The third brother, Li Muhao, heard every word of the second brother, Li Muchen's, complaints. His eyes suddenly lit up, a sly glint in them, and a mischievous thought popped into his head.
Li Muhao moved closer to Li Muchen and asked, "Second brother, are you serious about what you said?"
Li Muchen barely thought it through before saying without hesitation:
"Of course I'm serious! I don't believe that little brat can tell fortunes!"
Because he didn't know how to treat Xiao Yanbao, he simply continued with his previous attitude.
He always seems to disapprove of his younger sister.
The eldest brother, Li Muxing, glanced at Li Muchen and said, "Then you should quickly have your sister do a divination for you and see if she's accurate or not. That way, you can convince me with facts!"
Anyway, the things that the younger sister helped them calculate have basically all shown some signs.
The little one has just started learning fortune telling, and he's already doing it quite well.
"I won't let her do my fortune telling!"
Li Muchen snorted, his tone extremely arrogant: "I don't have time to waste on her nonsense!"
The eldest brother and his few younger brothers always surrounded that little girl, spoiling her, coaxing her, and indulging her, treating her like a little princess.
The second child completely disapproved.
She's just a little sister, isn't she? Is she really that sweet?
The fourth sister, Li Muhan, understood what her eldest and third brothers meant, and deliberately provoked Li Muchen, saying, "Second brother, you're not afraid, are you?"
Upon hearing this, Li Muchen frowned, his emotions becoming somewhat agitated, and asked in return:
"Why wouldn't I dare? What is there to be afraid of?"
The fifth brother, Li Mufeng, seized the opportunity to fan the flames, saying, "Second brother is probably worried that his sister has figured things out, and that all the pocket money he's worked so hard to save will be gone! That's why he chickened out!"
Following up on Fifth Brother's words, Sixth Brother Li Mushen continued to fan the flames, saying, "It's normal for Second Brother to back down. After all, it's not easy for him to save up his pocket money. We shouldn't look down on him because of that."
The seventh brother, Li Mujun, looked at him with disdain and snorted, "Someone is just stubborn, but actually a coward, as timid as a mouse!"
This fire has been completely ignited!
"All of you shut up!"
Li Muchen angrily yelled at his younger brothers, "Grandpa always says we should respect the elderly and care for the young, and be friendly and respectful to our elder brothers. You guys are too disrespectful to your elder brothers!"
Upon hearing this, the eldest brother, Li Muxing, gracefully crossed his arms and gave Li Muchen a lukewarm look.
"Second brother, you have the least right to say these words. When have you ever respected the elderly or cared for the young? It's okay if you don't dare to let your sister do it, we will try not to laugh at you."
"you……"
Li Muchen suddenly felt like he was being forced into a corner, as if he would become a coward if he didn't consult Xiao Yanbao for a fortune telling.
"Fine, fine! Who's afraid of who? Anyone who backs down is a coward!"
After saying that, he snorted loudly and turned to look for Xiao Yanbao.
At that moment, the little girl was studying her copper coins with great concentration.
Li Muchen coughed loudly, attracting Xiao Yanbao's attention.
The little girl looked up at her second brother, who rarely came near her, her eyes filled with confusion and doubt.
"Tell my fortune too!"
Li Muchen got straight to the point, speaking in a somewhat commanding tone.
His tone wasn't very friendly, but Xiao Yanbao was very magnanimous and didn't hold it against him.
"Second brother, what do you want to calculate?"
The soft, sweet voice reached Li Muchen's ears.
"What do you mean..."
Li Muchen was slightly taken aback. He hadn't thought clearly about what he wanted to calculate before rushing over in his excitement. He inadvertently glanced at the game interface on his phone and blurted out:
"Can you predict whether I can win my next game?"
"good!"
Little Yanbao readily nodded, handed her three copper coins to Li Muchen, and said in her childish voice, "Then please toss the coins, Second Brother!"
"How do I throw it?" Li Muchen asked, somewhat bewildered.
The little boy patiently explained, "Second brother just needs to keep thinking about the thing he wants to calculate, then scatter three copper coins on the table, and repeat this six times."
As soon as the sound faded, Xiao Yanbao cupped her cheeks in her hands and waited quietly for Li Muchen to toss the coin.
Her big eyes blinked, holding a hint of joy.
Although her second brother's attitude towards her was still cold, she could sense that he no longer harbored the same hostility towards her as before.
That's it?
Li Muchen scoffed and began to shake the three copper coins in his palm, but Xiao Yanbao stopped him.
His blatant perfunctory attitude was clearly seen by the little boy.
"Second brother, you must be sincere. If you are not sincere, I cannot perform the divination for you, and there may even be unpredictable results."
Xiao Yanbao sensed the disdain in Li Muchen's voice, which is why she interrupted him to remind him.
Li Muchen paused for a moment, then calmed himself down and began to shake the copper coin in his hand very seriously.
Without realizing it, I was being led by the nose by the little dumpling in front of me, probably because I witnessed her abilities during the Ghost Festival.
Subtly, Li Muchen had actually begun to believe Xiao Yanbao to some extent...
With a clatter, three copper coins scattered on the table, one tails and two heads. Li Muchen looked up at Xiao Yanbao and raised his long eyebrows at her, as if to say that he had already tossed the coins once.
Xiao Yanbao nodded gently, signaling him to continue, and then Li Muchen repeated it five times in the same way.
