking the candy. Chen Xiaofang felt itchy when he saw Baosheng's expression and wanted a doll like this too.

But this process had not been prepared before, and Baosheng's parents had not told him about it. Chen Xiaofang glanced at Tan Hongyi and said nothing.

Baosheng saw Su Yuhe next to him, turned around and reached out: "Mom, mom~"

Su Yuhe finally had the chance. She stood up without being abrupt, bent down and picked up Baosheng. "Why are you here? Where's grandma?"

Tan Lan walked in and saw Su Yuhe holding Baosheng. She breathed a sigh of relief: "This little guy, I didn't notice him and ran here. I've been looking for him for a long time."

Tan Hongyi greeted cheerfully, "Yuhe, let Baosheng roll out of bed for us."

Seeing the bride's anticipation, Su Yuhe agreed, put Baosheng on the bed, and patted him: "Son, roll over."

Baosheng didn't know why he was rolling around, but everyone was looking at him and his mother told him to roll around. He lay down and rolled on the red bed a few times, then stopped to look at Su Yuhe.

Su Yuhe smiled with praise, and Baosheng grinned along with her.

This made everyone around laugh.

Chen Xiaofang was quite happy and gave Baosheng a red envelope.

My second aunt, Zhao Yingshan, came in and asked us to go out and go through the procedures.

As the newlyweds left, there was no one left in the room.

Su Yuhe took Baosheng to watch others go through the process.

Jiang Lin came over at some point, and Su Yuhe glanced at him distractedly: "Where did you go just now?"

"Go park the car."

In this era, there are very few people who can drive. Uncle Tan is the regiment commander, and Tan Hongyi is his eldest son, who is also in the army. Although he has not yet become an officer, he is still capable.

They got three cars and Jiang Lin came to help drive one.

Su Yuhe nodded and turned to watch the newlyweds go through the process.

The meal started next. Next to Su Yuhe and Chen Ya's stools sat two children.

Tiedan and Baosheng each grabbed a chicken leg and chewed on it.

Su Yuhe told Chen Ya what had just happened: "That bride is really nice, kind-hearted."

There were twelve tables for the banquet, and they were all full.

After dinner, Jiang Lin, Su Zeming and other men were still eating, so Su Yuhe took Baosheng to sit in Chen Ya's room.

Tan Lihui, the director of a state-owned factory, was very perceptive about certain policies. He asked Jiang Lin, "Didn't the rural areas implement the land distribution system recently? How is your family doing?"

Jiang Lin replied, "Based on the population, there are only three people registered, so there's only so much land."

Tan Lihui snorted softly, "I used to be a landlord, but now everything is gone. What's going on?"
