"Didn't you say you would give me an answer today?" Han Chen asked Xuemei nervously.
"Have you eaten, Han Zhiqing?" Xuemei asked deliberately.
"Not yet. What does this have to do with your answer? Are you rejecting me?" Han Chen said disappointedly.
"If you haven't eaten yet, come home with me to eat! My parents want to see you!" Xuemei said while lowering her head and kicking the stone.
"You agreed, you really agreed! Hahaha!" Han Chen was so surprised that he couldn't help laughing.
Xuemei couldn't help but laugh at the beaming man in front of her. She cleared her throat and said, "Don't be too happy too soon. We still have to see if my parents approve of your performance tonight."
"Xuemei, will I behave well tonight?" Han Chen said, then took Xuemei's bicycle and pushed it himself.
"By the way, Han Chen, let me ask you, do you smoke? Do you like to drink?" Although Xuemei never smelled the smell of cigarettes or alcohol on Han Chen every time she saw him, she still felt uneasy if she didn't ask.
Xuemei and Liu's mother both dislike people who smoke and drink, and think the smell of cigarettes and alcohol is very stinky. At home, Liu's father only drinks when he is happy and during festivals. Liu's father usually does not smoke, and only smokes a cigarette when he really can't refuse.

Xuemei felt embarrassed when Han Chen looked at her. She avoided his gaze and said, "It's too early to talk about this now!"
Han Chen looked at Xuemei's shy expression, smiled, and said, "I'll use my actions to prove my point in the future. Xuemei, go home first! I'll come back to the Youth Institution after I've returned!"
"We're right at my doorstep. Let's just go in together!" Xuemei said.
"I have to go back to the Youth League Institute. I forgot to take some things!" Han Chen replied.
"Okay! Then come over earlier!" Xuemei said.
Han Chen nodded.
