Sun Chang chuckled and said, "Comrade, what's your name?"
"My last name is Ye." Ye Yunshu answered quickly.
"Comrade Ye, you can just call me Sun Chang." Sun Chang glanced at Ye Yunshu and asked curiously, "When did your eyes get better?"
"It's been a while since the Chinese New Year."
"Which doctor treated it? He's very skilled."
Ye Yunshu knew she couldn't mention Shi Kangyuan, so she just said vaguely, "He's an old doctor."
Sun Chang asked again, "What are you doing in the city?"
A person was going on a long journey without a letter of introduction. Sun Chang thought that either the matter was urgent or Ye Yunshu simply didn't understand these things.
Could he have been kicked out?
Ye Yunshu thought for a moment and said, "My son is in the hospital. I'll go see him."
Sun Chang straightened his face and asked, "What's going on?"
Ye Yunshu pursed her lips: "I'm not too sure, I heard it was a fracture. As a mother, I haven't seen anyone, so I felt a little uneasy, so I just came out to take a look."
She said with a bit of embarrassment: "This is the first time I've traveled far away in these years, and I forgot to ask for a letter of introduction."
Sun Chang smiled brightly: "It's a good thing you forgot, otherwise we might not meet again."
Ye Yunshu smiled bitterly: "Forgetting is not a good thing. I almost got cheated by the bad guys."
Sun Chang stopped laughing and said, "Indeed, there are always some people whose thinking is backward."
Ye Yunshu chatted with Sun Chang for a few minutes and felt much more relaxed.
In her opinion, Sun Chang was a humorous but gentleman with boundaries, and the two chatted all the way.
The rest of the story mostly talks about what Sun Chang encountered in his previous work.
There were many things that Ye Yunshu had never heard of. She listened silently, occasionally asking questions or responding.
