Li Mujun stared in shock at the golden roof of the main hall, while her brothers beside her also exclaimed in astonishment.
"Everyone, please refrain from wandering around today. Ling Feng and Ling Qi will take you to your bedrooms later. If you need anything, just ask them. I'm a bit tired, so I'll go back and rest first."
Master Xu stood up, bowed to the Li family, and then walked out of the kitchen with the help of his eldest disciple.
Seeing that Master Xu had left, Liang Xunling glanced at the chattering children and, noticing that everyone had finished eating, immediately addressed her fellow disciples, Ling Feng and Ling Qi.
"We will have to trouble you two Taoist priests to take us to our bedrooms to rest!"
Ling Feng did not show his playful nature in front of the adults. Instead, he nodded obediently like his junior brother Ling Qi beside him. Then he said to everyone, "Follow me," and took the lead out of the kitchen. He walked through the vermilion-lacquered wooden corridor towards the bedroom opposite.
Experiencing the Thunderfire Refining Hall up close in the courtyard is a completely different feeling from being in the kitchen. The pressure from the heavens is overwhelming, as if the lightning and fireballs above the golden hall will pounce on everyone at any moment.
Seeing everyone walking through the corridor amidst thunder and lightning, and occasionally startled by the deafening roar of lightning striking the main hall, Ling Qi immediately smiled and comforted them.
"Don't be afraid, everyone. It's very safe here! The lightning and fire will only roll above the Golden Hall and will not fall to the ground or harm you."
Although Ling Qi explained it this way, the group was not reassured and continued to watch the golden lightning strikes with trepidation until they went into their respective rooms as arranged by Ling Feng.
The Taoist temple didn't have many bedrooms to begin with, so Liang Xunling and Zhong Jingyi had to stay in one bedroom with Xiao Yanbao and Xiao Mulang. There seemed to be no entertainment in the Taoist temple. All the brothers were peering out of the bedroom window at the lightning that kept falling from the sky, and they were all discussing what each bolt of lightning looked like.
Ling Feng tiptoed to the bedroom where the seven brothers lived, then quickly walked a few steps behind Li Muchen and gently patted Li Muchen's shoulder.
"Hey bro, wanna help me rank up?"
Li Muchen had been guessing that Ling Feng might come to him that night to duo queue and rank up, but he didn't expect the other party to come so early.
However, before Li Muchen could speak, Li Mufeng took out his phone and said softly.
"Master Lingfeng, could you help me out? I want to reach the King rank!"

Immediately following, a second clap of thunder exploded in the courtyard of the Taoist temple, and a golden light instantly overshadowed the lights inside the house, illuminating the entire temple with a golden glow.

Just then, Li Mujun took out his phone and patted everyone in the room before sending the video to Zhong Jingyi. In the time it took him to send the WeChat message, more than a dozen bolts of lightning struck around the bedroom where Xiao Yanbao was.
