Ouyang, due to his close relationship with Mu Nanxun, was a frequent visitor to Rose Manor. However, the others were visiting the manor for the first time, marveling at its beautiful and grand environment, which resembled a paradise.
Apart from Ouyang, who addressed Mu Nanxun as "Old Mu" without any hesitation, everyone else respectfully called Mu Nanxun "President Mu," while curiously observing Yi Yi beside him.
Yi Yi was the only lady present at the manor today, and standing beside Mu Nanxun, she naturally attracted the most attention. A woman Mu Nanxun would bring along must either be exceptionally beautiful or have a special relationship with him. Since Mu Nanxun hadn't spoken, they didn't dare ask any further questions.
"Old Mu, why don't you introduce 'Little Confused' to everyone? Look at these kids, their eyes are practically glued to 'Little Confused'." Ouyang winked at Yi Yi.
Yi recognized Ouyang as the man who had saved her on the street that day, and greeted him with a sweet smile, "Hello, Ouyang, thank you for saving me that day."
"You're welcome. It would be my honor to go through fire and water for a beauty..." Before he could finish his sentence, Mu Nanxun shot him a warning glare, startling Ouyang into swallowing the rest of his words. *Cough cough cough* Was it really necessary? It was just a joke.
Mu Nanxun reached out and pulled Yi Yi into his arms. Their intimate manner spoke volumes. He announced, "This is the mistress of Rose Manor."
"Mistress..." Yi Yi pondered these words, a strange feeling rising in her heart. The phrase "mistress" seemed more solemn and more expressive than "I like you."
The group exchanged glances, and everyone understood each other perfectly.
"I thought this young lady had a remarkable air about her, turns out she's Mr. Mu's..."
"Yes, yes, yes, this young lady and President Mu are a perfect match, making us single men quite envious."
"Looks like we didn't come here to relax today, but to be fed dog food (a Chinese slang term for witnessing public displays of affection). Hahaha."
Mu Nanxun never liked such flattery, but since he was in a good mood, he led everyone, "Please move to the restaurant, everyone. The food and drinks are ready."
"Alright, alright, Mr. Mu, please." Zhao Jun, who wore glasses and had returned from studying abroad, had a good relationship with Ouyang because they had been classmates for a while.
Mu Nanxun led the way, holding Yi Yi's hand, with Ouyang following closely behind, and the rest of the group walking and looking around.
"Ouyang, before we came here I was wondering why we didn't gather at the Bi Palace in the city, which has top-notch facilities and services, and instead came all the way here. Now I realize I was just ignorant," Zhao Jun said, inwardly marveling at the villa's unique charm. Mu Nanxun's villa was indeed different; it was far superior to the so-called high-end Bi Palace.
“No, no, no,” Ouyang shook his head, “that’s only one aspect.”
"What's the second one?" Zhao Jun asked, puzzled.
Before Ouyang could reply, Zhang He, a man with neatly combed hair walking next to Zhao Jun, blurted out, "No way, you don't even know about this? Someone died at the Bi Palace!"
"Someone died?!" Zhao Jun and several other unsuspecting men exclaimed in unison.
Zhang He was particularly pleased with their exaggerated reaction, as his family was in the media industry and controlled all kinds of news, big and small, in Philadelphia.
