Why are there so many fierce-looking men dressed in black at this old man's birthday banquet?
Could it be some special arrangement?
As everyone wondered what was happening, the group of people dressed in black parted from both sides, clearing a path in the middle. Xiao Shenxing, with his hands behind his back, slowly walked out from behind the crowd.
The group looked at each other, even more confused about the current situation.

What does this mean? What does this have to do with Xiao Jinyan?!
Everyone was completely bewildered, then turned to stare at Xiao Jinyan.
Xiao Jinyan remained calm and instead sat down at the table, crossing his legs and looking relaxed and content.
The air fell silent as everyone held their breath, ready to see how Xiao Jinyan would respond.
No matter how impatient or curious the others were, Xiao Jinyan remained silent. She even poured herself a glass of red wine and savored it slowly.
His slow, deliberate manner infuriated the old man. Moreover, the old man had never really liked Xiao Jinyan.
Many people, including some outsiders, knew that the old man disliked Xiao Jinyan. But few knew that the old man's dislike for Xiao Jinyan wasn't because of Xiao Jinyan herself.
