Arno glanced at her casually, his expression unmoved.
This leader of the Spirit Fox Clan was even more cold-blooded and ruthless than Mu Nanxun had imagined.
"Looks like getting the key was pointless for me." Mu Nanxun's voice was restrained, with a hint of coldness in it.
A smug look appeared on Arno's face as he laughed, "Don't blame me. Even my own granddaughter didn't know that besides the key inside the blue spider's body, I had another way to open these chains."
"Unfortunately, I killed all the blue spiders you kept. And..."
Mu Nanxun paused, then his tone turned somber, "The people inside are dead too."
"If they're dead, they're dead. Humans are meant to die! Especially men, it would be better if they were all extinct!"
Contrary to Mu Nanxun's expectations, Arno showed no grief or regret over the person's death; instead, he was filled with intense hatred and anger.
Could it be that he guessed wrong, and that Arnold and that man didn't have the relationship he imagined?
Mu Nanxun had no time to dwell on this anymore and cut to the chase, "Let's make a trade. You release Yi Yi and Chen Dudu..."
