"Ledger?"
Huayang's voice turned cold, and she raised her hand and threw out a dagger, stabbing the old man in the heart.
'Puff'
The dagger pierced into the chest, and the scarlet blood instantly soaked the clothes on the chest.
The little old man groaned and struggled, still muttering to himself about the account book.
Hua Yang walked up to the old man, stretched out her toes, stepped on the handle of the dagger, applied a little force, and chuckled: "Master Li, does it hurt?"
"It would be extremely painful if the knife was inserted into the heart little by little, right?"
"But you will probably like it, very much!"
Huayang continued to push on her toes, and her black eyes above the veil were very cold.
“Mercy…spare my life…”
She sneered, looking at the old man lying on the ground like an ant, "Forgive? Lord Li, why didn't I see you forgiving me when I first performed at Lord Fang's house? Aren't you an old subordinate of my father? Why don't I see any trace of old feelings for you?"
Huayang raised her foot and stepped on the dagger hard, leaving only the handle outside.
After a few breaths, the courtyard fell silent.
Huayang turned around and walked gracefully to the eaves. She lowered her eyebrows and looked at Xingchun who was tied up. "Tell me, if you disappear, will your princess look for you?"
Xingchun stared at Huayang, and although he was tied up, he still had a strong character: "Don't try to use me to hurt my master! I just heard that you are Miss Huayang from the Jiaofang Bureau. I know your identity. Aren't you from the Hua family that was confiscated that year!"
"I know exactly what you are planning! My master is young but smart, so he won't fall for your trick!"
'Pop'
Huayang stretched out his hand and hit Xingchun on the cheek, knocking her head crooked.
"Your master won't be fooled? Haha." Huayang raised her foot and stepped on Xingchun's foot, with contempt and sarcasm in her eyes, "Not being fooled only shows that you have a cheap life! How could the master care about the death of a lowly palace maid?"
Xingchun's face was red and swollen, and it was obvious that Huayang had used a lot of strength.
"No matter how worthless my life is, I am still my master's, and you have no right to interfere." Xingchun glared at Huayang. The pain in her toes made her face pale, and cold sweat broke out on her forehead. She forced herself to speak complete sentences, "My master is a stranger to you, and she is still young. You dare to harm her, you will not die well!"
Huayang sneered, lowered her eyes to look at Xingchun's ankle, and kicked it lightly. When she heard Xingchun groan, she laughed again.
"As expected of someone who came from the palace, even though she is a servant, her body is still very delicate."
"The palace is so dirty. Tell me, which guard or eunuch have you ever attached yourself to?"
"Look at your good looks. If you were in the Jiaofang Bureau, you would be a lovable girl."
Xingchun felt dizzy from the pain and his ears were ringing. He tried hard not to faint.
Seeing her like this, Hua Yang sneered, "I really don't know why you are so stubborn. The dog emperor gave Princess Zhaoyang a loyal servant like you, which means he loves her very much. If he kills her, the dog emperor will be in agony."
Xingchun bit the tip of his tongue, forcing himself to wake up, his voice hoarse, his breath weak: "My master just returned to Beijing, and has never had any contact with your Hua family!"
"So what? The son pays for the father's debt! If I can't kill him, I'll kill his most beloved daughter!" Hua Yang's eyes were fierce, hiding the strong hatred. "There are more than 400 people in my Hua family. All the males were beheaded. No one survived! Even my infant brother was not spared!"
"The dog emperor has no humanity, and all his Helian family deserve to die!"
"Born in the royal family, Princess Zhaoyang deserves to die!"
Huayang was filled with anger and flew into a rage.
Then he slowly squatted down, pinched Xingchun's chin with his fingers, and looked at her with a smile, his eyes were like a dry well, and as cold as winter.
"You must have gained a lot by being the princess's lackey, right? You are not innocent if you die, but you have to watch your princess die with your own eyes!"
'Pop'
"You are a loyal servant. You watched your princess die with your own eyes. Remember her face and keep her company on the road to the underworld."
Huayang raised her hand, and a man in black clothes and a silver mask stepped forward.
"Are all the people in the surrounding alleys present?"
"Miss, five hundred assassins are ready to catch the turtles in the jar and capture them all in one fell swoop."
A smile appeared in Huayang's eyes, and seeing Xingchun staring blankly, her gaze instantly turned cold. She reached out and pinched Xingchun's philtrum until Xingchun's face was swollen and he tried hard to open his eyelids to look at her with hatred.
"You can't sleep. You have to watch with your own eyes how we kill your princess."
"Guess when your princess will arrive? You and I have been talking here for a long time, it's so boring."
"If your princess doesn't come, I'll beat you to death. How pitiful."
Xingchun just felt irritated and didn't bother to pay attention to Huayang. He coldly spat out two words: "You are sick."
Then he tilted his head and stared at the weeds in the corner.
Huayang was scolded, so she raised her hand and slapped Xingchun again, causing a trace of blood to flow from the corner of Xingchun's lips.
"Who do you think you are? You are just a lowly palace maid!"
"Someone, go outside and see why Princess Zhaoyang hasn't been brought in yet! You're not doing your job well! When you come back, you'll be punished with thirty military sticks!"
The silver-faced man in black said in a rough voice: "I will go and take a look."
The entrance of the alley.
Helian Yu nestled in Chang Zuo's arms, holding a candy in his hand. He took a bite, his little face puffed up, and looked at the old woman beside him.
"Is this the place?"
The old woman hunched over and nodded. Her gray hair and deep wrinkles on her face only highlighted her age and kindness. "Yes, it's right here. The girl fainted on the roadside for some reason, and my daughter-in-law happened to see her. She was kind-hearted and took her home. So I thought I'd try my luck on the street, maybe I could meet her family!"
The old woman coughed twice and looked at Helian Yu lovingly: "That girl is lucky to have a master as loving as Miss!"
Chang Zuo hugged Helian Yu, squeezed a finger into Helian Yu's palm, and wrote two words: Killer.
Helian Yu held Chang Zuo's fingers and looked at Ci Dong and the others, "Ci Dong, go find Sister Ya and the others and tell them that you found Xing Chun. Ask them to wait in the teahouse for a while."
"Yingyue Caiyun, I want to eat the cakes from the Zhao family on West Street, the steamed buns from the Wang family, and the beautiful sachets! I want the peach blossom ones! Buy a few more and share them with everyone when you get back. Go quickly! Go to Shangyang Tower and order a table of dishes. There must be steamed cheese with sugar and yam cakes! Hurry up. I'll bring Xingchun to Shangyang Tower to find you later."
The three of them agreed and went to do their respective tasks.
Helian Yu looked at the old woman with a smile: "Which family is it? Please lead the way."
The old woman smiled, hunched forward, and glanced at Helian Yu and the other man out of the corner of her eye.
Helian Yu was very interested: "Brother Chang Zuo, hurry up and catch up!"
The old woman retracted her gaze, smiled and led the way: "It's almost there, just ahead."
Helian Yu put his arms around Chang Zuo's neck, hung on him tightly, and whispered in his ear, "Brother Chang Zuo, are there many people?"
Chang Zuo's face was solemn: "Hundreds."
Helian Yu's face was droopy, and she shrank into his neck, "Are we going to die?"
"I will keep you safe."
He held Helian Yu tightly with his long left arm and followed the old woman vigilantly.
