Yi Yi then hooked her foot around the man's neck.
"Still running? Tell me, what are you doing here, and why are you sneaking around like this!"
"I...I..."
The man was stammering when the man who had been running ahead turned back, pulled out a gleaming dagger, and stabbed at Yi.
Yi Yi dodged, and the dagger whizzed past her arm, tearing her sleeve. The pancake box in her hand fell to the ground with a thud.
You dare touch her pancakes!
That's outrageous!
Yi Yi charged straight at the man with the dagger. The man probably hadn't expected her to not only not run away but also rush towards him, and he was momentarily stunned. In that brief moment of hesitation, Yi Yi had already rushed over, grabbed his wrist, and squeezed hard. The man cried out in pain, "Ouch, ouch," and the dagger fell to the ground.
"Tell me, who are you? What are you doing here?"
"I...I..." the man stammered, and taking advantage of Yi Yi's inattention, he kicked her in the lower abdomen.
Caught off guard, Yi was kicked in the lower abdomen, causing a sharp pain. She frowned and groaned. Taking advantage of the moment, the man broke free from her grasp. Just as he was about to pick up the dagger, Yi kicked him away again. The man had no choice but to run away.
"Stop right there! Don't run!" Yi Yi recovered and tried to chase after him. Just then, the man she had kicked to the ground got up again and hugged her tightly.
"Hehe, you can't escape now!"
Yi glanced at the groping hand wrapped around her waist, winced in disgust, and stomped down on it without hesitation. The man groaned, and Yi bent her arm again, striking him hard backward. The man cried out and stumbled back a few steps.
Just then, a giant net suddenly descended from the sky, completely enveloping Yi Yi. Soon, the two men from before rushed over and pulled the net away, trapping Yi Yi inside, unable to escape no matter how she moved.
"here you go."
A smug voice rang out from not far away. This was followed by increasingly close footsteps. A sinisterly grinning face appeared even more grotesque and terrifying in the night.
"Liang Xiaoru?"
