Chen Dudu was speechless. What was he afraid of?
"Didn't President Mu say that he went to the company to handle an urgent matter and will be back soon? Let's wait for him to return before we leave."
"Dudu, is that okay?"
Yi blinked, her face still somewhat pale.
He could never bear to refuse her soft, pleading words. Besides, her body had just suffered an injury and was still somewhat weak, needing time to recover in the hospital. He worried that if they went back now, she might not be able to keep going on the way.
Just as he hesitated, a large group of people carrying various machines suddenly rushed into the ward. Dozens of people crowded the originally spacious ward to the point of being impassable.
They either carried black machines on their shoulders or held something that looked like a "stick" in their hands, and excitedly rushed towards them.
Chen Dudu instinctively shielded Yi Yi, who was on the hospital bed, behind her, while Yu'er was so frightened that she dropped the banana she was holding that she hadn't finished eating.
"Who are you? This is a hospital ward, what are you doing here!"
"Excuse me, is the person in the hospital bed named Yi Yi?"
Someone in the crowd asked a question.
Chen Dudu didn't know who the newcomers were, so she watched them warily without saying a word.
To everyone's surprise, Yu'er quickly nodded in agreement, "Yes, who are you?"

Immediately, almost everyone swarmed around them, pointing their black "sticks" at them, while those carrying "weapons" on their shoulders also aimed at them, creating a series of "click-clack" sounds.

The barrage of questions left Yi Yi and her team completely bewildered and unable to keep up.
Who are these people? Are those things they're carrying weapons? Aside from flashing when they click, they don't seem to have any offensive capabilities. And why are they asking such strange questions? Do they know something?
"Please don't evade the question, answer it directly."
Someone pulled out a photo from their phone and shoved it in front of Yi Yi's face. "Is this you? Can you explain why you're in the women's restroom like this? Is this your real self?"
"Why is there a man lying on the ground? Was he frightened by your real appearance?"
"What motive do you have for infiltrating the human world disguised like this? I know, you're fox spirits, you disguise yourselves as humans to seduce people, right? No wonder you're so beautiful!"
