Chapter 463 You Are Unkind and I Am Unjust
Capital city, imperial palace.
The sleeping emperor suddenly woke up with a cry and sat up in a cold sweat.
"Gao Sui!" He shouted while rubbing his eyebrows.
Footsteps were heard from outside, and a strange voice said cautiously: "Your Majesty, it's your servant."
The emperor then remembered that Gao Sui had already left the palace.
"Your Majesty," the person outside whispered, "The Queen Mother has just returned to the palace."
"So fast?" The emperor sneered, "She really is extremely anxious!"
The emperor was right. The empress dowager was worried about the safety of the Du family. After leaving Heihe City, she sent people on a journey day and night to rush back to the capital.
The emperor got up from the bed and ordered, "Change my clothes!"
"Your Majesty, it's still early. Why are you getting up so soon?" The eunuch walked in bowing.

The Queen Mother came angrily with several palace maids.

With a creak, the door opened.
