The others laughed, staring at the fifth brother with complicated expressions. Their gazes were like those of someone looking at an outsider—disdainful, contemptuous, and tinged with mockery.
Yi Yi no longer dared to look at Lao Wu's face. Anyone would feel like they'd been stabbed in the back if someone pointed a finger at them like that.
"You'd like to, but your boss doesn't think so."
Yi Yi didn't know where she got the courage to confront Abin directly, but as soon as she said it, she was terrified.
These people are ruthless killers; if she dares to mock them like that, she'll be skinned alive!
But then she thought, these people are just doing things for money. Without orders from their superiors, they probably won't take her life for the time being.

The old man grabbed Yi Yi from behind Lao Wu and swung his fist at her head.

Yi Yi glared at Lao Wu through gritted teeth. How could this guy have no humanity at all, watching his savior being bullied! That stinky stone, she should never have saved him; she should have let him get bitten by a snake and cursed to death by this man!
The fifth brother didn't even glance at her. Yi Yi was both angry and scared, and subconsciously closed her eyes and covered them with her hands.
However... the expected pain never came.
That's strange. Could it be that this old man looks tough but is actually just all show and no substance, and that she didn't feel a thing when he punched her in the head?

The man who had been hit angrily shoved Ah Bin, and then two more people started pushing and shoving each other.

Ah Bin reached out and grabbed the man's clothes. The man tried to block him for a while, but when he realized he couldn't, he punched Ah Bin in the face.
Ah Bin coughed up a mouthful of blood; the punch had hit him hard.

For a short time, the dozen or so people in the small house were pushing, shoving, and cursing at each other.
Yi Yi huddled in the corner, dumbfounded as she watched the group of people suddenly go berserk. What... what's going on?
Before long, the group left the room and went to a more open area to continue their fight.
"This...they..."
Yi pointed to the group of people still fighting fiercely outside and looked at Lao Wu with a puzzled expression.
