Chapter 12

This young man is naturally Jinchu.

Because of the artificial satellites and radars outside the planet Belfield, Jin Chu couldn't find an opportunity to land, and finally hid on a transport ship that was about to land at the spaceport.

The transport ship was huge, with patches of yellow and white due to paint peeling, which matched the colors of the giant cat. They found a place to cling to the side of the ship, and then discovered that the transport ship was carrying passengers, and the passengers were quite poor. The large boxes and bags looked no better than Jin Chu's. Jin Chu sneaked onto the ship and then slipped out when everyone else disembarked, pretending to be a passenger himself.

Jinchu didn't know that the reason he was able to sneak in so easily was mainly because many people on the transport ship were illegal immigrants, and they could get a ride back by paying some money. The transport ship also informed the spaceport to not be too strict in the inspection, otherwise Jinchu would not be able to pass the identity verification alone.

However, Jin Chu was not stupid. He observed the passengers and realized that his attire was a little too special, so he took off the animal skin clothes and the ornaments on his body, and dressed himself in the clothes of those people. He stuffed the things he took off into his bag. As for the bird's nest on his head, he kept it on for fear that it would be squeezed and damaged.

As for the giant cat, it had shrunk long before entering the transport ship, shrinking to a size that could stand on Jin Chu's shoulder. Because it had shrunk, the color of its fur became darker. The original white fur became whiter, and the yellow fur turned orange, just like a half-grown orange cat. Then it was also stuffed into the hot pack by Jin Chu.

No one on the transport ship brought any animals.

It was his first time in the human world and everything was new to him. He looked left and right but had no idea where to go next.

It just so happened that the hovercraft drivers were bored at this moment. They looked at the young man with an incredibly large package, and someone went up to talk to him.

"Hey young man, where are you going? Need a ride?"

A big lump "floated" to Jin Chu's side. Jin Chu knew that this was called a hover car. He had been listening to other people talking all the way out.

When Ye Ruisheng left, he left him a video teaching him how to speak Imperial language. Jin Chu had no intention of interacting with humans again, but when he thought about his child Guoguo, who was half human after all, what if he wanted to visit the human world when he grew up?

So he learned it, but he didn't expect that he would use it first, so now he can understand Imperial language, but has some difficulty speaking it.

At this moment, Jin Chu looked at the big lump floating next to him, and the first thought in his mind was whether Xiao Rongrong could eat this hover car.

Then, looking at the driver's bearded face, he thought for a moment and said slowly, "Do you want to pay? I don't have any money."

His eyes were wide open, his face pale and soft, and he looked very innocent. Jinchu had changed the color of his eyeballs to black, after all, most humans had black eyes. He also adjusted his face. Some humans had seen him before, and he didn't want to be recognized. If they grabbed him and asked him where he had taken the planet, he would have to run away again.

Although Little Flower Star was closer to Belfield Star, Jinchu wasn't worried about the humans finding it. Little Flower Star used to be a light red, but now, without sunlight, it was a completely grayish color. The difference was significant. There were so many galaxies, large and small, surrounding the empire; they wouldn't be focusing on just one or two.

The bearded driver found the boy quite interesting and since he had nothing else to do, he casually said, "What's in those two big bags of yours? Even if you don't have money, you can use the things to pay for the fare."

Jinchu's eyes lit up, and he thought, has the first business come to him?

He rummaged through his large pocket and pulled out a beautiful rainbow feather. It was a beautiful bird's own tail feather, a gift from a very beautiful bird. He had collected it over many years to find only a dozen or so. It wasn't very useful, but it was beautiful. Jin Chu also felt it was not worth taking out other more precious and rare items during the ride, so he found this one.

"Do you want this?" he asked the bearded driver. He didn't notice that the bearded driver's eyes changed because when he took out the bag, the things inside were revealed. On the top were some silver shiny things. They were originally hung around Jin Chu's neck, arms and legs, but he took them off because he thought they were too conspicuous and put them in the bag.

The driver didn't know what it was, but looking at the shiny silver, he guessed it must be a valuable piece of jewelry. He looked at Jin Chu with a different look.

A skinny kid with an innocent and somewhat silly face, all alone...

The bearded driver inevitably had some bad thoughts.

He stopped the car, took the feather, and said to Jin Chu with a smile: "Then I'll give you a ride. Hurry up and get in the car. Where are you going?"

