Upon hearing this, Chen Dudu shook her head, "No."
He was only focused on saving Yi Yi at the time, and had no time to care about anything else. Besides, even if he had seen Xia Bingqing, he might not have saved her.
His selfless dedication has always been solely for Yi Yi.
Yi Yi felt a mix of emotions. She disliked Xia Bingqing, even hated her. But despite her dislike, she didn't want to bear the burden of a life lost.

Yu'er's voice rang out behind Yi Yi.

Yu'er shifted her body to the side, and Yi Yi missed her target.

"I'm holding the medicine in my hand, what if I spill it?"
Yi Yi then realized that Yu'er was indeed holding a "bowl" made of large leaves, filled with black and bitter medicine.
"Is this for me? Thank you, Yu'er." Yi reached out with a grin, but Yu'er raised a hand to stop her. "This isn't for you."
"If it's not for me, then who is it for? Has anyone else been injured?"
"Don't you know, this is for..."
"It's for me." Chen Dudu suddenly interrupted Yu'er. She then took the "bowl" from Yu'er's hand and drank the medicine inside in one gulp, as if it were plain water.
Yu'er was stunned. "Dudu, what's wrong with you...?"
"Dudu, why did you take medicine? Are you injured or sick?"
"It's nothing, just a bit of a cold." Chen Dudu concealed the slight panic in her eyes and winked at Yu'er. The latter swallowed the words she hadn't had a chance to say.
After finishing the bowl of medicine, Chen Dudu looked a little uneasy and stammered, "Yi Yi, you're injured, so rest here first and don't wander around. I have something to do, I'll come see you again in a while."
"Hmm." Yi nodded, feeling for some reason that Chen Dudu was acting strangely. Yu'er also felt something was off; Chen Dudu's attitude towards her was noticeably more distant than before.
Chen Dudu smiled and walked away with his hands behind his back. He didn't walk fast, his steps unsteady, and his gray tail drooped low behind him.
"Dudu, I'll go with you." Yu'er called out in Chen Dudu's direction, followed him for a few steps, and then seemed to remember something, so she jogged a few steps to Yi Yi and looked at her solemnly.
Yi Yi had never seen Yu'er with such a serious expression before, and she even forgot to greet her.

In short, Yi Yi felt a tightness in her chest, as if something was blocking her throat, making it hard to breathe. She didn't blame Yu'er; Yu'er was right, she had indeed caused Chen Dudu too much trouble.
"I..." Yi Yi opened her mouth, wanting to explain something, but Yu'er raised her hand to interrupt her.
