The man knelt on the ground and tried to tear off Su Yuhe's clothes. Su Yuhe held her clothes tightly and her vision went dark.
It's all over!
Jiang Lin happened to run over, and when he saw the scene, he immediately became furious. He strode over, pulled the man away, and kicked him aside. The three men nearby glanced at each other and shouted at Jiang Lin, "Don't meddle in other people's business."
Jiang Lin didn't say much and swung his fist. The hooligans combined were no match for Jiang Lin and fell to the ground, howling in pain.
They just took the money to do the job, but didn't want to lose their lives. Knowing that the task could not be completed, they just wanted to escape. They were afraid that Jiang Lin's posture would beat them to death, so they got up and wanted to run away.
Jiang Lin couldn't catch so many people by himself, so he only caught the one closest to him. He took out his belt and tied it to a nearby tree. He grabbed a handful of weeds and stuffed them into his mouth: "I'll interrogate you later."
Jiang Lin hurried over and picked up Su Yuhe: "Yuhe, it's okay, I'm here."
Su Yuhe still felt a sense of panic as if she had survived a disaster. She hugged Jiang Lin and started crying, tears streaming down her face like crazy.
If Jiang Lin hadn't come, she really wouldn't even dare to think about it.
Jiang Lin carried Su Yuhe into the bushes, away from the sight of the man who was avoiding him, for fear of disgusting Su Yuhe.
He sat on the ground, holding Su Yuhe in his arms. He waited until Su Yuhe calmed down before pulling her face away. Her eyes were swollen like walnuts, and the slap marks on her fair face were very clear.
Jiang Lin felt so distressed that he rubbed the back of Su Yuhe's head and said, "It's all my fault for not coming earlier."
Su Yuhe sniffed: "It's a good thing you came."
She leaned against Jiang Lin's chest, calmed down, and carefully recalled what had happened: "They came here specifically to wait for me. Those guys don't look like good people. They wouldn't come here for no reason."
Jiang Lin nodded: "I've caught one. I'll ask him later. Will you wait here for me?"
Su Yuhe shook her head: "I'll go with you."
The two men walked out, and the captured gangster was whimpering with a mouth full of grass.
Jiang Lin roughly pulled out the weeds: "Who asked you to come?"
The man was very afraid of Jiang Lin. After all, Jiang Lin was taller and stronger than him. He could take down four of them by himself. But when he thought about how he would lose his place in the circle if he told others, his eyes flickered and he said, "I don't know."
Jiang Lin slapped him: "Speak or not?"
"Brother, please forgive me. I'm just a small fry. This wasn't my job. I really don't know."
"So someone really asked you to deal with me?" Su Yuhe stepped forward.
The man's face was covered in snot from crying, looking very ugly. Jiang Lin pulled Su Yuhe behind him and said, "He's very dirty. I can do it."
The man looked like he couldn't get anything out of him any further, so Jiang Lin pulled Su Yuhe away, leaving the man behind, shouting, "Hey, big brother, auntie, let me go first."
"Just ignore him?" Su Yuhe asked.
"I have a plan."
Jiang Lin remembered that there were several black beehives in the mountains. He wrapped his head with clothes and smeared some grass juice on his face, asking Su Yuhe to stay away.
Su Yuhe watched from afar as Jiang Lin put a beehive into a sack. When he was done, she tried to come over, but Jiang Lin stopped her, saying, "Don't come over. You'll be in trouble if you get stung by a black bee."
Su Yuhe did not go over, but followed Jiang Lin a few meters away. They returned to the place where the little gangster was tied up.
Jiang Lin didn't want Su Yuhe to see what he was going to do, so he asked Su Yuhe to stay where she was. Su Yuhe thought he was going to release black bees to sting people, so it was not convenient for him to go over.
Jiang Lin did want the black bees to sting people, but it wasn't that simple. He held the sack in front of the little gangster and said, "There are black bees in this. Let me ask you one last time. Do you really not know who paid you to do this?"
The little gangster swallowed his saliva: "I really don't know."
Jiang Lin sneered, looked around, found a handy wooden stick, pulled down the little gangster's pants, picked up the thing with the stick, and seemed to be trying to put the bag on it.
There's a black bee inside!
Although the little gangster didn't see it and didn't know whether it was true or not, what if it was true? Wouldn't it be terrible if his vitals were bitten by a black bee?
Yellow liquid dripped out from the little gangster's bottom, and the smell of urine was exposed in the air. He screamed in fear: "I say! I say! Big brother, stop!"
Jiang Lin's face was full of disgust: "Who is it?"
"I don't know the specific name, I just know it's Luo Zhiqing." As if afraid that Jiang Lin wouldn't believe him, the little gangster started crying, "I'm telling the truth, I know it's this, and I didn't take the money..."
Jiang Lin untied his rope: "Pull up your pants yourself."
The little rascal pulled up his pants and tried to run, but Jiang Lin grabbed him by the collar and said, "Why are you running? Did I tell you to leave?"
The little gangster almost knelt down: "Brother, I've told you everything I know."
Jiang Lin snorted coldly and tied the little gangster's hands behind his back.
Su Yuhe saw Jiang Lin pushing someone over and asked, "Did he say that?"
"He said Luo Zhiqing, do you know him?"
There were several people with the surname Luo at the educated youth site, but Su Yuhe instinctively thought it was Luo Yan. Apart from her, no one else had a grudge against Su Yuhe.
Su Yuhe gritted her teeth and said, "Let's go back to the educated youth camp."
After taking a few steps, Su Yuhe suddenly remembered and took Jiang Lin's hand: "Brother Lin, I think I did something wrong just now."
"What?"
Su Yuhe told the story of how she had hit someone on the head with a brick, and then added, "He was lying on the ground motionless. I wonder if he was killed."
Jiang Lin snorted, "Well done! Remember to always put your own safety first. If anything goes wrong, I'll take care of it for you. Where is he?"
It was the way down the mountain. When the two men reached the place, they didn't see anyone, but there was a small pool of blood on the ground.
Maybe he woke up and ran away, or the three who ran away came back and took the person away.
No matter what the reason was, Su Yuhe was not worried that they would report to the police. After all, what they did was not a good thing, so how could they dare to report to the police?
"It's okay." Jiang Lin squeezed Su Yuhe's hand, "Brother is here."
After going down the mountain, the two separated their hands. Jiang Lin raised his chin and let Su Yuhe walk in front while he followed behind.
The door to the educated youth's courtyard was closed. Su Yuhe turned around to ask Jiang Lin to go back, but then she heard someone in the courtyard say in a low voice, "Have you found someone good?"
"Yes, there were quite a few of them. They cost me a lot of food coupons and money."
"Shall we go now?"
Su Yuhe listened to the familiar voice and the conversation, and quickly guessed the whole story in her mind. She pushed the door open and saw Lu Jianrong and Luo Yan whispering together.
Su Yuhe was furious. She rushed in, grabbed Luo Yan's collar, and raised her hand to slap her.
There were several loud clapping sounds, and not only Luo Yan, but even Lu Jianrong was stunned.
Su Yuhe stopped beating him until her hands hurt: "It really is the person you are looking for!"
