"Heh," Yi Yi sneered. How come she never knew Jiang Shanshan had such a talent for twisting the truth? She used to think that fox spirits weren't as cunning and scheming as humans, but now it seemed she hadn't seen through her all along. So when Jiang Shanshan saw Yi Yi's demeanor change from her usual amiable self to one of cold and terrifying eyes, she was completely stunned. Her throat felt like it was blocked, and she couldn't utter a single complete sentence.

If he accidentally scratches your face, you'll regret it. After all, when Mao Mao gets angry, he'll even bite himself."
Upon hearing this, Jiang Shanshan shrank into the corner, touching her face in fear. That beast's claws were so sharp; it was truly possible they might have scratched her beautiful face.
"Mao Mao, let's go."
"We can't leave!"
The deep, resonant voice came from behind Yi Yi.
Upon hearing the voice, Yi Yi was first stunned, her whole body frozen, before she turned her head in disbelief. Chen Dudu was just as shocked as she was.
Jiang Shanshan, on the other hand, lit up when she saw the newcomer, instantly transforming from timid and hesitant to smug and triumphant. She then quickly and obediently approached him, feigning a wronged expression.
"Grandma, you've finally come. This Yi Yi and Chen Dudu, they brought a human here from somewhere. I tried to persuade them to send this human away, but they not only refused, they also threatened me, saying they would kill me. Grandma, you have to do me a favor."
Having already witnessed Jiang Shanshan's two-faced nature, Yi Yi wasn't surprised that she could say such things now. However... she never expected that standing next to Grandma Arno was her best friend—Yu'er.
