Chapter 7 Uncle Seven is Wrong

Helian Yu's hands were dry, thin and black, while the white steamed buns were plump and soft, giving a strong stimulation to the eyes.

"Here you go!"

Seeing Chang An in a daze, Helian Yu waved her little hand at him, but when she saw her fingers turning black, she quickly retracted her hand.

She couldn't help but blushing, and said, "I washed my hands. They are frozen, and I can't wash them clean with cold water."

Chang An pondered for a moment, his eyes fell on the top of Helian Yu's head, and he slowly squatted in front of her and took the steamed bun she handed over. "I know that in the past, when life was difficult, my sisters and brothers also suffered from frostbite. They needed hot water to clean it, but it recurred every year and was difficult to eradicate."

"Chang'an, I am a little palace maid, why are you calling me a slave?"

Helian Yu didn't dare to torture Chang An, because she knew that Chang An would grow up to be a perverted eunuch and abuse all those who bullied him.

She also wanted to live safely until the fall of Daxia, and she wanted to stay as far away from people like Chang An as possible.

Chang An sat next to Helian Yu, nibbling on a steamed bun in small bites. His thick eyelashes like crow feathers blocked his pupils like a dry well.

He did not refute Helian Yu, nor did he agree to anything.

Helian Yu supported her chin and watched Chang An chewing steamed buns. After she calmed down, she smelled a faint floral scent on Chang An.

"Chang'an, you smell so good, did you put on some ointment?"

She gave him half a steamed bun and applied some of his ointment. Wasn't that too much?

Helian Yu secretly reminded: "It smells so good."

Chang An raised his eyelids, and his cheeks suddenly flushed, "Slave... I..."

Seeing Chang An hesitating, Helian Yu thought he didn't want to give it to him, so he quickly waved his hand and said, "I'm just curious. Don't say it if it's inconvenient."

Chang An closed his mouth and drooped his eyelids. His face was covered with bruises and he looked extremely pitiful.

However, no matter how pitiful he was, Helian Yu didn't want to have anything to do with him, especially -

"Chang'an, I can't finish this half bun. I'm not giving it to you out of pity."

"This isn't a favor. When we separate in a while, just pretend you haven't seen me, okay?"

Chang An's fingers suddenly tightened, and his fingertips turned white. He silently drew an arc, which disappeared in an instant. He suddenly raised his head, staring at Helian Yu with red eyes.

"Okay, I will definitely not bring trouble to the girl. From today on, I will pretend that I have never seen her before."

Helian Yu: Very good, a threat! A threat from the future supervisor of the East Factory, a threat from the future perverted eunuch.

Would Helianyu be afraid of such a threat? Of course she——

Afraid.

"Okay, okay, if you don't mind, just stay in the cold palace with me for a while."

Helian Yu had no way to deal with a pervert like Chang An. Now, she had no magical powers and was still a little waste who could be bullied by everyone in the palace. She must not make enemies.

"I'll tell you, the cold palace is no worse than the violent palace... The Emperor's Yangxin Palace has nothing. If you don't want to eat stale steamed buns, you have to steal from the imperial kitchen. The cold palace also has no hot water, no clothes, and is full of snakes, rats, and spiders."

Helian Yu said all this in a rush, hoping that Chang An would give up. With his ability, he could easily climb to a high position by joining any master in the palace. There was no need for him to go back to the cold palace with her to suffer.

"The girl has suffered." Chang An said with tears in his eyes.

Helian Yu: You're such a pervert! You're such a showman!

"It's just a hard life." Helian Yu smiled slightly.

Being involved with Chang An, she felt that it was unlikely that she could survive safely until the fall of Da Xia.

Life has become even more miserable.

Helian Yu took Chang An back to the cold palace. As they turned a corner, they could see a tall figure standing at the door of the cold palace, dressed in gorgeous clothes, looking mighty and majestic.

Helian Yu and Chang An walked closer. Chang An deliberately lagged behind Helian Yu by one step and followed beside her, following the etiquette of master and servant.

