Chapter 640: Delivering a Car

The day Jiang Lin came back, Su Yuhe happened to be working the night shift, and she and Zheng Lanlan, who was on the same shift, got off work at around 12 o'clock.

The two walked out of the hospital talking and laughing.

Zheng Lanlan first noticed the car parked in front of the hospital. After taking a closer look, she saw a man getting out of it.

The man happened to look over here. Zheng Lanlan felt that the man looked a little familiar. She had worked in the hospital for so long and had met so many people.

Zheng Lanlan thought he was just a family member of a patient she had met in the hospital and didn't pay much attention to him.

But Su Yuhe stopped and waited for the man who was walking towards her. Zheng Lanlan suddenly realized something and turned to look at Su Yuhe: "Is he your boyfriend?"

Su Yuhe smiled and nodded: "Yeah, I can't go with you."

Su Yuhe usually rides a bicycle to work and parks it in the parking shed designated by the hospital.

She knew Jiang Lin would be home today, but she didn't know exactly when, nor did she expect Jiang Lin to come over.

Now that Jiang Lin came to pick her up, she didn't plan to ride the bike herself and just parked it in the hospital parking shed.

There is no need to go with Zheng Lanlan.

Zheng Lanlan expressed her understanding and before leaving, she looked enviously at the tall man walking towards Su Yuhe.

When I met Jiang Lin before, he was a man dressed simply, but now he is wearing a neat suit and leather shoes.

He used to be a rough and handsome guy, but now his every move and gesture exudes the air of a mature man and gentleman.

There's also a car behind me.

Nowadays, most people can’t afford a car even if they have money, but Jiang Lin has one.

Zheng Lanlan left with envy in her eyes.

"Are you hungry after getting off work so late?" Jiang Lin took Su Yuhe's hand.

Su Yuhe looked at Jiang Lin with a smile: "I'm not very hungry. When did you get home?"

"Around one or two in the afternoon. I went home and took a nap. Mom said you're on the night shift tonight, so I figured I'd come pick you up around that time."

At this point, Jiang Lin frowned: "Do you often get off work so late? The road is so dark, and you ride your bike back alone? How dangerous is that?"

Su Yuhe: "It's okay. In the capital, most people don't dare to do bad things."

Jiang Lin disagreed with this statement and gestured for Su Yuhe to look at the car in front of him: "Do you like it?"

This is a new car. Su Yuhe was a little surprised: "Isn't it bought for me?"

"Yes." Jiang Lin said yes, "Go get a driver's license, then you can drive this in the future."

"It's not necessary..." Su Yuhe said truthfully, "It's only a ten-minute bike ride."

"Why don't you just learn first? It will be much better if you can drive by yourself. Or I can assign you a driver."

Su Yuhe was about to say something when Jiang Lin continued, "Didn't you say you wanted to bring Old Man Shi and the others over? The house in Goldfish Alley isn't big enough for us. Now that I'm back, let's move to a bigger house."

"Move to the one I bought before?" Su Yuhe thought of the two courtyards she had bought before, one of which was rented out and the other had never been rented out.

It’s not that it can’t be rented out.

Su Yuhe had originally planned to move there, but Ye Yunshu and the others were used to living here, and the place was big enough for them, so they never moved.

Of course, Su Yuhe has never rented out the house. She goes there to clean it from time to time, and the house is still in good condition.

Jiang Lin paused and said with a smile, "I had forgotten that I had bought a house before. I want to look for a suitable one to buy."

"If you have money, just buy it." Su Yuhe knew that houses in the capital would be very valuable in the future. Jiang Lin had a lot of money now, and Su Yuhe would not say a word if he invested in real estate to buy a house.

Jiang Lin: "I'll go to your house first, and then I'll go see the new one when I have time. Let's get in the car and see if there's anything to eat in the capital tonight. Let's go get some midnight snack first."

It would have been fine if he hadn't said it, but once he did, Su Yuhe really started to feel hungry: "Let's go see if there's any roast duck. I want to eat some lotus leaf pancake wrapped in roast duck."

Jiang Lin nodded and started the car.

Although it is the capital, there are not many cars here at this time, not to mention it is still the middle of the night and they are the only car on the road.

Jiang Lin looked outside and opened the door, but didn't find a roast duck restaurant, but found a noodle shop.

Su Yuhe watched Jiang Lin walk around twice and said, "Forget it, just eat some noodles."

Worried that Jiang Lin would insist on asking her to eat roast duck, Su Yuhe quickly said, "I'm very hungry. I can't wait any longer. I have to take a shower and go to bed when I get home. It's very late."

Jiang Lin was afraid that Su Yuhe would starve, so he parked his car in front of the noodle shop.

This noodle shop is a bit far from the hospital, so Su Yuhe has never eaten here. However, anyone who can open a noodle shop nowadays is quite capable.

Su Yuhe ordered a bowl of plain noodles, which came with hot soup and no meat, so it wasn't difficult to digest.

Jiang Lin had dinner in the evening, so he wasn't particularly hungry at the moment, but he wanted to eat with Su Yuhe, so he ordered some dumplings for himself.

He also picked up a dumpling for Su Yuhe: "Try it, order the vegetarian one, it's not greasy."

The two finished eating and left. The noodle shop owner came out to collect the bowls, looked outside, and muttered to himself as he came back to collect the bowls:

"A big boss who drives a car ordered two all-vegetarian meals! What a show of wealth!"

The next day, Su Yuhe went to work, and Jiang Lin drove her there. Baosheng also wanted to go with her: "Dad, I'm going too! I'm going to take Mom to work too!"

Baosheng was very excited.

His excitement wasn't because he was riding in a car; it was not like he had ever ridden in a car before.

He was excited because he could take his mother to work. Usually, Su Yuhe rode her bike there by herself, but today he didn't have to go to class, so his father was driving.

Su Yuhe and Jiang Lin had no objection.

When Su Yuhe took her shoulder bag, Baosheng rushed to take it: "Mom, let me help you."

"Baosheng is so good, thank you my dear son!" Su Yuhe kissed Baosheng. The little guy was so happy that he wanted to carry Su Yuhe out on his back.

The family of three went out and saw a new car parked at the door, a white German car.

It was almost noon, and many neighbors had nothing to do, so they came out to see them.

Jiang Lin's family of three were used to being stared at. It didn't affect them at all, so they just continued doing what they were doing.

When Baosheng was being watched, he didn't like to make a fuss. He had a stern face, like a mature little adult.

Even Su Yuhe sighed that Baosheng was not as cute as he was when he was a child since he went to school.

After getting in the car, Baosheng, who was alone with his parents, became lively: "Dad, dad, is this car new? It seems different from the previous ones."

"Yes, it's new." Jiang Lin turned his head and looked at Baosheng, "I bought this for my mother. Does it look good?"

Su Yuhe then praised Baosheng: "Baby, your observation and memory are very good. You remembered that this is not the old car, and you can even tell that it is a new one."

Baosheng really liked the compliment from his mother and smiled with his eyes narrowed.

He said, "Dad gave Mom a car. Is it Mom's birthday?"

"No." Jiang Lin said quickly, frowned, and glanced at Su Yuhe, "I don't think I've celebrated my birthday much in all these years."