Jinchu happily climbed out of the car door. The car looked old, but it had plenty of space inside, enough to fit two large bags. He thought for a moment, remembering what he had heard the other people say along the way: "Going to... the scrap yard?"

That's what it's called, right? Those people mentioned that when hovercars like this break down, they're taken to that kind of place. Also, when robots, aircraft, and even large spaceships break down, some are cut up and sold to scrap yards. Jinchu thought he could go there first.

The bearded driver said, "There are many recycling stations. Which one do you want to go to?"

Jinchu: “The biggest one!”

The bearded driver's eyes flashed. The biggest one, that's in a very remote and messy place. It would be easier to take action in that kind of place.

He started the hovercar, and it jolted, but didn't start. Jinchu looked at him curiously. He smiled and said, "This car's been used for a while, and there's something wrong with it." He checked it and saw it was "almost overloaded." But how could one more person be overloaded? This car really needed a new one.

The bearded driver turned the power to maximum, and the engine made a humming sound as if it was overloaded. Finally, it began to move in a shaky and suspended state. The speed was very slow, just enough for Jinchu to lie by the window and carefully observe the situation outside.

There are so many houses here! They're so tall and big! The roads are so smooth! Are those flying in the sky aircraft?

Jinchu felt that he was gaining knowledge all the time. Although humans are weak as individuals, they are actually very creative.

Gradually, as the car drove further, the buildings below became more dilapidated and lower, and the scene became more and more desolate. Jin Chu was still watching with great interest, without any alertness at all, and then the hovercraft stopped in a desolate place.

Jin Chu looked left and right: "Is this the recycling station?"

The bearded driver opened the car door and got out, grinning grimly: "The recycling station is in front, and this is the garbage dump."

Jinchu suddenly realized: No wonder the smell here is so bad.

Bearded driver: "Get down!"

Jinchu got off the car feeling a bit puzzled. Hadn’t they arrived yet?

"Give me those two bags of yours!"

Jinchu blinked, "Why?"

"Stop talking nonsense!" The bearded driver grabbed the bag from Jinchu's hand. "It's so heavy. Did you steal the ore?"

Some minerals are very valuable, and there are many smugglers. In the past, the planet of Belfield was in chaos, with many people engaging in smuggling, illegal immigration, and even crimes, and there were many channels for selling dirty goods. Although the order has improved in the past two years, it has only turned those blatant transactions into underground transactions. The bearded driver was very excited when he thought that he could make a lot of money by reselling them.

Jin Chu grabbed the handle of the heating pad and let him pull it. The man was a little puzzled as to why this "thin" boy could remain motionless despite being pulled so hard by a man of his tall and strong build. However, as soon as this thought came to his mind, Jin Chu let go of his hand.

The bearded driver stumbled backwards and fell on his butt. At the same time, the big bag hit his chest and knocked him to the ground.

"Crack", it seemed that the sound of bones breaking was heard, but the bearded driver didn't bother to distinguish it because his eyes went black and he was hit so hard that he vomited blood.

Before passing out, he remembered the hover car's warning of "on the verge of overload", and it turned out to be true.

Jin Chu slowly walked up to him, reached out and easily picked up the big bag, looked at him and shook his head: "You are so useless, can't you just drive properly? You have to be a bad guy and steal things."

Do all human beings like to do things that are easy to get without any effort and beyond their capabilities?

"Meow." There was a sudden movement in the pocket, and a chubby half-grown orange cat with orange and white stripes came out. It jumped lightly to the ground, shook its tail and looked at Jin Chu.

As soon as it came out, Jin Chu felt his hand lighten. Although the giant cat lost a lot of weight after becoming smaller, it was not as light as a normal kitten. According to humans, this cat now weighs at least two hundred pounds, plus those silver collars and bracelets, the weight of this bag is really not light.

"Meow." It was so suffocating! The giant cat... now it should be called the orange cat, cried out in dissatisfaction. This time it was very soft and not as loud as before. In short, it was very nice. Jin Chu touched it and said, "I'm sorry for making you hold it in for so long."

"Meow." The half-grown orange cat turned its head to look at the ugly human who was fainted there. Did it want to kill him?

"Forget it." Killing people in the human world is not a good thing, but Jin Chu looked at the hovercraft on the side and said with a smile, "He wants to steal our things, so we might as well take his things."