"Seventh Prince, is this the clothes you gave me?" Helian Yu looked at the new clothes in Helian Su's hands, looking forward to it.

"Well, they are just a few cotton robes. Look at how you want to snatch them away. It's really embarrassing!"

Helian Yu was furious, "Take it away! I don't want it!"

She wrote a diary! Cursing the Seventh Prince to death!

Then I use the points earned from writing the diary to exchange for cotton-padded clothes, hum!

Helian Su guessed Helian Yu's little thoughts, and in order to let her save points to exchange for the elixir of immortality, he quickly bowed his head and apologized, "Seventh Uncle is wrong, okay? Take it."

Helian Su stuffed clothes into Helian Yu's arms, saying "Seventh Uncle is wrong" over and over again, which was very easy for him to say.

Five steps away, Chang An lowered his head, unable to conceal the ambition in his dark phoenix eyes, and his drooping hands were clenched into fists.

He knew that his godfather had made the right bet, and so had he.

Throughout the dynasties, emperors would never make mistakes; or, in other words, emperors would know their mistakes and correct them, but they would not admit they were wrong.

Now, His Majesty is admitting his mistake, although he said it as the Seventh Prince, but he did say the word "wrong" with all his might.

Helian Su looked at Chang An, who was standing respectfully a few steps away, with a smile on his face, "I remember that you used to serve in the Yangxin Palace?"

Chang An knelt down hurriedly and acted with Helian Su, "Thank you for your concern, Your Majesty. I did serve in the Yangxin Palace. It was because I was dishonest that I displeased my godfather, Eunuch Chang Hai, and was expelled from the Yangxin Palace."

"Heh." Helian Su chuckled with an ambiguous meaning, "Your godfather is a smart man. Get up, and stay here to take care of you in the future--"

"No need." Helian Yu pulled Helian Su's thigh, interrupting him from wanting to keep Chang An. "Your Highness, judging from his appearance, he will definitely have great fortune in the future. Why don't you take him back? It will definitely be better for Chang An to follow you than to suffer in the cold palace."

Chang An lowered his head even more, and his eyes suddenly felt hot for no reason.

Helian Suze bent down and pinched Helian Yu's face lightly, raised his eyebrows and taught: "You would rather suffer yourself than fight for a future for these slaves. How can you be so kind?"

"Little girl, Uncle Seven will teach you that the most unacceptable thing in the palace is useless kindness."

"You will be happy with the people taught by Chang Hai. Besides, this is the cold palace. Even if he has dirty hands, he can't steal anything from you."

Chang An bowed his head to the ground, waiting for Helian Yu to make the final arrangements for him.

One word determines life or death.

If Helian Yu didn't keep him, he would have no way out but death.

Helian Yu slapped Helian Su's hand away and said, "Don't pinch my face."

"Little girl, how much of what I said did you listen to?"

Helian Su was very disappointed with Helian Yu, but Helian Yu was his unrecognized daughter, and she was also advised by an immortal that she could not be beaten or scolded, and she would show her claws if he said a word to her.

Who in the palace doesn't respect and fear him? Who doesn't want to fight for a word from him?

The only difference was this little girl. If he wanted to say a few more words to her, he had to beg her. And she just ignored all the truths he told her!

"Uncle Qi, the emperor is the one who makes the decisions in the palace, right? Are you overstepping your authority?"

Helian Su was slightly startled, then laughed loudly, rubbed Helian Yu's little head, and scolded with a smile: "Ghost!"

After laughing, he lowered his eyes and glanced at Chang An, "Get up, follow the young master in the future, and never have any second thoughts."

Helian Yu: "I don't... um..."

Helian Su stretched out his big hand and covered Helian Yu's little mouth.

"No matter what the situation, she is still the princess of Daxia."

Chang An kowtowed to Helian Yu:

"Your servant Chang An swears allegiance to Da Xia and the princess until death."

Helian Yu: Is the Seventh Prince blatantly planning a rebellion? Is she a princess? When will it be his turn to decide? (End of this chapter)
