Chapter 93: Digging the Hole Without Burying It (1/2)

After listening to her, Li Shu looked at her face again and saw that there was indeed turmoil in her children's palace. But there was still a glimmer of hope, so he counted on his fingers and frowned.

"Master, is it true that my daughter is contaminated with something unclean?"

When Sun Lijuan saw her expression change, her face turned pale with fright and she hurriedly asked.

Li Shu did not answer, but asked Sun Lijuan to bring the person out for her to see.

Sun Lijuan was a little embarrassed. "Master, it's not that I don't want my daughter to go out, but I really have no choice. Ever since my daughter dropped out of school, she has become more and more silent and less willing to go out.

Initially, she would move around the house, but in the past month, perhaps because her condition has worsened, she's been confined to her bedroom all day except for necessary bathroom breaks. I've tried everything, but I can't get her to leave the room. I'm not sure I can get her to come out.

Staying in the bedroom all day, with the curtains drawn, lying motionless on the bed, will make you sick even if you are not sick. Sun Lijuan wants her daughter to get out and move around more than anyone else, but no matter what she says, her daughter remains unmoved.

Initially, she forced her daughter to go out for a walk, but her condition didn't improve after she came back. Instead, it got worse. She went to see a doctor, who said this was a special case and that it was best not to go against the patient's wishes and force them to do things they didn't want to do, as this could easily worsen the condition.

Since then, Sun Lijuan no longer dared to force her daughter to do anything she didn't like.

"Tell her that I can help her fulfill her wish and let her see her deceased classmate again. If she wants to see him, she can come out. She will come out."

Li Shu said.

Sun Lijuan looked around nervously after hearing this. "Master, my daughter's classmate is really here. Is her illness related to her?"

"It's somewhat related, but not what you think. Call the person out first."

Sun Lijuan wanted to ask more, but seeing that Li Shu didn't want to say anything more, she finally swallowed the words and went to call for help.

Three minutes later, Sun Lijuan returned, followed by a young girl.

He looked to be in his early twenties, with large, but dull eyes. His skin was fine, though a sickly pale. He was thin and lifeless, lacking the youthful energy his age would suggest. A gloomy aura enveloped him.

A golden light flashed in Li Shu's eyes. She saw a bloody figure beside the girl. It must be her classmate who fell to his death.

"Master, this is my daughter, Xiaoru. Xiaoru, this is the master I told you about. She said she could help you meet your classmates."

Sun Lijuan pulled her daughter to sit in front of the camera and introduced them to each other.

Upon hearing this, Sun Xiaoru looked up at Li Shu and looked at him for a moment before speaking.

"Master, hello, can you really let Xiaomei and I meet again?"

The voices were weak.

Li Shu nodded.

Sun Xiaoru's dull and lifeless eyes brightened up. Just as she was about to say something, Li Shu spoke first and asked, "Don't you want to live anymore?"

Sun Xiaoru was stunned.

Li Shu's question was so direct that she couldn't react for a moment.

Then I reacted, but there was silent silence.

Sun Lijuan's eyes turned red.

Although she guessed that her daughter really didn't want to live, it was the first time she felt her daughter's thoughts so directly, and she really couldn't bear it.

Sun Xiaoru didn't look up, but she could feel her mother's emotional fluctuations and lowered her head even more.

She didn't want to either, but life was too painful. She struggled on the brink of collapse every day, and she couldn't hold on any longer.
