At around eleven o'clock, Jiang Lin finished hanging the IV.
He had eaten some white porridge in the morning and now his stomach was empty.
Su Yuhe was very considerate to her man. She guessed that he might be hungry and asked him if he was hungry.
Jiang Lin nodded truthfully: "A little bit."
"If you're hungry, just starve for now. I'll take my sister-in-law to have a big meal first." Ding Huai walked in from outside.
Jiang Lin glanced at him and said to Su Yuhe, "Eat him out of money."
Seeing that they were about to choke, Su Yuhe smiled helplessly: "Eat and take it at the same time, otherwise I don't know how to eat him out of money."
Ding Huai snorted and laughed: "Sister-in-law, you have led him astray. You were not like this before."
Su Yuhe smiled without saying anything and made Jiang Lin half a cup of malted milk: "Drink this first to fill you up. I'll bring you food later."
After preparing water for Jiang Lin and letting him go to the toilet, Su Yuhe packed up her bag and left with Ding Huai.
Jiang Lin watched Su Yuhe walk out with his eyes wide open, feeling as aggrieved as a puppy watching its owner leave home.
Su Yuhe's heart softened: "I'll be back soon."
Ding Huai scoffed: "You're already a grown-up, and you're still trying to kill yourself."
Su Yuhe glanced at Ding Huai dimly. Ding Huai coughed twice, as if to change the subject: "Where is the woman who poisoned you?"
Su Yuhe was about to say that she didn't know where he had gone when she caught a glimpse of Yi Nu standing at the door in a black robe. She changed the subject and said, "Behind you."
Ding Huai turned around and was caught off guard by Yinu's two wide-open black eyes. He cried out, "Oh my!" "How scary!"
Yi Nu curled his lips and looked at Su Yuhe pitifully: "I'm hungry."
Her shoulders were drooping and her face looked lifeless. I wonder where she had gone during the time she was gone.
But now is not a good time to ask.
Su Yuhe went back to the bedside table and took out a pear, then handed it to her: "Eat a pear first to fill your stomach, and we'll go eat now."
Ding Huai pursed his lips. If he had left the hospital with Su Yuhe a minute earlier, he wouldn't have to carry such a burden.
Ding Huai greets everyone with a smile, especially some elders with whom he has a good relationship, and he is very sweet-mouthed.
He just doesn't like Yinu.
Su Yuhe paused after she finished speaking, and realized that she was going to Ding Huai's house, and it seemed inappropriate to bring someone else there without telling the host.
She looked at Ding Huai, who saw through Su Yuhe's hesitation and said casually, "Just go."
He agreed to this out of Su Yuhe's consideration.
Ding Huai wasn't that stingy just because of an extra pair of chopsticks.
Yinu finished the pear with a few crunches as he went downstairs. He threw the pear core into the big trash can at the door.
A Zhen was still driving, while Su Yuhe and Yinu were sitting in the back.
As soon as Yinu got in the car, he closed his eyes and fell asleep. Within two minutes, he fell into a light sleep.
Su Yuhe raised her eyebrows. How sleepy must she be to fall asleep so quickly?
You didn't sleep all night, did you?
Thinking of this, Su Yuhe suddenly looked away, and the embarrassment of being caught yesterday came back to her.
It takes more than half an hour to drive from Ding Huai to the hospital. When they arrived, Yinu opened her eyes by herself and got out of the car behind Su Yuhe.
Yinu knew that they were coming to Ding Huai's house for dinner. Even though she disliked this man who looked a bit like a foreigner, she remained silent and didn't provoke Ding Huai.
She was so hungry that she could eat a cow and would eat up all the young man's wealth soon.
In front of me is a small red Western-style building with a small courtyard.
In fact, all the houses Su Yuhe saw along the way were like this. They might have been built for certain specific people to live in.
Embassy abroad?
"Come in, sister-in-law." Ding Huai called out.
When Alina heard the sound of the car, she knew that Ding Huai had come back to pick someone up, and she came out trotting with her little dress in hand.
Sure enough, she saw Su Yuhe and continued to greet her in her not-so-fluent Chinese: "Sister-in-law! You're here."
Su Yuhe glanced at the skirt she was wearing, smiled and nodded: "Come and have a meal, you look so beautiful today."
Being praised for being beautiful is something that every woman would be happy about.
Of course, Su Yuhe didn't say this just to flatter.
Alina wore a long skirt made of lavender and dark purple, decorated with white lace. She had a headdress of the same color on her golden curly hair, and wore a pearl necklace and pearl earrings.
It's really beautiful.
Alina accepted Su Yuhe's compliment graciously, turned around in front of Su Yuhe, and said, "I think it's beautiful too. I know you came here on purpose and wore it that way."
This was their second meeting, but Su Yuhe had already noticed Alina's personality: proud with a little princess temperament, generous and bright without being coy or artificial.
Quite likable.
Su Yuhe's eyebrows curved with a smile: "Really? Well, I didn't dress up properly, please don't be angry."
"No, no." Alina waved her hand, took a step forward and hugged Su Yuhe's arm. Just as she opened her mouth to speak, she saw Yinu.
Just now, because of the perspective problem, the person was blocked, and Alina was only thinking about Su Yuhe, so she didn't see Yinu.
When he saw her for the first time, he was startled and covered his chest and burrowed into Su Yuhe's arms: "Who is she? Wow, she looks like an old witch who catches children!"
Su Yuhe's heart suddenly skipped a beat, fearing that Alina had offended Yinu.
She pulled Alina up and said, "It's okay. This is Yinu's mother. She's... uh, a pretty good person."
A pretty good person?
Ding Huai, who was hearing this description nearby, almost rolled his eyes to the sky.
Alina pursed her lips: "Mom? Sister-in-law, your, mom?"
"No..." Su Yuhe explained until she was tired, "It's the name she uses back home. Just like I call you Alina, calling her Yinu Mom is a courtesy."
Alina suddenly realized and said, "Her name is Yinu Mama."
Su Yuhe: "..."
"Puff!" Ding Huai laughed out loud and walked away, "Let's go back to the house first."
Yinu looked numb, he didn't expect there were foreigners here.
Alina called out "Yinu Mama" and said, "Hello."
Since she had already expressed her goodwill, Yinu felt that as a saint, she reluctantly nodded in response.
Su Yuhe breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Yinu had no aversion to Alina.
Ding Huai arranged for someone to prepare lunch, which included fish, meat and rice.
Yi Nu sat down, picked up the bowl and started eating without picking up any dishes. He finished the bowl of rice with a grunt, looking at Su Yuhe eagerly.
Before Su Yuhe and Alina could say a few words, they met Yinu's eyes. Seeing her clean bowl, she felt that she ate quickly, but did not think much about it. "Do you want more rice? Give me the bowl."
The rice bowl was on Su Yuhe's side. She took the bowl and served Yinu a bowl of rice.
"Hey, go slower." Su Yuhe was stunned when she saw her lowering her head and quickly digging into the rice without eating any vegetables. In just a moment, Yi Nu had finished all the rice.
Once again, he looked at Su Yuhe eagerly.
