Yi thought about calling to ask, but it was already late, and she figured Li Ma and the others were getting ready for bed, so she didn't want to disturb them. Then she thought, if Li Ma and the others had any news, they would probably tell her immediately.

His voice was deliberately lowered.
Yi Yi looked worried and hesitated before speaking, "Mu Mu, there's something I need to tell you, it's very strange."
"What's wrong?"
The other person stopped joking and became serious.
Just as Yi Yi was about to speak, she heard other voices over there. However, they were speaking a different language, which Yi Yi couldn't understand.
Mu Nanxun replied briefly in the same language, then turned his gaze back to Yi Yi.
"Yi Yi, I'm here. Go ahead and speak."
Those few simple words reassured Yi Yi a lot.
"Is there anyone else on your end?" Yi asked.
Mu Nanxun nodded slightly, "Yes, there is a three-way video conference, which just started recently."
"Is it a very important meeting?"
"Um."
"Then why did you answer my video call? Hang up now and we can talk after you're done on your end."
Yi Yi was busy hanging up the phone. Mu Nanxun wouldn't allow it, "No, my wife's matter is of paramount importance, more important than any meeting."
Mu Nanxun didn't continue the topic of the video conference, but instead picked up where Yi Yi left off, asking, "Didn't you say you were going to tell me something strange? What is it? Is it something I need to handle?"
Yi opened her mouth, but the words she wanted to say wouldn't come out.
He's so busy right now, why bring up such trivial things? Even if I told him, he couldn't possibly come back immediately to deal with it; it would be useless and would only cause him unnecessary worry.
She can handle small things herself.
"Nothing, nothing strange. I just wanted to tell you that I miss you and want to see you soon. That's all, I'm going to sleep now, goodnight."
Before Mu Nanxun could react, Yi Yi quickly hung up the phone. She was worried that if she delayed any longer, he would notice something.
Forget it, I shouldn't think about it too much for now. I should get some sleep and talk about it tomorrow.
With this matter on her mind, Yi couldn't sleep soundly. She finally drifted off to sleep in the early hours of the morning. When she woke up, it was already broad daylight. Luckily, it was Saturday, so she didn't have to get up early for work.
After fully waking up, she dressed and washed up as usual, then went downstairs for breakfast.
In the corridors, stairwells, and even the servants in the lobby, everyone quickly lowered their heads and avoided her as if she were a plague demon.
